If you enjoy dungeon crawlers and decision-heavy gameplay, this one's worth checking out for its replayability and mystery.

This game is strange. Structurally, it's sound, and very polished. It's fast-paced, and clearly, the developer cared a lot about making this a good game. There are SOME original assets. Not a lot, but there are some. The character portraits and battle backgrounds are original. My question is, if they're willing to do that much, why still include the basic default RPG Maker assets at all? Why not make everything from the ground up? That seems like a very strange decision to me. The gameplay is fun but it can get repetitive, and there's really not much else going on besides grinding and getting to the next level. That's fine, it's just not really my type of thing. It's a decent game, and I think it's quite decent, but it just doesn't go all the way in my opinion. Also the game is incredibly easy. Way too easy.

6/10. It's a good game, but I don't really see myself coming back to it

I am 32 years old.

My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.

When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.

Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.

With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.

After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.

Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.

Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.

Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

So far the game seems pretty ok and I would recommend for a time killer. It may be me (because I am a grinder) but something seems off. I can't put my finger on it but something isnt making sense in the game play.

Very bland game with a narative that is a bit laughable, there hardly is any narrative at all. Sure the designer did put some time and effort in it but with very little inspiration or creativity. Game plays in 5-6 hours at max but then you get to an endboss that seems unbeatable.
Battle system worked fine and clean but that's about the only positive point here, overall game feels casual and uninspired with just standard RPG stock material (not that I mind that, I know other games who do a great job with stock material).
There are a lot of great RPG Maker games out there so don't waste your time on this one.

Interesting game

Recommended for game farming

For the most part the game was more or less enjoyable, combat felt nice and clean, and the auto evade on traps and slow enemies was actually kind of fun, not to mention the strategy was pretty good. Along with other things this game's plot was also pretty clean, with the exception of a few errors. But it also arguably felt like a template as nothing about it really jumped out at me to make this game special. So while a quality work in design, and plot, it really just felt like a basic turn based cartoon style rpg, with the exception of its own attacks, (and possibly the TP bar which would fill upon taking damage and was a nice touch) but because the game felt very generic, it really relied on being very solid, and for the most part it was. Until I reached the final boss, to put it simply, it had an attack that did 3k right before i died, and while that in itself seems fine, the leveling of the characters means you will need to grind a TON to actually survive it, and thats going off of the assumption that there is not a loophole strategy to cancel it, (i did one run where i used literally ever tactic, i had 2 teleport scrolls, a cross for my characters to be revived, i did 5k damage in the final turn to make sure that it died before dialogue, i stunned it, i confused it, i froze it, and a poisoned it..... despite confusion and stun working on it like any other enemy, during its final dialogue it just ignores the fact that its being killed, stunned, and confused and just attacks on the spot for 3k anyways. So thats, along with the lack of creativity in the game, and the fact that other people ran into this issue and got no response from the devs on the steam forums showing this game is likely dead, has given me plenty of reasons to give this game a negative review.

Just another RPG game that you should probably avoid.

It's been a while since I last played this game, so I don't remember much about it. What I do remember is that I enjoyed it and want to see the full version of this. Keep up the good work!

I am really enjoying this game, it has a very unique feel to it compared to other RPG maker type games, I particularly enjoy the resource conservation - limited enemies so no farming easy enemies for exp, and limited healing items so its almost like a kind of survival horror.

Finished the game, it was entertaining but I could not figure out how to defeat the last boss, when he is nearly dead, he unleashes an instant kill spell that does 3500 damage which always resulted in a game over.
I eventually beat him by editing my save file to give myself 5000hp so I could tank his final attack.

The ending was... abrupt. I mean the credits rolled and the hero walks out of the dungeon having killed the bad guy... and that's it. There was no conclusion to the plot of the Hero's lost memories, and nobody every betrayed me in my quest either.

I did enjoy the journey but the destination was the equivalent of going for a nice walk through a park only to finish it by stepping into a pot hole and dying instantly.

Even though this game is in early access, it is fun and I would like to see what else the developers are adding. There are the occasional bugs but overall this is a pretty decent game.
