This story doesn't take place in the present, but in a dream-like world where life thrives in abundance without fear-Karunbunkurs.
Here, time passes slowly like a huge wave; people and nature exist together in eternal harmony and prosperity.
Beings living here discovered a miraculous power, which was, at first, small, and then grew large enough to move the world. The power transformed into "mana," a force that could only be handled by a chosen few, to whom it was entrusted.
It has been used properly and passed down from generation to generation; now, after several millennia, the power has become common and natural, a convenient form of witchcraft.
However, some things have been forgotten over the long period of peace.
An immense and dangerous power.
The temptation of the dark side that even sees destruction as worthwhile, depending on how the power is used.
Behind the convenient, gentle witchcraft used by all, is this dark temptation that has never disappeared.
People also forgot that this immense power is vital for maintaining the existence of the world. Eventually, it changed into a special witchcraft; only a few talented and gifted people can handle it.
This is a story about young witches who use this special magic as it was meant to be used.

Fun shmup with interesting mechanics that separate it from other shooters. Coming from other shooters it felt difficult initially but once I got more comfortable burning up resources the game became a lot easier and funner too. Lots of characters to choose from, difficulty levels, and game modes which gives the game high replay value. Great game to get on sale.
Two bad things:
- We'll never get the XBOX 360 exclusive characters
- We'll never get the rest of the Episodes
Think this game wins for having the longest game title in my library.
Great Cute em up / shoot em up game. The bullet stop mechanic while making certain aspects easy is also a ton of fun and can cause you to get pinned if you are not careful. The shop that appears in levels allows some fun weapon attacks and the bosses are great. Love the amount of characters you can choose from and the fact that Cotton is included as DLC boosts this game from great to amazing. Stories for characters is mostly nonsensical and poorly translated English but charming nonetheless (loved the cotton one however) overall really recommend this one.
This is a fun horizontal shmup. I usually go more for vertical shmups, but this is one of the few (along with Death Smiles and Black Bird) that I can really get into. The game has several modes, most of which are pretty brutal, especially until you really master the bullet canceling mechanic. Good art and decent music, plus some bad English translations, if you're looking for a shump with a story for some reason.
Comedy type shooter with some dialogs in which you dodge through thousands of bullets. Gameplay might feel a bit chaotic at first but after time you get used to it. There's a lot of variety with stages and enemies even though it's quite short. You can choose from 5 characters each with different speed and shooting pattern. During gameplay you can stumble upon shop to buy cards which can be activated for temporary boost. Boss battles are good and interesting to play. On hard difficulty last stages might get kinda tough but you're able to continue when you lose. Arcade mode cuts only dialogs so mostly it's the same gameplay.
Sadly there's no episode 2...
Pro tip: Don't forget to release fire to pull coins!
A criminally overlooked SHMUP that deserves to be experienced by more people.
