Labyronia is an epic RPG, heavily inspired by Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VI, and the Dragon Quest series.
When your world is invaded by mysterious creatures, the very survival of humanity is at stake. Some believe these creatures are gods, descending down on the earth to punish humanity for its cruel and wicked ways. Others believe them to be malevolent invaders from beyond the stars. It's up to you to discover the truth behind these creatures' origins and save humanity from their wrath.
It's widely believed that the secret to defeating these monsters lies in temples that appeared, scattered throughout the world, 50 years prior. Journeying to these temples, across the harsh, hostile landscape will require intense skill, cunning, and might. Unearthing the secrets inside will be a challenge akin to the most hardcore JRPG's of the 16 bit eras.
Can you harness the power to defeat the gods? Labyronia is an epic adventure that will stick with you forever.

I've a very bad experience with the map design, it is absolutely horrible.
First of all you can get lost so easily and it is literally a multiple hours of walking simulator, specifically you don't know where to go other than the NPC telling you to certain places that you don't even know where it is located. I've spent 65% of the gameplay being lost and just running around on a loop trying to find a specific places that is genuinely very hard to find even with hints like the desert map for example. 4/10, getting lost is not fun at all :)

I tried playing this game for 3 hours... Didn't understand any form of story or direction... Monsters are overpowered in every area... They use stun or paralyze skills that don't fade and kill you with chain attacks... I seriously tried to play through, but it's crazy frustrating, items lower and raise skills but you don't know till you buy them... Your skills you find don't really add any impact to battle experience or do increased damage... Just a lazy effort.
I appreciate the effort of making original tilesets and music, but otherwise... Don't buy this game... 2/10
One of the most pointless, unengaging SLOGS I've ever had the misfortune of adding to my library. Mazes within mazes seemingly designed just to annoy the player, uneven insane difficulty jumps, enemies are either too weak or way way too powerful, confusing map layouts, maps that seem to go on and on with no hints as to where to go, I even tried playing this awful trash with a full walkthrough and still am struggling to even get to the halfway point. Enemies will stunlock and kill you with status ailments over and over and over, awful RNG trash. Don't even get it on sale, one of the most boring generic slogs I've ever had the displeasure of playing, go check out the Space Pilgrim series or Strangers of the Power much more fun and engaging RPG maker fare.

I love rpgmaker games but this was not up to par at all. Not worth the investment unfortunately.
