- A deep and powerful story - element adds a personal, human aspect to a storyline previously focused on warring factions and the politics that fuel them. The single player campaign features three character-driven storylines set 25 years after the events of Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance
- Command enormous armies made up of customizable land, air and naval units. Each of the three diverse factions – The United Earth Federation (UEF), the Cybran Nation and the Illuminate – have been completely redesigned from the original game, with many units.
- Experimental units - returning with new designs and greatly enhanced looks….and some new tricks that can be unlocked through research
- New Supreme Commander Gameplay Experience - players now have the ability to research new technologies and units and deploy them instantly on the battlefield, allowing them to upgrade a base-level tank to a high-powered, multi-barreled, AA-sporting monster by the end of a given game.
- Strategic Mode UI - the redesigned UI that is faster, takes up less screen real-estate and gives better player feedback
- New rendering technology that allows us to create visually spectacular environments

FUN TO PLAY IN TEAMS
Its essentially a vastly dumbed down and inferior version of its predecessors. It is far inferior in every way you can imagine. Don't waste your time with this and play the earlier games.
one of my favorite RTS of all time, though palling a little in comparison to the previous titles
Great RTS!
Certified classic! Nostalgia certainly plays a role back when I played on the XB360 but a really fun game none the less...
I hope they make a comeback with a new game it was fun and want see more lore about this game
Great game with a super nice learning curve. Game is especially good with friends, If not the Ai does a good job. My 2nd RTS, only to AOE.
really fun to play with friends. I have yet to play 1 and forged alliance
good
an awesome RTS with very dynamic and satisfing combat and battles highly recommended
One of the best RTS ever.
Great tower defense type of game. Still playing in 2025.
Fun
Arguably one of the greatest RTS games ever made. The other games are equally as great, but SupCom2 holds a special place in my heart. I sunk easily hundreds of hours into the skirmish mode on the Xbox 360 version. It was the first RTS that I actually enjoyed. When that Xbox 360 finally conked out in November of last year, I had a few months of downtime, not really thinking much about it, then I remembered there was a PC version, and with it, the entire collection I had missed out on. The entire collection is full of masterpieces, but SupCom2 makes me feel like a child again
Very enjoyable RTS
Not worth the money
childhood game, old but gold, hope there is a sequel one day......
There's never been another strategy game that came close to the feelings I've got for this game. So many unique ideas at the time : gather debris from the battlefield, the zoom out map, shileds, nukes etc. God bless BeyondAllReason to follow in the footsteps of this game until we get another iteration.
A clear example of decline — from legend to, at best, a mediocre strategy
great game
This game is absolutely awesome when it comes to killing boredom. Just got home and wanna game? Turn on the PC, then launch Steam, hit that Supreme Commander 2, and before you know it, you're late for work!!!
Strongly recommend for those that have a large appetite for destruction, because the amount of destruction that you can cause in this game is unmatched.
I love supreme commander :) First RTS ever!
great game, plus this guy is my second cousin so thats pretty cool, thanks for making this dope game
dude i used to play this on xbox 360 this shit was fucking awesome and it still is i love this game and i cannot bring myself to stop playing it its so good i fucking love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the game where you can explode a mere reactor as Cybran to blow up a whole enemy tank army and even gunships near it and then give your enemy emotional damage.
This is the game where you can go for a turtling strategy against AI as UEF and mass Disruptor Stations to bombard enemy to ash and use air scouts to spot the enemy ACU and then use their ability to stun the ACU to death.
This is the game where you can rush Teleport tech as Aeon and pop on top of an enemy experimental to slaughter them.
This is the game where you can go ahead and and cheese rush Tactical Missile Launchers as Aeon and ruin someone's game.
This is the game where you can play as UEF on a navy focused map and spam submarines to ruin other factions day.
This is the game where you can make walking ships as Cybrans and tower over land armies.
We have it all :D.
This game rocks. Still not as good as FaF. But Still amazing
great game for building huge attack forces and steam rolling the map :)

game sucks ass and do not play this with scott
Runs fine on WIN 10. Constant freezes and crashes on WIN 11.
laggy
i love this strategy game
Played on the 360 and switched to PC still great and the DLC is a great addition to the game, and its cheap in a bundle when the pretty common discounts come about. Loved it but after 12 years it can get stale if you arn't into multiplayer. love it, would recommend to RTS newbies especially who are interested in the genre an don't want the needlessly complexity of more mainstream ones.
Splendid!
Yeah even if its a downgrade from forged alliance its still pretty solid and i actually really liked the story campaign the first time i played it back in the day
The game play is different each time in skirmish mode and I enjoy the close up views of the machines.
A fun RTS that is a grate part of the SC Franchise that takes an already grate RTS and made it even better
Geneva Convention? More like Geneva To-Do List!
fun
Like Command and Conquer but controls a bit more different...
game play is good but Unit limit is... AUGH. ( C&C:4 which it doesnt exist in out minds )
very fun to play with friends, it's my introduction to this series and it is very beginner friendly. only gripe i have is there is not alot of content for it 8/10
nice
Supreme
what a good game and very addictive i got it when it was on sale and never looked back
definitely recommend
The first game and forged alliance got it right, sc2 does everything wrong. The camera controls are wonky, the hotkeys are bad and you are forced to play zoomed in and everything is on smaller scale. They took out so much of what made the real supreme commander games good, simplified everything and made a rather crappy game.
If you love classic RTS like TA, C&C, SC/SCFA you will hate this.
Ok it looks nice but the scale is all wrong and those epic 500+ unit battles have gone.
It's just not the same, get SC/SCFA from ebay or PAT.
This sequel is like a TV remake of a hit movie. The names are the same, and everything looks vaguely similar, but the writing is rubbish and the while thing is utterly soulless. All the interesting elements of the original were left out of the recipe. Honestly quite glad it took me this long to realise there was a sequel - I don't feel like I've missed anything at all.
My first experience on this game was when XBOX 360 Live Gold still had these free monthly/weekly games. I picked SC2 up on there and I was hooked! I had played C&C Generals before so I was familiar with RTS games but this hit the spot for me.
Not too long after that my XBOX sadly died (the infamous red ring of death) and I didn't have a lot of money so I kinda left most of my games like that. Hard times.
All grown up, I bought it a couple years ago on Steam. Surprised to say it didn't disappoint. It's keeping up nicely with newer RTS games even tho they don't release updates anymore and I still love to boot up the occasional match and kick some Bot ass. They have a nice campaign and there's a ton of mods if you're into that, also surprisingly there's still some multiplayer matches going around I hear.
Overall I recommend but maybe that's just the ape brain talking, craving to make battle with little things on a 2D battlefield.
Good luck Commander!
love this game good for people that love future, top down, strategy games
