Stretch his arms and legs and seize freedom!
Boneless Zombie is a unique 2D physics platformer in which you control a rubber-bodied zombie and make for the goal.
His elastic body stretches and retracts at will. Put it to good use?climb walls and cling to the ceiling as you head for the goal.
Story
This is the laboratory of a certain organization. At this laboratory, researchers kidnapped people and used them as guinea pigs in their attempts to develop a new type of zombie. One day, the organization succeeded in developing a new type of zombie from a young man they'd kidnapped. They named it "Boneless Zombie."
The zombie had no bones and could not walk. To compensate, its body was as elastic as rubber, and could stretch its arms and legs at will.
The young man who'd been turned into this zombie had a girlfriend.
The girlfriend kept searching for her kidnapped lover, and at last she reached the laboratory where he was held.
She'd finally found him, but the young man she saw had changed almost beyond recognition.
However, she saw in his expression a sort of twisted sadness.
This convinced her that even if he looked different, his heart was still the same. Determined, she slipped past the security guards and managed to rescue him from his cultivation capsule.
Panicked that Boneless Zombie had gotten out of his cultivation capsule, the researchers activated all their zombie-destroying traps and evacuated the laboratory.
Boneless Zombie lost sight of his girlfriend as she was taken away by researchers.
Left alone, the young man put his new boneless body to work and struggled to escape from the laboratory, while holding on to the hope that his girlfriend had gotten out safely...

Sorry, but this game just isn't fun, it just feel like a rage flash game, just not for me.
While Boneless zombie has some pretty fun gameplay and has SOME (emphasis on some) replay ability, its impossible to ignore all the flaws it has, the bare bones garbage textures that haven't been modern since 3+ years when this game came out, the gameplay is decent and you can get a kick out of it for half an hour to maybe an hour, tops. And the undeniable 5 DOLLAR PRICE TAG! 90% Sale is the only time to get this and even then its hard to recommend.
Mr Zoo Corporation... I think i like the koi koi japan dish better
it's extremely difficult and unforgiving. the concept is interesting, but I'd say it could be implemented better.
I did not enjoy the controls for this game.
This video game is truly a work of art, possibly one of the, if not the BEST games I have ever played in my life.
You play as a rather tragic character, an unnamed fellow who is kidnapped by a mysterious organization (who clearly represents Society opressing the common man) who is then turned into a zombie without bones, a "Boneless Zombie", if you will. "Boneless Zombie"'s girlfriend from his previous life as a human man breaks into the secret facility and rescues "Boneless Zombie" from his chamber. She is forcibly removed from the building by armed security guards, yet the "Boneless Zombie" has still escaped. This sets off a large series of alarms, causing every scientist in the facility to evacuate. The alarms arm a series of highly advanced "Zombie Destroying Traps". From here, you, the player, must step in to assist "Boneless Zombie" and lead him to freedom, back to his normal life. However, since "Boneless Zombie" is a zombie that lacks bones, his life can never truly be normal. He will forever be a rotting husk without bones, a "Boneless Zombie".
game controls about as good as bad rats
I don't mind chucking the creators 5 bucks for making me laugh at something so dumb. Then again that's coming from somebody that bought "Broccoli Bob" for the same reason...............

TLDR: For the first level Boneless Zombie gives a chuckle and the concept seems like it might hold together for some cheap runner/platforming action. The music is atrocious and loops way too much. The control scheme becomes really hard to manage, the bounce back from being hurt by spikes is completely uncontrollable and frustrating
You will spend most of your time mashing your controller trying to get your character to behave in a sensible manner. Someone with a lot of practice might find some flow to this game and enjoy it but the investment/reward ratio is off balance and with the low amount of levels it is hard to justify doing so.
Amusing simple game which is quite fun to play imo! It gets tricky later on, especially if going for all the bones.. yet the game never seems to get overly frustrating.. Those criticizing the physics should take note that the game does not come across as one that takes itself too seriously ;) I like it.
I got Boneless Zombie for 49 cents so I say its a good buy. I have always loved games like this. Very amusing.
Boneless Zombie has potential, but it fails to reach it, no pun intended (the game is all about a zombie reaching his arms and legs out in an effort to get around each level).
The cartoon graphics are quite nice, and the basic idea is fine, but the game is let down by its other elements.
If you play the game for a few minutes, it's fine, but as you start to level up, it just becomes annoying, due to the key mapping.
I found the controls to be terrible, especially the use of I and P as main keys; I think that it would have been better if it was designed with the two keys chosen to have been right beside each other.
In any event, that problem could have been overcome if the game allowed players to change the key configuration, but it doesn't - so it fails miserably on that score.
As a minor point, the Help screen informs players that Esc is the self-destruct key, but it actually is the Space key that is used for self-destruction. As it is one of the few controls for the game, it was a bit slipshod to have got it wrong on the Help screen. Luckily, one of the tips you receive when you first play the game tells you that you can use the Space key for self-destruct, but if you miss that or gloss over it, then the Help screen will be of no use (I only discovered it because the tip appears in a screenshot that I took).
If the controls for this game were improved, or - better yet - if players could change the configuration of the keys used, then that could make all the difference. But, as it stands, I cannot recommend this game.
It was fun for a short while; but, overall, it's a thumbs down for this game.
a cute game concept devastated by one monotonous song that lasts for about 10 seconds and then loops back from the start... If you really want to buy it, play it without any type of audio "on"
This game is more fun than it should be. The mechanics are polished and the controls are responsive. It never feels like it's the games fault, as the controls are easy to learn but hard to master (abeit tedious at times). The music becomes repetetive quickly, so I recommend you put on your own music. I'd also like to see a bit more polished environmental graphics, aswell as an incentive to collect the bones - as there is no reason to collect them right now, other than satisfaction. Pretty hilarious flash game.
:3
I'm sorry I'm dizzy. +1
It's fun, honestly.
It's like QWOP.
Yeah, so.... I didn't quite know what to expect during this game, so let me tell you what to expect.
You will be doing the following:
- not being impressed by the physics
- finding the physics funny
- laughing at all the different ways you can move your guy around
- swearing to the diety of your choice
- wondering who in the hell came up with this level
- possibly being annoyed because you spent a long time doing something for an achievement on a previous level that was really easy to get on this one
- wondering why the hell this level is easier than the last level
- "hehe, stretchy"
- "Who in the hell would put that there?!?! Seriously!"
- admitting the game was fun after it frustrated the hell out of you
All in all, the stages can be very different from one to the next. You literally don't know what to expect. I finally did everything after 8 hours of playing, so use that for your judgment. I recommend it.
i have no words
Game is funny 5 minutes, then it becomes frustating maybe that's why all positive reviews are after 0.1h of gameplay.
It's not frustating in a good way like Super Meat Boy or the likes.
I don't know what the dev was smoking when he set up that price of 20$ for the game, if you feel like you want to have a try, or just have a laugh for 5mins wait for it to go on sale at 95% off only, otherwise stay away from it, even then you might wanna keep your 1$ for the parking meter or something.
Where has this game been all my life? I'm only a short way in, but it's worth the sale price I paid for so far. (Less than a dollar I think)
If you like silly physics, tricky level-navigating, and dying to spikes as a zombie (What?), you'll like this game.
