This game is a lot tougher than *Fort Defense* from the same developer. Even on easy, I got stuck around the midpoint and had to replay normal and hard levels to grind enough points in the workshop to unlock bonuses and push through tougher stages. So yes, there’s a bit of grinding involved—but I didn’t mind it.
The game is priced at €5, which feels a bit steep, but it’s worth grabbing during a discount.
One odd thing to note is the achievements—you can unlock all of them by about halfway through the game. Not a big deal, but it’s worth mentioning if you’re motivated by achievements.
Overall, it’s a solid little tower defense game!
Honestly, I truly wanted to enjoy a simple Tower Defense game and I would have settled for an 'okay' rating even.
This couldn't even make that grade so I flat out returned the game...even knowing it was on sale.
Nice in the first few levels but to challanging for me past lvl 15 of the first era. To much stress to play in a nice casual way. I don't mind to play a level multiple times to finish it but this just gets frustrating to me.
I cut my first Tower Defense gaming teeth on this game so of course I recommend it!
The graphics are awesome (yes, seriously), the pace, variation in maps and levels, the SFX sound, music, characters, and challenge all equal a good, casual gaming experience and replay value.
It's a fun TD game and creatively produced, yet incredibly inexpensive....
so what can anyone want in this life for entertainment that costs less than a cup of coffee~!?
Had me a coupon so I snagged this game up. Mama always said the best defense against dinosaurs was skull clad automated weapon systems and a few howitzers. Well, Mama was right again, bless 'er divine wisdom. I shoulda listened to'er more and I wouldn't have all this child support. But anyways, I'm a bit slow so this game seems hard but it's a 10/10 for me and sweet, dear Mama.
