One of the better HOGs i have played recently. Not flawless but but it stayed interesting throughout. Lots of different mini games which were not to easy and usually logically solvable.
A stereotypical Casual Hidden Object Point & Click Adventure game.
Not exactly thought-provoking. Only take a few hours to fully complete.
Mostly a bit of leisurely wholesome fun that doesn't take itself too seriously.

Another great game in the Grim Legends series. I loved the story line in this one, and how the bonus content carried on the story in another direction. It was fun getting all the achievements in the game, very casual pacing and not very difficult. A smooth ride kind of game. There are very few bugs, like, if you decide to play the game first in expert mode, make a new profile to do the tutorial on casual mode next play through, because there's no tutorial on expert. But that was the only one I came across. Very enjoyable game - buy it when you see it's on sale!
I am a huge fan of Artifex Mundi games and this one has been one of my favorite plays to date. The minigames were just the right level of tough for me and the story was pretty good. The puzzles were fun. I recommend it and it was probably my favorite as well from the Grim Legends series.

FUN
Right off the start, I maneuvered to the settings of this game. I am deeply impressed that a 2016 game had the settings of an "HD Mode" for its players. It must've been my first time encountering that for an AM, nonetheless, I do see the difference whenever it's toggled. Overall, it's an interesting feature, but given it's on the more recent side of things, it shouldn't be a surprise.
In addition to this, at least two dialogues provide numerous options to be chosen. While all still must be selected to proceed with the story, it gave more depth to the history of each story arc. As usual there are items you can combine in this game, as well as an encompassing extra story with more than one ending.
Achievements, however, are pretty challenging to get. Several puzzles are required to be solved within a specific timeframe and if you are not very luckily keen eyed, you may miss it. Nonetheless, keep in mind that this game have 30+ achievements and some include fast puzzle clears, as well as completing all the endings in the extra story. This may be cumbersome for casual players if they want to do a 100% achievement clear, but for challenger completionists, this game may come as a form of a treat.
For a game made in 2016, I would say this is very well-made game by AM. A very exquisite work and a great finisher for the trilogy, garnering a little over 3 hours with my playtime. I would rate this 8/10, a similar fashion to the past installment of this series, and a sure recommend.
Played it several years ago, went back to play it again then realized how painful it was. Fake British accents, a Sean Connery impersonator, magic battles, detective like prompts you are forced to follow. How is that saying? "It's a bit much," and not in a good way. Thumbs up only because some people like that sort of thing.
I would recommend this game. The art quality is similarly high like the last game, but a much different style. I think I prefer the fantasy style but that's more personal preference than anything to do with the quality. The game looks nice and has a kind of Gothic steampunk vibe.
The story I would say I maybe a little harder to follow than the other games, only because there is a lot of exposition in the beginning and then some at the end but the middle is kind of bare in my opinion so you can kind of forget about what's happening with the overall plot. But it's a fine story. It's ambiguous enough to me that you might be able to make an argument that this is related to the other games, but it could also exist on its down. Although if there are some deliberate ties to the previous games than I missed them. But even without being a very overt sequel with the same characters or places, it's still fine and I enjoyed it and the characters.
The puzzles were decent and I had fun doing them. Lots of hidden object puzzles to do, but similar to the second game there is no "alternative" game like dominos. There are collectibles and there is a subtle indicator in the HUD for them, but if you remember to keep an eye out, they were easy enough to find without a guide so I enjoyed that as well. You can also lock the inventory bar open too which I strongly prefer in these games.
You can do most of the achievements all in one playthrough, but I will say the timed hidden object puzzle achievement that they have in so many of these games seemed way to small; most games have 60 seconds and this one has a 20 or 30 second one, I don't remember. But I did need to go back and start a new game just to quickly complete in the early game that I practiced in the bonus features to get it when in most games eventually I can find one that is easier to complete quickly.
There is a bonus adventure and it's fine, nothing amazing, but it's find to play and has some extra epilogue of the story in it. Overall I think it's a good entry and a find game of this type, definitely worth checking out.
I did not experience any technical issues with this game.
