Thorne: Tales of The Crow is a character-driven, episodic RPG developed by a Brazilian Indie company and published by RPG veterans Aldorlea Games, . Each episode tells a different tale of Thorne, an infamous mercenary known as The Crow. This is the second episode, released after Thorne - Dearth Merchants.
Story
Thorne is anxious to leave the Duchy of Calida. It is known as a peaceful place in Rowen, where order prevails.
For those with an eye for reality, that is simply not true.
The Crow has to finish one last contract for the Duke before he can finally leave.
Such contract will put him in a dangerou road with no turning back.

It's a game where you can buy cheap and sell your cards to make a profit.
Better.But beware if u r after the achievements, u must import the previous save file from part 1.Its easy actually because the import option is in the menu at game launch.But the only guide for achievements is in Polish language so i had to use the google translator.Overall, its a pixel witcher game hahhaa.Really enjoyed.
The story is as good as the first one.
Sadly that there are only 2 EPs.
The game is a mess. I got stuck multiple times on infinite spawning wasps.
Another good episode of Thorne / Crow. Wish there were more episodes. I recommend this game, Worth the few bucks.
The earth is 4.6 billion years old and we managed to exist at the same time as this masterpiece.

Shortly, it is a good game with 0,2 cent price with trade cards.
although less intriguing then death merchant , the second episode's story still entertains and it's capable of some cool moments.
that being said, the combat mechanics, though good and fascinating in theory, should be seriously optimized.
if it is not enough to be declared a masterpiece or a must-buy, if the game was redefined in the mechanic's system and if they added more detailed dialogues, this game could even aim to the top.
A shame, but still good enough to be purchased, if one is a fan of a pixelated action gdr with a little of tactic.
Nice continuation from Ep1, new weapon to use and some sidequest :) Also the music is great as in the first one. I hope someday there will be an Ep3.

Free Steam Card
This is episode 2 of the Thorne saga. I don't know if there will be more volumes after. Anyway, the combat is still interesting (and somewhat tricky to get the hang of). The story is still about cleaning up old scores, and getting paid for it. That said, the Crow again finds himself dragged into a bigger tale than he expected.
Fun game, and well worth the price. (Especially if you get it on discount. I think I got both chapters for about $1.)

Just finished the second part of this game. Lagging is still a small problem esp. when waiting for game to load from a scene eg when you leave an area. Overall game is great. Love the ongoing story and the intoduction of new characters. As usual a player must take note of all hints given in the game to be able to achieve all quests etc. There are many secret quests hidden in the game as well as some puzzles to work out. If you enjoyed the first game, then this game is for you.
Great game! you gotta love story line.Also, of course the awesome consversations and the choice of words is great !
Not ready for the commercial market.
Pros
- Decent mapping (I feel like the mapping in the first installation was actually better)
- You can import your previous save (items, stat points, etc.)
Cons
- Passability errors galore - you'll often find yourself stuck in a wall or barrel.
- Spelling/grammatical errors in almost every line of dialogue. (I shouldn't be surprised because it was the same with the first)
- So much junky filler - it honestly feels like the developer lost inspiration and just threw together a bunch of quests that feel like they have no actual impact on the story or world.
[*]The Blood Swamp area is horribly bugged - the people I was supposed to escort would get stuck in/behind rocks and I couldn't progress the quest.
I mean, you can try to pick it up when it's on sale - but I'd say this one needed a lot more polish before it was ready to be released commercially.
