This game is fun, for a beginner its a great starting off point as you are able to mash as much as you want to get a victory, this makes it so they are allowed to feel what victory feels like and are motivated to keep on playing and over time improve with better skills and a lack of mashing all to together, overall a great game for people looking to fuck around and for others a space for pro play.

"A nostalgic masterpiece"
When I was a kid, I used to sit in front of my PlayStation 1 and play Tekken 3 for hours, either alone or with friends. Tekken 7 has managed to bring those memories back.
The game combines classic fighting action with modern elements without losing its unique charm. The characters are diverse, the fights are intense, and the game is especially fun to play with friends.
Whether as a nostalgic look back or as an introduction to the world of fighting games, Tekken 7 offers an excellent multiplayer experience. Highly recommended!

The #1 thing the Tekken series is good at is being COOL AS HELL, but that's mostly it.
Good game but the story is practically nonexistent haha. The story is cliche and unoriginal, and too short to really get invested into anyway. I usually spend lots of hours on a game before I get to finishing the story. For example, I have hundreds, maybe thousands of hours in the Battlefield series, but not even halfway through most of the story modes there. This is almost always the case with me playing video games, even if the game was to take 30 mins to complete. But with Tekken7 it took me very little time in comparison. This might be a good thing because it means the action and fight scenes hooked me in, but it is probably also a bad thing because it shouldn't be such a breeze even on the lowest difficulty. Which brings me to my next point:
The difficulty system is nice, because it really is skill-based; you would have to rely on luck as a complete beginner to complete the story on medium difficulty, however, at the easiest difficulty systems are so utterly dumbed down, just too much in my opinion. Being able to mash the same button for every fight in the story is honestly boring and clearly not much effort was put into that area in particular. That system is also pretty confusing IMO. Medium difficulty on the other hand is completely fine and exactly what you'd expect. But I think it does take some character knowledge to not have to rely on luck for the medium difficult. I completed around half of the story before switching to easiest difficulty simply because I'm very picky when it comes to fighting games - I do not like playing characters I don't like nor think are comfortable/intuitive to play.
For example, the battle as Akuma was quite mundane to me, mostly because I never played the character before, so I had to literally go into the moves list to understand how to pull off various moves in order to not just keep dying. Even then, it only slightly helped because I just hate such an unorthodox system for moves, because it's clunky at first, and requires practice, which is something most new players wouldn't have done yet.
Then there's the other side of things. While some fights were too difficult (on Medium difficulty), other fights were literally just the opponent letting me land the same blow over and over again. This inconsistency in AI difficulty, even on Medium difficulty, made things rather underwhelming. The way some of the AI acted should only happen on a difficulty below the current lowest...
Obviously, there's far more I could cover still. But, despite all the negatives, the animations, the fight scenes, and the overall feel of the game, is what still makes me want to recommend this game to other players.
Am I a Tekken fanboy? Not really. I just don't believe that just because a game is bad that it would necessarily make it unenjoyable. Quite the opposite in fact. In some moments, the game is so bad that it is sometimes genuinely hilarious.
The combats are awesome overall I will rare it a decent fighting game.
This game is not bad for the most part.
Overall its not perfect but more solid than tekken 8 because if im correct the heat system was made to help noobs beat pro players which imo no in thier right minds craees about.
TEKKEN 7 is more like a tekken game and tbh i LOVE rage arts im fine with em but the major flaw of this game and tekken 8 and for many years to come is......well.......

Tekken 7 is a more solid and grounded tekken game than 8 i love 8 and wanna see it get better but if Harada and Bandai dont respect us people will continue to go back to TEKKEN 7 .

Tekken for a long time has been an amazing game series and Tekken 7 is no exception. Tekken 7 just might be one of the greatest fighting games I've ever played, or even potentially of all time. The graphics are incredible, the animations are smooth, the characters are likeable and well designed, everything is just so incredibly great.

absolute dogshit, gameplay and all other stuff is good but understanding the game and its players especially in story mode is the worst, even as a kazuya main who played tekken 8 before 7 i cant defeat akuma coz these little fuckerz thought yea less difficulty means they need assistance and give them a useless combo who a newbie could do and still lose every damn time cant block akumas move cant hit him coz he can motherfukingn block literally everything even as he prepares for a move and who on the bandai namco team thought akuma in the first place was good idea no wonder theres so less people who have that achievement, i now hate my 20 dollars spent on this shitty game and after all this even youve played the whole timeline of tekken from 1 through 8 you cant defeat akuma i personally was so excited for t7 but this is the absolute worst calling it dogshit horseshit would be and insult to those words i cant believe i defeat azazel angel jin true devil kazuya at hard difficullty but this blunder of a game i cant beat this shit im just done after this im gonna ask namco to refund me and compensation for the shit they made after t6 which tbh had its own fixed things so you can out do those and win and yea it ws difficult but certainly not that difficult i mean i have 80 percent of my health adn boom its gone coz akuma decided enough fun now die bitch with his rage art
I had dabbled in street fighter but never really got into it. Tekken 7 got me into fighting games. The pacing and gameplay are simple enough that you can grasp and use concepts within like 30-40 mins. Once you start to get into it it becomes a deep and maddening game with many characters and many many many moves.
Tekken 7 to me doesn't feel as reflex heavy as other fighters I had tried like sf4 or 5. Its much slower and once you launch someone combos are easy to perform. You can also get creative with your combos since there are so many moves!! Its cool but not super useful cause you would rather just google each characters best combos. This game has a lot of missing quality of life features that the 8th game adresses but I havn't really played that
Two of my biggest complaints has to be people just rage quitting mid match and not getting penalized. And while its awesome to have all these characters tekken 7 seems like it has almost too many characters but im not really sure thats a 'complaint' complaint.
Despite some obvious technical limitations it is undeniably better than Tekken 8.
A solid game that teaches you the fundamentals of playing Tekken. I just wish they didn’t do Lars as dirty as they did: he’s a fun character with very little going for him. Thank god for Leroy and Katarina. Such honest characters that I can have fun with.

As someone who used to play Tekken: DR on PSP, i can't help it but like this game even tho the Mishimas are totally crazy. Only thing i dislike is that some characters are now only accessible if you buy them as they're hid behind a price tag. Love the rage arts also.
If you don't like Tekken 8, take a step back and enjoy the Tekken 7 experience. For just over $25 on a Steam sale day (for the game plus DLC content) it's a bargain. Gameplay is quintessential Tekken. Love it

It's Tekken. How much more can a like it? Although to really feel like an Tekken Arcade classic the game could've used offline modes like Team Battle, Survival and more of the Veteran Characters like Baek Doo San, and Bruce Irvin. But eh even though she originally appeared in earlier Tekken games, it's good to see Kunimitsu back in the main storyline. I would've loved to see Michelle Chang as a playable character in this this game, especially for Veteran Characters who used her as a main in Tekken, Tekken 2, and The first Tekken Tag game.
Tekken 7 lives to the hype and digs deeper into the Mishima Clan's lore with the Mishima Saga story mode.
I'm 100% satisfied with this game as I am with the Tekken Games.

Rage art is questionable, but, it's not like it cannot be blocked or countered. Everything you want from T6 plus more... Don't skip to T8 without at least trying this.
I play this when I want to beat the ever living dogsh!t out of my grandma. Every time I use the Chinese girl to f.uck up stupid boys and knee them right in the d.ick online I get a rush. I always pretend it's her and when my opponent's p.iss starts to boil and rage quits I always imagine it's my grandma falling at my feet. Where exactly is your God now? You stupid old buffoon.
