- New rendering technology that allows us to create visually spectacular environments

game sucks ass and do not play this with scott
Runs fine on WIN 10. Constant freezes and crashes on WIN 11.
laggy
i love this strategy game
Played on the 360 and switched to PC still great and the DLC is a great addition to the game, and its cheap in a bundle when the pretty common discounts come about. Loved it but after 12 years it can get stale if you arn't into multiplayer. love it, would recommend to RTS newbies especially who are interested in the genre an don't want the needlessly complexity of more mainstream ones.
Splendid!
Yeah even if its a downgrade from forged alliance its still pretty solid and i actually really liked the story campaign the first time i played it back in the day
The game play is different each time in skirmish mode and I enjoy the close up views of the machines.
A fun RTS that is a grate part of the SC Franchise that takes an already grate RTS and made it even better
Geneva Convention? More like Geneva To-Do List!
fun
Like Command and Conquer but controls a bit more different...
game play is good but Unit limit is... AUGH. ( C&C:4 which it doesnt exist in out minds )
very fun to play with friends, it's my introduction to this series and it is very beginner friendly. only gripe i have is there is not alot of content for it 8/10
nice
Supreme
what a good game and very addictive i got it when it was on sale and never looked back
definitely recommend
The first game and forged alliance got it right, sc2 does everything wrong. The camera controls are wonky, the hotkeys are bad and you are forced to play zoomed in and everything is on smaller scale. They took out so much of what made the real supreme commander games good, simplified everything and made a rather crappy game.
If you love classic RTS like TA, C&C, SC/SCFA you will hate this.
Ok it looks nice but the scale is all wrong and those epic 500+ unit battles have gone.
It's just not the same, get SC/SCFA from ebay or PAT.
This sequel is like a TV remake of a hit movie. The names are the same, and everything looks vaguely similar, but the writing is rubbish and the while thing is utterly soulless. All the interesting elements of the original were left out of the recipe. Honestly quite glad it took me this long to realise there was a sequel - I don't feel like I've missed anything at all.
My first experience on this game was when XBOX 360 Live Gold still had these free monthly/weekly games. I picked SC2 up on there and I was hooked! I had played C&C Generals before so I was familiar with RTS games but this hit the spot for me.
Not too long after that my XBOX sadly died (the infamous red ring of death) and I didn't have a lot of money so I kinda left most of my games like that. Hard times.
All grown up, I bought it a couple years ago on Steam. Surprised to say it didn't disappoint. It's keeping up nicely with newer RTS games even tho they don't release updates anymore and I still love to boot up the occasional match and kick some Bot ass. They have a nice campaign and there's a ton of mods if you're into that, also surprisingly there's still some multiplayer matches going around I hear.
Overall I recommend but maybe that's just the ape brain talking, craving to make battle with little things on a 2D battlefield.
Good luck Commander!
love this game good for people that love future, top down, strategy games
Truly one of the games of all time.
Low taper fade? Low lo-lo-low Taper taper taper Fa-fade!
- Low taper fade
- Mid taper fade
- High taper fade
Low taper, fade low, low taper!! fade taper low.. LOW TAPER FADE!!!!
Classic RTS gameplay and descendant of the Total Annihilation series. Also love the really big late units.
Fun to play, would recommend for multiplayer
TRUE FUN MUST PLAY!
Good Game
Good game, just not my thing.
Old but a good game.
Childhood game of mines first time playing it in 7years played for 3 hours straight then cried
great game get it.
It's fun with friends.
Its great
had my matter extractor nuked because the enemy had no concept of checking my base for information
gg
Just love this style of game play, and this game does a great job. It's an old classic at this point.
a favorite of mine when i was still on xbox 360 years ago. holds up better on pc tbh
game don't load up not sure why
After a 4 hour PvE match that was mind numbing, I've concluded that this was not worth the 13 dollars I paid for it. Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance is far superior to Supreme Commander 2. And it should have just been left alone.
Supreme Commander FA is the best one. This one is very different, and not as good, but it's ok
SC2 sucks FA is so much better
Nostalgic game and pretty balanced unit wise for mid-late game, it is a true real-time strategy fast paced top down game where multitasking is key!
Takes time to learn but if you like strat games this is the one
Pure old school RTS. Exceptional brainless fun, i love it.
It sucks. The first one was so much better, even if the AI was terrible.
Enjoyable story line and lots of units to use with three different race. Mindless RTS fun.
Where to start with Supreme Commander 2?
It is probably one of my all time favorite games. It's not due being super complex, or super hard to master. But for the simple fact this is one of the easiest RTS's to pick up and play about anytime. It's old enough it can run on most things with issues. It's peer to peer system means you can always get games. It's cheap so a group of friends can pick it up and start going. For those who've never played Supreme Commander well I think you'll find it a good time. A bit simplistic but still fun. The Campaign is solid if not average for an RTS story. Skirmishes against AI are fun, though I do recommend turning off Nukes. Since the AI tends to be nuke happy. The DLC is cheap and worth it as well. Now for those who have played other Supreme Commanders. Is this game better than Forged Alliance. No it's not. It's more simplistic than forged and some what a step back. But I still say the game is very fun with a group of friends and nor does it suffer from massive slowdown unmodded forged alliance does. As it is this is one of the games I'd whole heartedly recommend as someones first RTS. Simple and easy to pick up but you can still learn things that other more RTS will want out of you. A stepping stone really. This and the First Company of Heroes are the two RTS's I'd throw at a new comer to the genre. So this game isn't perfect but for $13, $18 if you don't get it on a sale isn't a bad price. Besides it regularly hits sub $5 on sale. But is worth playing. Especially if you want a simple RTS you don't want to have to be at the top of your game at to play. Just to sit back and enjoy a good Real Time Strategy game.
DOPE, 100% PURE OLD SCHOOL RTS VIBES.
fun deatiled game
