About the Game
An intense competitive and co-operative, couch-play multiplayer twin-stick shooter with some of the fastest and most frantic gameplay around. It’s a single screen, explosive arcade blast of fun where the weapons and arenas are deadly and the rivalry is fierce.
The top down view means there's nowhere to hide so you better bring your "A" game! Low ammo ensures changing weapons on the fly is a must. Just make sure you know how to use it or you might blow yourself into a hundred tiny fragments.
Did we mention one shot kills? Yeah, you're probably going to die a lot in Fragmental, but you’ll be having some good old noisy fun in the process.

You can NOT play this game in co-op on one computer with keyboard and one gamepad.

Local player done right
it says multiplayer and local multiplayer, be ware it is only local...
playing vs bots gets boring in 5minutes.
Also few gamedevs are aware people play azerty keyboards aswell, there is no keybinding possible.

Don't recommend unless you have the controller. Wish i knew about it when i payed for the game. Instead its in small notes around system requirements.
This is the Mexican standoff, cyber-hyper kinetic, run n' gunathon that you have been looking for.
The fun and variety are through the roof here, whether or not with friends or even by yourself against bots.
This game will have you yelling at the screen in joy when you win and in angst after you are smashed into pixels by an enemy because you just ran out of ammo right before you were going to get the winning kill shot.
The very definition of instant action fun.
10/10 Would light myself on neon colored fire and run around like a chicken with my head cut off again.
Very fun couch multiplayer game, Would seriously recomend playing with people tho. Can not wait till the updates to this game and the online multipler. The visuals and art style look very neon 80s. Would like to see the ability to customise what map sets are played.

Was Introduced to Fragmental at Glasgow Expo, we ended up playing for around half an hour, getting our arse handed to us by the developers (thanks for that!)
It doesn't feel the same playing with AI, but its still addicting. Next time I have people over, this will be first on the list of things to do. I may have less friends by the end of the night, but who cares!
It's basically a twin stick shooter where the idea is to kill anyone else playing (and not yourself in the process!) A simple point system determines this, which is changable in the options. The maps have great variety as do the weapons, with more being added in future updates from what has been said. Overall its a great game, simple concept with fast, chaotic rounds and addictive as hell! can't wait for online MP! Totally recommend!
Awesome multiplayer game! Very recommended if you have friends around to play with. Smooth gameplay, nice weapons, cool maps.
Perfect game for an evening with beer, pizza and friends (or hookers if no friends are available).
My money goes twoards the devs adding Computer Friendly Controls and Online Multiplayer.
At $15 I was on the fence for a while about this game. I'm glad I finally just bought it. I knew seconds into the game it was exactly what I was hoping it would be.
It's like a Tron-inspired dual-stick shooter with a glitchy 80s/VHS look and feel to it.
It's multiplayer only at this point. I do hope they add bots eventually, but even if that never happens I'll be happy with the purchase. They could even do a "campaign" with single-player or coop fighting from level to level versus bots.
Great variety of weapons, interesting power-ups and level design. The controls are perfect. It gets a bit hectic when the arena is spinning, sections of the floor are moving, the walls are closing in, and random red balls of death are raining down on you from above. Rounds rarely last 20 seconds. Most are around 5 seconds or less.
One quick fix that should be made is the scoring needs to be tweaked IMHO, or at least let players set the number of points required to win a game. Maybe that's somewhere in the options already, I just didn't see it. But a game can go 50 rounds before a player gets enough points to win, since you only get points for kills (not for accidental enemy deaths) and you lose points when you die accidentally.
Very fun game though.
I think the game is great for the price. Gameplay is smooth, graphics are nice. The only thing up for improvement might be control over the length of the game. I can't wait to see the online multi-player mode develop for this. Excellent early access game for couch gaming.
