I am giving this a qualified recommendation because it was a great game back in the day and played well on a Windows 10 machine with a 1080p monitor. However, regardless of what this store page says it does not appear to be fully remastered to work with modern systems nor does it seem to have support for modern screen resolutions (unless the store page was written a decade ago). The game starts but only the top left of the menu appears. I have tried the F11 trick, editing the options file, etc. and none of that resolves the issue. The game simply is unplayable on a Windows 11 machine with a 2K monitor.
A true classic, especially given its age. Still playable and enjoyable after all these years. Safely recommended to anyone who wish to play and old school RTS.
Mediocre and outdated. Game is over 20 years old and it shows.
it always has been my favorite game, since i bought my old laptop in 2007
+ Great graphics for the time of development and release
+ Spectacular gameplay moments, triggering identification with the situation and characters
+ Requires strategical and tactical capabilities, especially with regard to attack direction and timing (e.g. variable armor strength of armored vehicles). Rushing into battle without coordination, a bad unit composition and choice of equipment results in failure, even against weaker opponents and AI.

AWSOME
Love the stories here both factions have a diverse and fun campaign its a little too easy but thats a minor issue. The stand out being the axis faction. great game
If you like hardcore, oldschool RTS, with NO base management, but developing units, this one is for you.
It's an old game, but runs smoothly, the resolution is ok :)
Finally found a gem, what has a proper single player mode, with story and everything.
its old but AMAZING you learn about tank (but there is a rage once in a while)
