I don't understand why there is no some kind of a bundle with all DLCs for the price of Definitive Edition. I payed for the game and couple of DLCs more then the current price of Definitive Edition, but i don't have even half the content. Why some random guy can buy the game for such a low price now, while i don't have an option to upgrade my current game to definitive version for equal or even less amount of money? Where is my discount for the items i already own? It is unfair!
Very boring company with boring drawings irrelevant to the plot and a monotonous narrator who is also bored to voice it, very blurry graphics, quickly becomes boring.

Graphics are super nice and gives arcade vibes and gameplay + animations are pretty fluid
Cons -I'm Not bad in 1vs1 combat games but what's up with the 8 to 12 button combo and what is even that star button 🫠 it's definitely not beginners I got so confused in tutorial section i 🫠bcuz ot that star button . Call it skill issue but this game is terrible with combos and control layout choice for me .
They got Gooses and Akumers in this one, plus they got Megan and a Final Fancy Man. You can dress up your favorite ladies like they went to the wrasslin show.
Best Tekken ever.
1% of which is because of all the perfect things that they did right with this game.
99% of which is because it is NOT the Tekken 8 noobfest, mash, tracking/homing, everything has high crushing on startup and randomly high crushes on block so you can't punish while certain things that always looked like they SHOULD be high crushing remain unchanged.
Tekken 7 was such a Legendary game before they ruined the skill, fun, and competitive side of the game with the fucking mess that is Tekken 8. We'll see how well this has aged in 3 years - hopefully I'm wrong
I actually like Tekken 8 (single-player, casual; hardcores I think hate it; if so, sorry about that) but I'm pretty sure I like the feel and speed of Tekken 7 better.
also, and this is also subjective, I feel the Tekken 7 LEVELS are *way* better than those offered in 8. personal taste, sure, but come on. I love the moonlit dojos and even weirdo Arctic level where the background isn't at all synced with player movement more than I do the city street and surface of asteroid. personal taste.
I dunno, I think both are good. but Tekken 7 seems smoother and more polished somehow, despite looking *way* less graphically advanced. the movements seem tighter, even if the graphics are maybe half as "pretty". I'll take smoothness and deftness over graphical impressivness every time. but I do like both. just a casual's opinion, which doesn't go for much with games like these, I guess.
At the time of writing this i have 500 hours in T8, Tekken God Prime with Alisa (for the most backwards of you lot)
I miss Julia, I regret not having played her alot more. It is true you only truly value the things you love only once you lose them. Ah, Tekken 7 sucked. It had Akuma in it, Madduck, Kong, Jim, Bryan Furby, ludicrous and braindead characters, all their players should be summarily executed. It's only saving grace was having Julia in it.
Bring back Julia Chang or else

For fans of the series, Tekken 7 is a must-play. And for me, Katarina is the main reason to jump into this game!

Akuma (in story mode) is the cheeziest fella I've known.
As long as Mortal Kombat doesn't return to its roots, Tekken will remain the best.
In the 90s, we had a great confrontation between Mortal Kombat and Tekken.
We were either Mortal or Tekken fans.
I started with Mortal on my gameboy, but in 1996 I totally switched to Tekken with the release of Tekken 2, and since then I've stayed with Tekken, which certainly influences my review.
Gameplay:
Characters, I think characters are very important for a fan and when you get attached to mythical characters it's hard not to be influenced by nostalgia.
But this game is still very good.
The story is very short but the gameplay is very good, it's not the best fighting game but the devs respect the Tekken style and that's very important.
It's good gameplay, perfectly adapted to the story, which is good Japanese-style silliness.
Fighting for fighting, with always a moment to get stronger and stronger always more stronger.
The final battle isn't as pleasant as what we had back then, but it's very well done and the spectacle is what you'd expect when you buy Tekken.
Unlike Mortal Kombat, Tekken has kept its style and universe as it was at the beginning.
Graphic design:
It's wonderful, the anime is worthy of a Japanese studio.
It's perfectly realized and the characters are respected, Marshal Law is perhaps a little disappointing, he was in Xiaoyu my favorite character but in Tekken 7 he's not as good as before and his appearance is excessive.
The annimations of the final fight are perfect, worthy of a good Tekken.
Playtime:
It's short, too short, but the single-player and multiplayer modes are still a lot of fun, and the devs have kept the Tekken style.
The story is too short and the little stories added for each character are fun, but ultimately too short and uninteresting.

This game is fun, for a beginner its a great starting off point as you are able to mash as much as you want to get a victory, this makes it so they are allowed to feel what victory feels like and are motivated to keep on playing and over time improve with better skills and a lack of mashing all to together, overall a great game for people looking to fuck around and for others a space for pro play.

"A nostalgic masterpiece"
When I was a kid, I used to sit in front of my PlayStation 1 and play Tekken 3 for hours, either alone or with friends. Tekken 7 has managed to bring those memories back.
The game combines classic fighting action with modern elements without losing its unique charm. The characters are diverse, the fights are intense, and the game is especially fun to play with friends.
Whether as a nostalgic look back or as an introduction to the world of fighting games, Tekken 7 offers an excellent multiplayer experience. Highly recommended!

The #1 thing the Tekken series is good at is being COOL AS HELL, but that's mostly it.
Good game but the story is practically nonexistent haha. The story is cliche and unoriginal, and too short to really get invested into anyway. I usually spend lots of hours on a game before I get to finishing the story. For example, I have hundreds, maybe thousands of hours in the Battlefield series, but not even halfway through most of the story modes there. This is almost always the case with me playing video games, even if the game was to take 30 mins to complete. But with Tekken7 it took me very little time in comparison. This might be a good thing because it means the action and fight scenes hooked me in, but it is probably also a bad thing because it shouldn't be such a breeze even on the lowest difficulty. Which brings me to my next point:
The difficulty system is nice, because it really is skill-based; you would have to rely on luck as a complete beginner to complete the story on medium difficulty, however, at the easiest difficulty systems are so utterly dumbed down, just too much in my opinion. Being able to mash the same button for every fight in the story is honestly boring and clearly not much effort was put into that area in particular. That system is also pretty confusing IMO. Medium difficulty on the other hand is completely fine and exactly what you'd expect. But I think it does take some character knowledge to not have to rely on luck for the medium difficult. I completed around half of the story before switching to easiest difficulty simply because I'm very picky when it comes to fighting games - I do not like playing characters I don't like nor think are comfortable/intuitive to play.
For example, the battle as Akuma was quite mundane to me, mostly because I never played the character before, so I had to literally go into the moves list to understand how to pull off various moves in order to not just keep dying. Even then, it only slightly helped because I just hate such an unorthodox system for moves, because it's clunky at first, and requires practice, which is something most new players wouldn't have done yet.
Then there's the other side of things. While some fights were too difficult (on Medium difficulty), other fights were literally just the opponent letting me land the same blow over and over again. This inconsistency in AI difficulty, even on Medium difficulty, made things rather underwhelming. The way some of the AI acted should only happen on a difficulty below the current lowest...
Obviously, there's far more I could cover still. But, despite all the negatives, the animations, the fight scenes, and the overall feel of the game, is what still makes me want to recommend this game to other players.
Am I a Tekken fanboy? Not really. I just don't believe that just because a game is bad that it would necessarily make it unenjoyable. Quite the opposite in fact. In some moments, the game is so bad that it is sometimes genuinely hilarious.
The combats are awesome overall I will rare it a decent fighting game.

Overall its not perfect but more solid than tekken 8 because if im correct the heat system was made to help noobs beat pro players which imo no in thier right minds craees about.

Tekken 7 was sick. Did a lot of good for the series and the FGC as a whole. That being said, at this point, just buy Tekken 8.

15 hour's in the game and i still don't even know how to neutral the controller
