It makes me sad that I can't recommend this game, but this is a no from me. Honestly, I love this game and keep coming back to it but there are bugs everywhere and it's super frustrating. If you can put up with the bugs, maybe it's worth a buy but if you want something polished, this isn't it.
Example of bugs I've personally encountered:
- Upgrade to second bakery, get taken back to the first and you cannot complete your day
- Was rolling baguettes and stopped midway, could not go back to rolling baguettes which bricked the order
- Left game to go to main menu (to fix bricked baguettes), came back and all the pans were displaced in the oven, causing some to be raw and some cooked.
- Also after leaving and coming back, one of my completed orders is not not registering as complete. The games says I haven't done it, even though I have.
This is a game I enjoy and will continue to play, however the bugs are literally game breaking. I always rage quit my sessions, so I cannot recommend.
I would recommend this if not for the bugs. I enjoy simulator games like this and as someone who likes baking this is a fun game to play, wont ever get tired of it even if I play it repeatedly thats for sure but, the Bugs I cant.
So far here are the shit that I've encountered
-Cant grab trolley when clicked
-Cant put down the metal basket under the dough rounder no matter how I click
-When you reset the game like back to main menu/desktop because of the bug the whole game just messes up, Lost one pan of bread in the Oven after reset and needed to do that again. Another is even when I completed the order 10/10 and put it on the blue mat after reset it became 7/10, lost a lot of time cus of it.
-Blocked road, how am I suppose to deliver orders when all the roads leading to the delivery bakery/cafe is closed and I cant access it
-Sends me back to the tier 1 workshop, needed to reset it by skipping the day, resetting the game or finishing one order and starting a new day but its annoying.
-Trays clipping to the floor after reset or going full on invisible, You can only see it if you hover your mouse over it.
-Cant click objects
-Not a bug but why cant you re-use muffin/loaf pans after being used? I need to throw it away and buy new ones for the next order, its such a waste
-Also the eggs in Bakery tier 1 and tier 2 I actually need to do math just to get how many pieces of eggs I need to use, ml for eggs is fine if tier 3 is unlocked but on tier 1 and 2 its just a headache
It's a nice and cute play. Although it has given me a new irritation for making bagels and pretzels, I love the game and def recommend. BUT! It's super easy to underestimate the time needed for certain things like making BAGELS in the SLOWEST possible way and forgetting to put the donuts in the box as they get flipped, so there's challenges too.
Badly optimised, no matter how hard you try and adjust the settings it just endlessly struggles without juttery frame rates. Aside the stuttering, the game frequently has issues with the controls not doing as intended. The "Instant Delivery" option when you highlight a product on order doesn't work! At all!
My latest issue, which caused me to actually uninstall was the fact that every time I went to retrieve the dough from the mixer, UE4 crashed. I have played countless games which higher visual and hardware demands and have had zero crashes. Other games running on UE4 haven't had these issues.
Yet this game loves to randomly crash, freeze, stutter and just simply — not work! I'm lucky I got this in a sale, and I'm only out £1.21 but if you paid full price, don't bother keeping the game in your library. Get the refund. If you're thinking of buying this game, DON'T.
Developers really need to focus on everything that isn't working and fix it, before you even consider spending your hard earned money on this.
You don't want this game. There are a lot of bugs which you run into at the very start in the tutorial. Press the key it tells you to nothing happens...This bug will continue to haunt your game play non stop in both parts. The game is so disconnecting switching between driving and baking with loading screens in between each switch...like why? Give me a sell window so I can just Bake or a store front to sell my items not a poorly constructed pointless driving/delivery system.
This game hit the target but missed the bullseye by a lot. In other words, they would only get a participation trophy if it was a competition. 3/10
There's a lot of bug in this game. Once you finished all of the upgrade and contents, there has no challenging at all. Anyway, I still have no idea why they add the delivery scene to the game, but no adding more content. It doesn't make any sense. 🥲
Can't even get the game to run.
it was fun the first two days then its glitch city weird mesurements like 1.23 when it only goes in increments of 1 5 10 50 no points in the numbers. ingredients not counting towards recipe
i LOVE THIS GAME because i am a home baker myself! its very relaxing and fun. one thing though the BUGS. theres one bug that i do not like sometimes or ALL the time it never lets me put the doughnuts in the box or grab it and then put it in the box but other than that its a good game keep making great games!
in a good way it is a stressful stress reliever... i like it a lot.
Very buggy, I couldn't get past the tutorial because it wouldn't allow me to get a measuring cup or anything. Like the buttons/ controls don't work, which sucks because I wanted to bake:(
Complete the game in 10 hours. It was actually much more involved than I expected. It can feel a little clunky here and there but overall, I enjoyed it.
I sadly can't recommend this one, as while the game is interesting (I love the spice rack mechanic), once I got far enough into the game to be at the third bakery it decided to randomly put me back into an earlier one, which blocked my progress.
Maybe get it on a (deep) discount, but don't expect to be able to get too much playtime without losing your progress.
Runs poorly, crashes on low options and freezes when going to City. Refund!
i despise croissants now
theres a lot of annoying bugs and its basically a dead game atp but if it's on sale and youre looking for something to pass your time for a day or two then ig go fot it.

I've very much enjoyed every second of this game so it pains me to put this as a negative review.
The game is not optimized very well. When playing, it lags and freeze frames so often that the game is almost unplayable. When loading a new day or putting items into bins or what not, you have to be careful not to launch your items into oblivion. I launched my game and loaded my save and when it loaded, sheet trays were flying across the bakeshop, my mixing bowl was floating midair halfway across the room from where it was supposed to be.

Scoops are missing from tutorial cant complete tutorial, cant start game to see if they would be there. Cant play game don't recommend until they fix their glitches and bugs.
Fun game, definitely not worth full price. I have 100%'d the game, but it seems the achievement for unlocking all machines is bugged unfortunately. There was a bug with the driving but I think they fixed it pretty quickly. It's not bad gameplay but definitely feels like a sandbox and get's boring once you unlock everything.
Super fun, only problem is during the driving, my laptop makes a crashing noise, freezes for a minute then works fine with only the bottom left corner mini map blurry.
I loved this game! It was a relatively short game, but it was a fun time. I didn't care for the driving part cause it was a little finicky, but other than that, it was a great time.
I do highly recommend waiting for it to be on sale because $16 is a little steep for the amount of game play you get out of it.

why can't i make croissants without the dough flying everywhere and floating for no reason
the game constantly crashes which is a real shame because i would play this for hours on end if it wasn't so frustrating to restart

Fun and immersive game experiencing running a bakery. Enjoyed levelling up, getting better equipment upgrades, recipes s and expanding the bakery. I have to address a few issues though. Its been discussed in the forums, discord etc but you her
there's known bugs and errors I encountered. Do please check the discussion section for this game. Also the driving delivery mechanic is awful. Really minded myself of GTA 3 or earlier with a bad over the top, birds eye view, min map which isn't too clear and overall annoying controls that should be some yet it diverts a.over the lace. I suggest level up to unlock the delivery driver feature. i did enjoy it mostly though. I just wish the devs addressed known issues and had patches. (even two years on).

but 15$ is crazy for a game that has this many glitches
barely functional, tutorial soft locked me first time I went through it, the driving portion is one of the worst things I've dealt with in all of gaming, purchasable machines end up sabotaging you, weird day system, music is a 3 second loop that gets irritating almost immediately, weird mobile game tier time gating for no reason, can only do one order per day even though you get more than enough time to do many.
Probably the only even slightly positive thing I have to say is I got this game really cheap so I didn't waste a lot of money

Game is very enjoyable and fun for lovers of the kind, however there are some game breaking bugs that don't seem to be getting fixed any time soon. Would definitely recommend for a heavily discounted price.
i didn't have an oven for 5 years, this game has scratched an itch for me. i do not like how you cannot restart a day though and can only skip it

Honestly really calming and satisfying. The game is a little short to fully finish but the replay value is okay. Would recommend.
The game keeps crashing. I can finish the first part of the tutorial (baking the rolls) but when I get to the city part it crashes. I tried opening the game in safe mode and it did open the game quicker but it still froze after I clicked move to city. Would be a really fun game an id probably give it a really good rating if it worked. I saw other comments saying they have the same issue and a few said this game is an abandoned project. I would really like to play it! I probably had to wait around 30 minutes for my computer to unfreeze to open task manager. The times before that attempt I had to hold the power button on my computer to turn it off. I don't want to not recommend the game or anything but I want to post my comment truthfully.
There are some interface issues and I could really do without the manual delivery, or at least a perk to reduce the error rate of using a courier, but overall the game is enjoyable.
Pretty good game, consistent in what you learn and how you do things, but once you're fully upgraded, it turns into a sandbox kind of mode where you keep doing the same thing over and over again.
I enjoyed playing this game after I could fix/stop the crashing from occurring. Just follow the instruction under the discussion section. Some of the mini games has a few glitches: lagging, freezing. Just make sure that you don't have something baking or mixing without wifi when you are busy with a croissant or bagel mini game and you should be good. I would prepare them before actually starting the day. If you get stuck in a previous kitchen after delivery, just skip the day until you are back into your current bakery.
I legitimately left my position in bakery at my actual job and I come home to relax by playing this game. 10/10 donuts are the best thing to make.
I have found myself recently enamored by simulator games, probably because of the insanity in the everyday. This game is so calming and cute to play. The style and game play are exactly what I wanted. I truly recommend this Bakery Simulator to those of you who, like me, are stuck in the world of simulators.
Can be a little buggy but this is lots of fun. I enjoy making all the recipes and racing against the clock and I appreciate that I can get a delivery driver because I'm terrible at the driving part. The spices are a nice touch and I like all the different kinds of unlocks, from the level-based upgrades that lead to new recipes and new machine upgrades that you can buy to the reputation-based unlocks that give different kinds of perks. I'm not big on the customization but can see how that would be nice for some players.
I've seen a variety of bugs like the donut machine refusing to turn on when the temperature gets hot or the game forgetting that you're holding a baked good so you end up with less than you actually made. Right now my game has changed my 500 ml measuring implement to 495 ml for some reason which is totally annoying. But a lot of the bugs will go away if you relaunch or, worst case scenario, totally restart the game. I still find it worth it to play given I don't find the bugs to be all that prevalent. I've seen all these because I've played for 31 hours.
Got it on sale, for a real nice low price under £2. Would not recommend for full price.
I've been having a lot of fun and found it pretty chill.
For a while I was just doing one order at a time, even when I got the truck upgrade as I didn't realise I could click multiple orders before confirming.
That's when I got my first bug. Doing 4 -6 orders at once will make driving to destinations impossible for one of the orders. Hiring delivery is better, but it'll also bug and you'll need to skip a day to get new orders.
Overloading a machine like the croissant roller will have dough fly and vanish or become unreachable, so be careful with that. Also, doing a lot of orders at once made me lag quite a bit towards the end. Too many items perhaps.
But even so, I wouldn't say it makes it unplayable and it can be quite relaxing when you don't take on too much at once. Getting the game at a low cost also makes me more amenable to these bugs.
So that's why I recommend getting it on sale. Decent entertainment for the price.
ps, would have been nice if cookies, cakes and pies were options
Don't buy this. The devs abandoned this project and knowingly left behind a bunch of bugs, including several game breaking ones. If you do decide to get it, wait until it's on sale for less than $2, because that's really all it's worth now.
Cannot go past tutorial. At the driving portion the options do not respond. First to go back to the bakery doesn't work, then each time after the radial closing with esc doesn't work either. Grabbed on sale but was in middle of another game, so now too much time has passed to put in for a refund. Also grabbed it as a gift for my fiancee, so got screwed ver twice in on move. Fix your game, dev.
It's fun enough but it doesn't feel complete. There are tonnes of small bug and really jerky gameplay moments that take you out of an otherwise enjoyable core gameplay loop. Everything just could be done a little better. Get it on sale if you're interested. Not worth the full retail price.
Game is fun, but it has plenity of bugs, which makes it not so enjoyable.
Everything goes fine, until you start to having some nasty bugs, making pretzels, or when you have something in your hand but you don't see it, etc.
Overall, I would purchase this game as I did in a bundle and test it, if you like simulators.
