Played this a ton a few years ago, been very fun to find this and enjoy it again! Great game if you enjoy pinball.
it's very good
When we play pinball we are aiming for high scores, to beat other people. Practically the only thing that makes the game replayalbe is corrupted, the 100 first players on the global leaderboard are all cheaters with the exact same impossible bugged score, and the dev did not solve this issue, did not do a clean up or taken action to prevent this from happening.
Too expensive for a one tricky pony with a faulty leaderboard, refunded.
I remember playing an old game on my Atari-ST call Starball. I loved that game, & was never able to find anything like it since. Until now. This actually means a lot to me. Thank you WIZNRAR.

This is an absolutely stunning pinball game, it's also really smooth to play. There are good ball physics so no complaints there.
Some areas that I have felt this game could improve on would be the addition of mini stages. But I am one of those gamers who grew up on Dragon's Revenge etc...
There are also times where there is so much happening on the screen at once it can get a little tricky to see where the ball is, which can become slightly frustrating. Especially when it's then lost.
These things are minor and do not take away from the enjoyment of such a lovingly designed pinball game.
Great theme, beautiful aesthetic and so many hours of enjoyment.
10/10 the best pinball table ever made. Soundtrack is banging.
Super fun pinball table and game! Unlike any other, other than the companies other pinball game which is also 10/10 amazing.

Honestly I never got pinball until this game. I don't know if it's the presentation or the fact that it mixes in some new ideas, notably from a number of genres I like. But this game actually brought me that moment of finally "getting" what people like in pinball, digital or not. I have super been enjoying this game after grabbing if on a sale, far more than I thought I ever would have. Super good presentation, music, and game feel. Every day I am aiming to bump up my personal high score and I look forward to tossing increasingly more "just one rounds" at this game.

This game is the very epitome of rage quite then reload.
I have played just shy of 4 hours of it and I want to say that I've loved every minute but it has genuinely come so close to having me shatter monitors or break controllers.
I need to be clear here, this is a 10/10 game for what it is. I genuinely love it and I'm not nearly done with it but a tiny mistake causing you to drain in the middle of a good run and the likes had me reaching for Alt+F4 constantly, only to sit and absolute seethe for a minute and then reload the game right away.
I've not tried Xenotilt yet but if it has anything on this then I know I'll love it too. Pinball FX should stop churning out boring skins and take a crack at something even half as good as this.
Demon's Tilt can be an absolute blast at times. It's action packed, looks fantastic and has some incredible music. All of these factors can make for a really addictive experience. It's not a simulated pinball experience, though. Which comes with it's pros and cons.
The biggest issue is the game being marred by some rather poor design choices. The flippers are tiny, making specific shots incredibly irritating to hit. Some areas are nigh on impossible to hit reliably even when you know how to get there. Some areas are difficult to reach with out hitting "teleports". The ball is often bouncing around so much you don't actually have any control over what is happening. This can result in watching the ball in play for quite some time without any chance to affect it, then watching it get thrown right between the bottom flippers or down the outlanes, which the tilt never seems to help with.
Speaking of the tilt, it is a major factor here. This is a mandatory mechanic that is required for you to get anywhere in the game. The table is so poorly designed in some areas that not knowing how to use this effectively will result in a lot of cheap ball losses and low scores. Most pinball tables don't shoot you straight into the gutter, but this table will do it frequently and reliably after certain actions are taken.
I really like some aspects of the game and can have fun playing from time to time, but it's difficult to recommend with all it's cheap actions and rather poor table layout.
I wish I could buy this game again to support how much I absolutely treasure it. Occult/goth and arcade games go so good togetherrrr
