love this game and still playing it in 2021. really fun game overall, not what i expected. didnt expect a side-scroller to be half puzzle, half using-your-brain-alot type game. other were chill, not this game, its intense. still fun anyways and i will continue to play it in 2021 and beyond!!! this game is the first that wants me to keep playing it until i get bored of it!! :P

If it has dragons in it, I'll probably like it.

A VN, map exploring, 2D ARPG that plays pretty well despite it's age. I like the lore, everything is voiced so far (in japanese), and the combat is pretty good. Overall great.

Fun ...but no skip on dialog you've not read before.
That's kind of annoying when you don't want to read the story.

So spamming Enter button and accidentally take a choice be like....
Oh... Fu....

1) Combat is hot garbage.
2) There's a single (as in identical) mission available in the first two towns that you have to grind over and over for cash
3) Strip those away and you have a VN section with very few meaningful options.
4) I uninstalled after about 2 hrs. These aren't the droids^Hdragons you're looking for.

Recommended for the dragon waifu, but beware...
I still enjoyed playing this game despite the warnings about this version being a port of the PSP one.
Having completed pretty much everything - sans lvl 99+ Dark Mint on the beach - I would've preferred the PC version, mosaics and all... a quick search here and there to see just how much - in terms of the H scenes - is actually missing, and I counted about 70 frames... not to be confused with 70 scenes(ex: Fr1 being oral with char A. Fr2 missionary position with character A, Fr3 doggy with character A, and so on)

As others have said, not having the H scenes doesn't take away from the gameplay, but it CAN take away from the story somewhat depending on one's POV. Having looked up the cut content after completing all the routes and the extra scenario, I feel that the H scenes - at least the ones between Adonis and Mint - further emphasized the bond between the dracomancer and his dragon 'partner' that this PSP port doesn't execute as well due to lack of said scenes. Not all of it was comprised of mindless/tasteless sex.

I would like to see the sequel translated, but fat chance of that happening, as it goes full-blown dragon loli hentai x3.
If the lack of H scenes doesn't bother you, get it when it goes on sale. I'm going to be more cautious when checking out 18+ VNs on steam: if a patch is easily accessible, I'll buy... if not, then pass, and check for a full version elsewhere.

Combat is garbage and there's a ton of grinding the same quest in order to progress the VN side of things.

I agree with Strayed Lynx's Review.

Being able to have 4 different paths for your Dragons growth is amazing. I'm not sure if its the skill selection or if it is your choices. I think it's the choices through out the "child" portion of the game. I spoiled my Dragon. Kept getting the Nice sound effect that you hear in visual novels, where the choice was "correct". Now im suffering from a Queen like Dragon bossing me around...LOL.

Having 4 "tech" trees that you personally select to upgrade your dragon enhances the battle experience, since its your "Choice". One note of caution though is that certain areas and items can not be unlocked until you reach a certain level of skill/competence in a tree.

Have fun, this is a must play to anyone who enjoyed the Summon Night series.

This is a cute little game. The characters are interesting, and the gameplay is cute. Have to recommend it for those wanting to try out something new.

Though, it does appear it is a port from a PSP game, and there is a PC version somewhere that is... less kid-friendly.

Quick review... this is a fun game with interesting battle dynamics and a great story. Definitely a unique experience which is rare these days. Appx. 40 % battles, 40 % VN interactions, and 20 % character/inventory management. The relationship between the main character and the very young dragon/human hybrid borders on uncomfortable/inappropriate at times, but otherwise the game is a lot of fun.

This day has come! I've long for the story many years ago since I can't read Japanese. This game fills with addicted gameplay and loveable heroin - Mint is the best daughter and waifu ever.

This is probably one of the best VN I have ever played. Its so adorable. Totally recommending :)

I'll keep this brief, if possible.

First of all, this game was made by a group of former members of Studio e.go! the folks who made the Men at Work! games and Castle Fantasia.

Second of all, the art is CUTE!!!! The music is nice and fitting, and the mechanics are easy to pick up.

Third: MINT IS BEST DAUGHTER OF THE YEAR!!! Move over Morgan and Latina, there's a new anime girl to dote on!

Finally, this game might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I'd say this; if you like good art, fun characters and a cute child to raise, go for it.

Well: 6 hours in, and things just started heating up.

Mint has now gotten bigger. There were four possible changes she could have had, look then up if you want, but for me: she turned into the cool-headed type.
In anime terms, she's either a Kuudere or Dandere, leaning towards Dandere here... She's gotten bigger... AH! And now she calls me 'Master' instead of 'Papa'..... My inner child is pained! COME BACK, ORE NO KAWAII MINT-CHAN!!!

In all seriousness, the combat's getting harder, stronger enemies, no more spamming the regular attacks, as magic is now available.

10/10, will buy more if they are available!

I like it. This game remembers me to Summon Night: Swordcraft Story from gba.

What did i just experience? I picked this up hoping it was a cool RPG, but as i played i began to realize that i was starting to become very afraid. This game is the most effective horror experience I have encountered, not because it caused me to cower in a locker from some killer psycho as in Outlast. No, This game filled me with the great terror that can only come from simulating the life of director Woody Allen! I eventually had to alt f4 out of honest dicomfort with the relationships in the story. I should have read the description more closely, as this line is particularly clarified in hindsight.

"You have to educate her through the story as her father, and after all, she will grow beautifully."

Just to clear up confusion, it's just a game, I was not offended, but you adopt a girl who seems to be about 6 or 8 years old, and though i diddn't play long enough for you to consimate your step-fatherly love with her, every time i clicked the mouse to scroll through the story panels, i was truly afraid that was going to happen. It was around the time that the scantily clad grade schooler told me she "wanted to be in bed with me from the moment she saw me" that the dread caused me to quit out for fear of the next panel. I enjoy kinky fun as much as the next nerd, but this was too much for me. Also, from the 30 seconds of combat sprinkled amidst the story boards that i played i wasn't impressed. perhaps that aspect becomes better.

this is amazing for a JRPG Its Really fun combat is a bit hard when doing the game on keybored combat is like playing maplestory but i cant say its all that bad if you want my recommend for this game give it a try its wouth the 10$
