LOOOVe this game!! simple yet fun and slightly challenging. Just wish they'd update it after so long and add new features as holding 2 items and upgrading more things, also more restaurants

I don,t recommend this game. For those of us that like diner games, this is the worse one I ever play. It is slow and require too many clicks to achieve a task.

I will start off by saying that this game is definitely not for hard core time management players or those looking for a story line. It does not get tougher as you play. There is very little story. That being said, it was a fun time killer and I really liked the buying and seeing new food items. I tried to figure out if there was a pattern to when the bikers get mad and take someone with them as opposed to when they just get mad and leave. I couldn't see one but there might be since I didn't really try very hard.

Great game for what the content is. Gave me around 7 hours of playing time end to end. So use that info how you will. If they add more to the game would gladly play more!

Fun game. Good mini games. Four different restaurants to work your way up to. Game doesn't really end though. You just play until you get tired of it. If you like this game, try Hotel Dracula. Very similar.

Nice, little game. Not too challenging nor frustrating. The controls work quite well, graphics are nice. Worth buying on the sales. Just don't expect too much. While it's ok for kids adults may get bored quite soon.

I've played for about an hour and I already feel that I've gotten everything out of the game possible. The "mini games" aren't challenging and have no impact on the game other than providing a little more currency. This games lacks story lines it only says you are "running a family business." There is some assumption that the cook is the waitresses mother but they don't interact at all. I recommend saving the 4 dollars for a game that puts in more effort,

Fairly standard game of this genre, looks better than many others. Control scheme is very inadequate. You never quite know if you are ordering the waiter around, or sending clients to tables or ordering the cook since nothing has a selection reticle. Often the game will just not respond as you click on stuff for that reason as it expects you to be controlling another part of the action. For a fast paced priority game like this its a huge problem. Otherwise it seemed well done, making a profit upgrading a restaurant with more dishes and tables until it is 100% at which point you move on to the next joint.

I picked up this game on sale for about $1. I've played games like it before and enjoyed them, and for $1, hard to beat. It would have to have some major problems for it not to be worth at least that much. But then you see the thumb down up there and you can already tell there was.

Graphics: Lets start with a positive. I liked the graphics. It is easy to tell what every thing is, and what you need to click. The characters all have a fun look to them, and while I probably wouldn't decorate the various restaurants like they are, they have a nice look. 5/5

Controls: You would think with a game like this, controls wouldn't be an issue. And for the most part they weren't. You click a guest and then a table to seat them. Then you click whatever makes the dish they want and the dish. Then you deliver it. Not to hard. It was easy to mess up when in the rush, but that is true in real life as well. That being said, I did notice the game not registering my clicks a fair number of times. I know I clicked on something, and if I missed it, then it had to have been by maybe a few pixels. When the controls are this simple, that is a big problem, but fortunately they worked most of the time. After a few thousand clicks, it only missed maybe a hundred of them. 4/5

Story: Might not think this would be something to grade in a game like this, but there actually is a story! Not much of one, but it is there! A bike gang rolled into town and has been running everyone out of business. As one of the last restaurants still open, you have to do what you can to re-open the other restaurants and drive the bikers out of town (apparently that is how you get rid of a biker gang; serve them bad food. Good thing no one figured that out in Sons Of Anarchy. Show would have been over by the first episode.) As usual in games like this, I got bored and made up my own stories, but what was there was simple, but effective. 3/5

Game Play: Much like the controls, this is something that a game like this either gets right or gets wrong. And for the most part it does fine. You open a restaurant, upgrade it, serve customers good food, serve bikers bad food, at the end of the day you count your money and repeat. 4/5

Fun Factor: Casual games are designed to be played in short bursts and have to be fun to keep you playing. I enjoyed the first restaurant, an Italian place. And I enjoyed most of the second (Fast Food) until I had everything upgraded and realized that I would have to keep playing to get all the goals for it. When I had most of the third restaurant (Cafe) upgraded by the second day, I could see that it would be a lot of time grinding to get all the stars from there on. Not fun. I still probably would have kept playing, to get achievements, but there aren’t any, making the grinding even less fun. 1/5

Final Score: In the end, how much you like the game depends on how much you like clicking things a lot. I had fun early on, and probably would have kept playing if there was a reason, like achievements (and what game now days doesn’t have them?) For the $1 I spent on it, the game was worth it, but if you paid $4 (full price) it isn't and is really over-priced. 17/25

While it didn't effect the game too much, installing the game also seemed to ruin my system. After installing it, everything started running very slowly. Uninstalling it fixed the problem. Because f that, I filed for a refund. I don't know if anyone else has had problems like this, but even for free, it wouldn't have been worth it for me to keep this game.

A very cute and simple diner dash clone. It uses a click-queue as its main mechanic, and adds a few cute elements. There are "bad" customers that you want to eject with gross food before they cause a problem for your paying customers, which makes things a bit more interesting. And there are (very simple) mini-games to acquire special dishes that need no time to prepare.

It is a perfectly enjoyable way to spend some relaxed time clicking with a goal.

I beat it in 4 hours. Every diner is exactly the same gameplay as the previous. I'm not actually sure about recommending the game, but it killed 4 hours for $0.89, and it satisfied the part of me that loves brainless games.

One of the more mindless time management games I've played. Every level is the same, with no special challenges. There are four restaurants, but they're all basically the same, too -- same layout, same customers, even some of the same dishes. Your goal for each restaurant is to fully upgrade all furnishings and equipment, serve a certain number of customers, and send away a certain number of gangsters, but you end up with enough money for all the upgrades fairly early on (especially as you get to later restaurants and have money left over from the previous ones), have plenty of customers to serve, and end up having to grind for gangsters to get the last star long after the game stops being fun.

It's an ok game, seems to have not much content, not much to it verging on the boring side. Seat patrons, see what they order, get chef to make and serve when ready. Spend earnings on upgrades such as on more tables and food items.
Gangsters come in, add chilli to whatever they order so they leave.

Very easy, non complicated gameplay, it's the kind of game you play to pass the time or if you're not sure what to play. It took me only 5 hours to complete everything as in get all stars for all 4 restaurants.

Ok for $1 but not worth anymore than that.

Diner Mania is what it sounds like, a combination of Diner Dash and Cake Mania. As far as content goes, Diner Mania is bare bones, offering only the most minimal of content a game of this genre can present. The storyline is fairly straightforward: A string of family friendly restaurants are driven out of business by rowdy bikers who vandalize, terrorize, and refuse to pay their bill, leaving only the owners of the Italian restaurant in charge of helping rid their town of the biker plague and put their neighbouring restaurants back in business. Despite this endearing storyline, this game itself is anything but endearing,

There's no dialogue, written, spoken or otherwise, and the character models are terrifyingly plastic with dead expressions and no personality. The only thing you get from the sparce selection of patron models are grunts and coughs of which there are only about three or four total.

The coding is shoddy as attempting to take seperate orders from a single serving station results in the primary order being dropped from the queue and the waitress taking only the second order, resulting in botched orders and ultimately waisting time and cash. The spice rack also oftentimes presents incorrectly, showing me full spices at the beginning of a new restaurant, only to go into a game with missing spices.

There is no real challenge to the game with only bikers as primary enemies. They serve only to take up space and waste food.

If you're into these click frenzy games, it certainly delivers as the game can get terrifyingly hectic and at its worst, can definitely help pass the time, but with only a few hours or gameplay, the replayability is deathly low. It's only marginally worth its normal price, but certainly won't make you regret purchasing it for a dollar.

Just beat it. Less than 9 hours of game play. The last 2 hours my restaurant was fully upgraded, was just grinding for gangsters. Needs more content.

I'm just enjoying the heck out of this little game. Golly it's so much fun. Mindless fun. Like playing the slots. Your mind goes blank and you just keep pulling that leaver and , oh wait, pushing that button and pushing that button. (I dated myself, last time I went to Vegas they had arms on machines and they used large tokens or silver dollars). Anyhow this game won't put you to sleep and it's WAY better than some of the under $5 dreck out there. Buy it. Thanks for reading.

Diner Mania is a game where you are given the task to run a restaurant, serve customers and try to get gangsters to leave the business. With the money you earn you can upgrade your restaurant and get new dishes to serve. Eventually you save enough money to buy three more restaurants and you should try to earn the full three stars in each restaurant to finish the game.

The game has a good pace, and can get quite difficult at times when you are swarmed with customers. Thankfully you are able to switch restaurants in the game, so it never really gets boring (until the end, when I was trying to get the three stars in the last restaurant, and no upgrades left, that was a bit tedious).

Over all, I don't really have any complaints with the game. The mechanics with gangster customers you have to get rid off is a fun twist. I finished it in less than 6 hours, so I think that it's worth the price if you like these kinds of games.

This game sucks. Graphics are fine, sounds ok. Gameplay is annoying to the extreame. The AI is rediculously stupid. Comand clicks aren't registered half the time. So you just have to keep telling the waistress over and over. It's a pain in the b*tt. No fun.....

This is a really chaotic diner simulator. Just like in Cook, Serve, Deliciou! you will be going on a clicking frenzy.

I think the most awesome feature this game has to offer however, is you can load up a long queue of actions for your waitress to fulfill, and she will remember each and every task perfectly making the game play so much more fun.

It definitely has simple mechanics, but it's still challenging enough, but not overly for a casual game. Given the amount of content and stuff you can buy/ unlock as well as the minigames and virtually endless levels, I think there is great replay value here, especially if you're looking through your Steam library and have no idea what you're in the mood for. This game is colourful and fun with insanely cute graphics and smooth animations. Watching all the little people eating their meals is fun in itself, although you won't find yourself idle for long! The music as well is perfect and cheerful, and all of the little sound effects are all appropriate and helpful.

Overall this is a high quality casual game which is simply a great pleasure to play. My only problems with it is sometimes clicking the little circles to make stuff is a bit tedious at times if you're trying to speed your way through, and I also think there could be more place settings on the benches to store more dishes, but overall I give this game an:

Actually suprisinbgly intense and difficult. This is not for a quiet relaxing gaming zone-out. Its a bit fast :D Its absically diner dash, but with gangsters? so you have to annoy some customers deliberately...
