Overcooked 2 is the test of friendship, where throwing onions and shouting "Where's the plate?!" somehow turns chaos into pure joy.
I would have liked to see a steady increase of difficulty instead of a roller coaster ride of easy and difficult. Some levels definitely feel like they're in the wrong place in the story mode. It's sometimes infuriatingly difficult to hit the required score to progress, followed by a level where it feels way too easy. I definitely think that the pick up / put down function is a little buggy at times, as I have spent a few seconds hitting the key only for it to randomly register that i want to drop something and pick the item back up.
Other than that, the graphics are nice and it doesn't crash on the machines that I own.

I love this game it's great to play with long distance friends - if you have a good relationship XD.
This game has many enjoyable stages for playing with your spouse. Even if you have a long-distance relationship, buying each other copies allows for online co-op.
this is a good game to ruin friendships. buy this game to make their lives worse ;)
It's definitely a fun game to play with two people. You focus so much and you laugh a lot and you get super frustrated at times. Recommend :)

This game would destroy or strenght your friendship/relationship/whatever. Its a simple game with fun mecanics and some really good levels. The most remarkable aspect is the fealing of realization when you finish a level with 3 starts, after having a good fight with your friends.
Final thoughts:
Play with friends, have some fun, argue about that their strategy is really bad, then see that yours is the bad one. Also.... press always the sprint button to increase the fun.
This game is so fun to play with friends, and partners. I love yelling at my boyfriend in this game! :3
this game is super cute and fun in the beginning but for me personally it gets really repetitive really fast
much better if ur playing it on controller sitting on a couch with family/friends (extends games lifespan)

please only get this on discount since it really is not worth the 22$ (spend the rest on food or vbucks)
Fun and silly slap stick shenanigans. Difficult even with 4 players.
Don't play locally with your relatives unless you're prepared to restrain yourself from punching them. We've somehow avoided that disaster so far, but even with all the yelling about what to do and everyone falling off the map, we still have a blast running our chaotic kitchen.
This game is easily one of the best co-op games and I'd looked forward to playing it since I saw a let's play on Youtube! It's been a long time coming... From the original Overcooked!, the difficulty has been kicked up a notch. With various mechanics and plenty of level map restrictions, it plays by a player's strengths and weaknesses. The plot and dialogue is hilarious as always and the levels have some unexpected mechanics that *warning* may cause chaos but it's all fun until it's not lmao. Overall a great experience, plenty of challenges and content, 11/10
i loved hitting my friends with uncut beef and getting yelled at to stop throwing uncut beef. i'm trying to stock the kitchen with beef, how about you move out of the way of my chucking chuck, huh? (i was in the wrong but say that to the beef in my hand)
anyway our trio 3-starred every main level in this game and managed to not lose our friendship over it. great stuff
Best co-op game to play with friends. It's fun, it's lighthearted, it's hectic. I love it.
This is the perfect game to play with a family or friend. Great teamwork and fun competition.
The game is fun and addicting. It can be easy for newbies, non-gamer players. It can be hard for try-hard gamers with lots of skills, management and tricks. Anyway it’s a really fun game to play with friends, girlfriend or your wife. For example, my wife is a non-gamer who is not used to play mobile game like candy crush. However, after playing 4-5 games, she got hooked into the game and now she asked me to find similar games for us to play together.
However the game is pretty old and buggy. For example, each time you exit the game, you have to choose your chef again. And you have to choose your extra contents (DLC) to play again, or else it’ll jump back to the base game.
Also there’s a problem with syncing the game save. I finished the whole game on one PC. But when I logged into my other laptop (Macbook), it said I haven’t played the game at all. And there’s a problem with cross-platform. Somehow I’m playing on Macbook (M1, mind you, which is native), and my wife on Windows. And we cannot play together. So I have to use VMware to play the game on Windows, which is a bit laggy.
Kinda good and addicting, but too many bugs.

One of my favorite co-op games. No bullshit. You get great, increasingly difficult, levels that require you and your homie to find ways to corporate to get those 3 stars. Most of the levels you can get 3 stars pretty easily, some might take a few tries, but it's not hard to do. You unlock a 4th star after beating the game, with every level a 3 star. And those are fuckin hard. That 4th star it a bitch. Other than that, I gotta commend that level design. It always keeps things interesting. Whether it be through level design, new recipes, or a combination of both. This game is just simply good. If it's on sale and you have a friend, I highly recommend. Really worth it's price tag.
Quite a negative experience overall. The game doesn't support gamepads on Mac even though it pretends it does in the UI.
When playing random mode, necessary things are placed in unreachable squares so the levels are often unplayable.
This game is really addicting, especially for cooking people. Would definitely recommend even if you don't like cooking.
if you love time managing games also like to play with your friends then this game is definitely for you!!! the only down side was i wasnt able to connect my controllers to it, had a difficult time syncing but it worked! cute design, nicely implemented levels, upbeating music and great graphics! 10/10
Each playthrough of this game will significantly shorten your lifespan. I am currently on my third playthrough.

This game instantly reminded me of those Big Fish games, which I loved so much. The overall quality of this game definitely deserves a thumb up, it's 100% children friendly as well. I think it's much better playing co-ops with this game, but there's no public option within this game tho, playing solo is just another Big Fish game with less romantic stories lol.
All's fun in love and war. Its like monopoly where you have to tell yourself its just a game lol. Enjoyed playing with 4 players and even 2 players. Over all nice challenging game for family and friends.

Super fun to play with others. It gives you rage sometimes though, cause it gets difficult - but that's the purpose. Thanks to my cousin's for inviting me to play during the sale.

I was very excited to play this game with my twin. The first few games were fine. However, we encountered a few problems. My twin kept on disconnecting. We initially thought it was our internet connection. We share the same WIFI. While this was going, we can call through discord just fine. It is a very good game esp for a COOP game but as we kept disconnecting we got frustrated. WISH THEY FIX THIS PROBLEM.
Very fun game and I love kevin, but im really peeved that cross platform with PC and consoles isnt in this one. Why add it to OC:AYCE if the other games dont have it??
Amazing game with such a simple concept. I like how much strategising and coordination it requires even though its just a cooking game. Good for multiplayer mostly. Hard to find matches if I play alone.
Easily one of the best multiplayer games on the market. From the ups to the downs, Overcooked 2 is definitely a great game to play with friends or family. (if you have family, I was abandoned at the doorstep)
In our lord's year of 2024 they still have not fixed the connection issue. Not even an option to join back to the session in case you get disconnected.

This COULD be a fun game. However, I always get frustrated, because the levels get too crazy too fast. I wish they would slowly get harder as you went and instead have DLC with the crazier levels. The first level is pretty chill, but once you get to the second and third level, it's too much.
One of the best Gordon Ramsay simulators to play with your friends. Overcooked 2 tests your nerves and friendship, but also generates lots of funny moments.

I do NOT recommend playing this with a SO... As she ended up screaming at me in 5 different emotions over a missed order.

This game is the perfect party game! It's amazing playing with friends local or online, it's really made for that propose.
But it's also very fun to play alone. You just don't need to take it too serious, or you can loose some friends lol
