I finally was able to finish the game. Can't wait for new content (if/when it will show up, cuz in menu we can see preview of next one but there's no info about release). The only minus is that some achievements are bugged. Even when I finished all first 5 levels in 100%, it still didn't unlock achievement for that.

It's fun, it's cute, and while it can periodically be head-scratching (rarely...VERY rarely....for the most part all the puzzles are quite logical and simple to grasp), it is largely a chill casual game that is perfect for the young lover of platformer games in your family, or for yourself if you just want something simple and enjoyable to do in between larger games.

Positives:
-Gameplay-
Just plain fun (obviously a mobile game port, but still well suited for a mouse and keyboard). Also, (and critically in my opinion) the checkpoints are generous and not too far apart at all, ergo even if you die a few times, you never have to go back too far to try again. My son wants to interject that he really enjoyed the platforming and how much it reminded him of Super Mario Bros, although in my opinion the similarities are only skin deep (there's a lot more object manipulation/puzzle solving in Mimpi than in SNES era Mario Bros). Regardless, it's enjoyable!

Meh:
-Graphics, Music, Everything Else-
At the end of the day it's got some highly simplistic graphics, cheesy and repetitive music, and short levels (with the exception of the Mars DLC, I would argue they're a tiny bit too short). But the game isn't about those things, it's about fun, relaxing (yet occasionally challenging) platforming and (very) light puzzle solving, and it certainly does that quite well.

So, recommended (unless you really hate mobile game ports, in which case steer clear)!

Mimpi Dreams has cute graphics and adorable little dog. It has good controls which are a must in any platform game. The levels are fun and fairly easy. It's a bit annoying that this went F2P, I paid $3.99 for it so imo the DLC should be discounted for paying customers. It's definitely worth a play through for free.

If you haven’t played this game there is absolutely no reason why you shouldn’t. Easily one of the best (if not the best) free titles on Steam. Highly recommended. 👍

A great little gem! Mimpi Dreams is very fun platformer with cute animations and a fitting soundtrack. The puzzles are not too challenging and the collectables are easy enough to find. You can get all the achievements in a single walkthrough.

It's a cute and enjoyable casual platformer.
No big bugs or technical glitches.
I would recommend the actual gameplay itself, but I cannot recommend the entire game package.

It's simple: If you paid for a game you should be able to access everything that comes with that game, WITHOUT having to pay MORE money.

Add DLC sure, but if you can't keep the achievements for DLC and Base Game seperate, then don't add the DLC achievements.

Yes, this is could be something to do with Steam rather than the creators of the game.
If that's the case then I am sorry to the creators of this game.
But nonetheless, achievements are a major part of gaming for me, and if a game states it has achievements, I expect to be able to achieve those achievements.

I paid for this game and now the devs decide to make it f2p. I get the Factory DLC,costing barely 1/5 of the price i paid for the game, which was included in the game i already paid and if i want to re-100% the game i have to pay 3.99€ for a measly dlc including one more lvl. I don't mind the game becoming f2p but the least the devs should have done was to give the original buyers the bonus dlc for free, otherwise they should have released it as a f2p from the start so noone would mind for any number of dlcs. Afterall we already paid for it. I would recommend this game but such behaviour from the devs is unacceptable and shouldn't be encouraged so i can't do it in good consience.

It was a nice game and I bought it on Steam as a full game, but the dev decided to make it free to play and as a reward for a full paying customer I was given a $1 DLC which had already been included in the game I bought. So uh, why exactly did I buy this game again? It would have been different if it had been free to play from the start, and even releasing a new DLC pack is totally fine, but to essentially lift a middle finger to people who bought the game a while back is not really a practice I support. Please don't do this!

This is exactly how you make a sequel! The first Mimpi game had some major issues with slippery controls, repetitive puzzle types and annoying hint mechanics, but every single one of those things had been improved a lot in this game. Now it's much easier to enjoy this cute feel-good puzzle platformer! The difficulty level of the puzzles had been lowered a little too much to my liking and the game was pretty short compared to its price, but those are just minor flaws in an otherwise nice package. The only real complaint I have is about some really nonsensical achievements, including for example dying 1000 times. Considering I, a pretty mediocre player, didn't die even 100 times during my playthrough the achievement seems really awkward - especially as trying to get it results into you purposefully killing the adorable dog character over and over again. =')

This game is absolutely adorable! The music is fun and Mimpi is just a cutie who goes on adventures helping others out along the way. A great game for kids too. The graphics work without a problem on large widescreens as well. Also Steam achievements & trading cards!

The first game was fun but this game has better graphics, controls and is much more fluid gameplay. Kudos to Silicon Jelly for producing such a adorable game that is a delight to play and can be enjoyed by anyone.

Easier and much more casual than its predecessor. Even so, the graphics and outfits have been updated, and I like them better than the last game. The puzzles are insanely easy (probably because people kept saying the previous game was too hard) and since everything is split up into chapters that are unlocked from the beginning, there is no definite storyline. But it's still a nice time killer.

I think there's a mistake with one achievement, however:

The Ghostbuster achievement tells you to fight a ghost in the Castle level. It's actually referring to the castle inside the Fairytale level. I spent an hour trying to search for a ghost in the Castle level until I finally gave up and googled it

Mimpi is a cute little side scroller/puzzle game, it would be great for young children. The animations is are simple bnut well do. I picked it on sale for $2.79 which was a good price for it, however I wouldn't pay full price.
But it's a great game.

It's simply fun and enjoyable platforming indie game. Levels are nicely designed aswell as straight forward riddles, and animations. The only bad things about it is that Mimpi is making such a painful sound upon death it might be displeasing to hear, call PETA... Other than that short but good game.

A short but adorable little platformer. A bit of an improvement over the first game; the control system appears to be better.

It's quite easy, so probably one for young kids or if you just feel like a bit of a non-challenging game - give it a go :)

So i finished the game in less that 2 hours :/ Fun game, but this is demo, not a product that i would like to pay.

While his owner is away we get to explore his colourful vibrant dreams again. As enthralled as I was with its predecessor I still had some issues with it. My main issues were to do with it being an android port. This was addressed with this sequel which was designed as both an Android and PC game.

The artwork in the original was lovely but this is a significant upgrade The artwork is sharper, brighter and looks smoother. The voice effects also sound better. Mimpi can now take tinkles on checkpoints… no cleanup needed!

The developers clearly made the decision to take the challenge out of the puzzles in this follow up. I played the latest Factory level in the game and the difficulty hasn’t changed There is also a controller bug in on one of the puzzles in that level. This appeared to be addressed in the challenge mode, where you only have one life. However, as previously mentioned with diluted difficulty you have to question how much of a challenge it is. I can only speculate the reasons for this but personally for me this was a disappointment.

Regardless you will find this casual, light puzzle platformer extremely cute, charming and relaxing. If you are looking for something to play a few hours and leave a smile on your face you can’t go wrong with joining this little dog’s dreams.

My conclusion is that I can’t give this a negative review because of lack of more challenging puzzles. This is still quality game riding with a lot charm. I don’t regret playing this but given the choice between this and the original? For me its Mimpi not this one.

When you purchase the game you will also get free updates as new levels are finished. This game is also an easy perfect game for achievement hunters. I personally hope that in the future if they decide to another Mimpi or update in the future there is an option of more challenge or it is increased.

I purchased both Mimpi games at full price and didn’t regret it. Since then the price has been reduced. If you don’t own any of these games and you think that this game is for you would be barking mad not to pick up the bundle deal at the steam store:

Mimpi Dreams is very cute and creative. The puzzles aren't that challenging but they're still fun to solve. The animation is smooth and the artstyle is very charming. It's a short game that only has five levels as of now but I'm hoping there will be more in the future. I'd recommend Mimpi Dreams if you just wanna spend the afternoon chilling out and playing a nice little game.

Just like the original Mimpi, the game has cute graphics, fun platforming, and neat puzzles. The price isn't to high and for the experience you get it's definitely worth it. I loved playing this game and I can't wait for more levels to be added! Good job Silicon Jelly, keep it up.
