Xeno Crisis — это стрелялка на арене, где один или два игрока контролируют закаленных в боях морских пехотинцев, начинающих смертельную миссию — победить пришельцев и вернуться домой целыми и невредимыми! Беги и пробивайся сквозь тысячи противников, исследуй разрушенный исследовательский пункт, ищи выживших и в конце концов узнай, по какой причине этот исследовательский пункт пришел в запустение.
Пункт 88 разделен на семь отдельных областей, каждая из которых генерируется случайным образом в каждой игре — это значит, что если ты хочешь успешно выполнить свою миссию, то тебе придется менять свою стратегию на ходу. Собирай жетоны побежденных врагов, чтобы модернизировать свое оборудование между областями и ищи особое оружие, которое даст тебе кратковременное преимущество.

Great Smash TV-like Arcade Action that has roguelike elements, with an Aliens-like theme. Haven't managed to beat it yet (neither solo nor couch coop).
Brutally challenging, but a simple and addictive combat loop with some good tunes to keep you hooked. Its already been several years since release but I hope that Bitmap follow this up with a sequel.

I've spent so much time in this absolutely cool game trying to beat easy mode and I've accomplished that with 50 hours of experience! Damn, this one is a tough one for sure, but it's so juicy and gameplay is absolute fire for its genre!!
The game's hardcore because you must learn how to be good in it, learn the enemy behaviors and such and even once you know everything about the enemies it still a test of how long you can keep your cool and concentration to beat the game. Such a cool product in my opinion.
As a pixel artist myself I rate the game graphics as 10/10 and as a retro games enjoyer I rate authenticity as 10/10
This game is OK. The full asking price is ridiculous for what it is.

Xenocrisis is an action packed twin stick arena shooter heavily inspired by Smash TV and 90's Sci-Fi movies. The pixel art is absolutely fantastic. I love the retro gameplay and fun boss fights. This game clearly understands what it's influences are, and why they were great, and mashes them all up into a fun little package. The problem is that with the low rez pixelated graphics enemy projectiles often blend into the background. Overall, the difficulty is moderate and fun. However, it is brutally punishing to get hit with so many projectiles you just cant see on screen. There is so much action going on, that you will be hit by things you were too distracted to see, and that feels legitimate and fair. It's the attacks you cant see the really bring this game down. I wish the projectiles had some kind of lighting effect or a higher contrast to make them stand out from the great pixel art backgrounds more. Overall this is an amazing game with a serious flaw. I'm going to recommend it, but with a serious caviot about the enemy bullets.
you can't use your mouse to aim... 6 way directional aim to be like snes, but somehow smash tv is infinitely easier than this game. you get 100 bullets max in your default gun which is about 10 seconds of shooting and your melee attack is barely longer than your hitbox. not super enjoyable
