used to grind this shit out with my brother on his ipad mini and it's just as peak as i remember it a decade later

Pretty solid platformer. Also very hard
This game is genuinely a fantastic platformer. it does have some iffy parts like the inclusion of Cryotic and the Jet Fighter level (the bane of my existance) but overall its a wonderful $15 platformer that controls amazingly and an amazing soundtrack courtesy of Rushjet1 <3

This game has no right being as good as it is. I, for some ungodly reason, would consider this my favorite 2D platformer of all time. Look past the comically horrendous voice acting and simple but admittedly fun story, and you'll find some great level design, masterful pixel art with a very wide array of enemy designs, and an excellent soundtrack to boot, one that I'll jam out to any day of the week.
The PC version specifically could do with some improvements, like the ability to map your controls yourself and a better way of navigating the overworld map, but I doubt we'll be seeing those improvements now of all times. Those two issues are by no means dealbreakers though, as the control scheme is simple anyway and navigating the map isn't an issue if you're not going to backtrack much.
Gameplay - 8/10 - Simple controls, quite easy to get the hang of, but quite engaging nonetheless. The level design is consistently great and each level feels wholly unique.
Visuals - 10/10 - The incredibly detailed pixel art is consistently incredible, making the backgrounds, foreground elements and enemies all a delight to see.
Soundtrack - 9/10 - While I love some tracks more than others, there's not a single one in here that I'd reasonably consider a total dud.
Difficulty - ?/10 - Depends on how you play, as there's 4 difficulty options for each level, spanning from easy as pie to dying in one hit in the hardest version of the level. At the easiest it's a 2/10, at it's hardest it's about an 8/10.

I loved this game when it came out. simple, but fun game with youtubers I enjoy. 8/10
valentine level sucks but otherwise alright
