great for playing with friends. Stressful moments of friendship tested by this game alone.

This is a fun game. I play with my wife on PC and haven't had any issues. We also play using an Xbox and PS5 controller with no compatibility issues.

If you haven't played the original, you probably want to start there. This game to me is worse than the original.
Good:
- Fun for playing with groups
- More Overcooked
- More options
- Runs on about anything

Bad:
- Level design over uses moving elements. These are great for sometimes, but overuse makes them gimmicky in this version.
- Doesn't bring much new to the table
- Can be frustrating when just looking for a relaxing game to play with those not that deep into gaming

Overall a strong recommendation, but only if you have played the original with DLC and are just looking for more levels.

Game is insanely fun when playing couch co-op. Improves upon the first game in many ways!

IT'S FREAKING RAAAAWW! If you can't handle the heat get out MY kitchen. This is not the game to gentle parent your friends to. This. Is. War. The necronomnom wars to be exact. You either get with the program or you're swimming with the unbread!

fun game, but you need friends to play it. solo play isn't bad but it isn't good either.

Played with my online friend, got sore throat after constant yelling with each other because of panicking. Would recommend. 10/10 game. 👍

It's fun, challenging. The whole point is teamwork, so I understand why it's harder to do everything solo.

Great game to destroy relationships. JK, the game is still fire tho. Liked everything including each argue with a friend I've played it. By the end of the day, you would anyway love the spent time playing this game together (and than hate one another xd).

The first Overcook is great and fun. Most stages are very fun to play on but Overcooked! 2 no. Every stage feels more like a chore than a fun thing to do. You keep playing boring stage after boring stage until you play one that is fun that goes to fast. I don't recommend. Stick to the first game. It is a lot better.

fun game to play with your partner but be prepared to rage at each other, especially fun to go back and 3/4 star levels once you finish main campaign and DLC def worth it

i did play this game with my boyfriend, and its good,fun game to play, even sometimes it makes us shout eachother xd. its my first game that i played with my boyfriend and we finished it together. ı recommend it. also there is a huge talent difference between me and my bf, but in this game we did good job together. te amo bebishcolata <3

If you are a beginner, I definitely recommend either playing with friends or completing the main game by yourself. The animations are adorable. This is a great game that gave me many great moments with my friends. I'm glad I finally bought it myself. Some of the mechanics aren't intuitive (unable to stack clean plates but able to stack dirty dishes), but they don't take away from the amazing gameplay.

Highly Recommended!!! You should play this game with your friends. it's all fun and games till all hell breaks loose. Each stage is slightly different and comes with its own set of challenges so it doesn't feel repetitive.

There was a stage where we were separated and I helplessly watched as my friend's side of the kitchen was fully engulfed in fire and they were struggling to put it out the whole time we played that stage 😭

I used to play the original overcooked years ago. Great memories of that game and so I bought this one. I was going to play it solo but a friend ended up having it too. I've now completed it both solo and with them, haven't gotten all four stars yet but we're making our way through it.

I will say, if you're planning on getting it, it's worth it to check if a friend also has it. The game is way more fun with a friend, easier too. You'll rage at least once, some of the levels are just that difficult. The controls are quite easy and you can change key binds to make it easier.

I've not bought any DLCs for this game, nor do I own the original overcooked. But I have bought overcooked! all you can eat. It comes with both overcooked, overcooked! 2, and as far as I'm aware, all their DLCs. If you know you'll love this game and have someone to play with, overcooked! all you can eat, might be more worth it, especially on sale.

This game is much more fun when you play by yourself and avoid the imminent destruction of any social bond you put through this game. Singleplayer mode allows you to become the sole reason of all your faults. Just like in real life.

Fun restaurant rush style couch game.

If your friend has it on Epic Games, you guys can still play via the Steam version's "crossplay" branch. It requires changing one setting, just look it up.

I haven't played Overcooked in almost two years but it got me out of an awful friendship back then, so it deserves a recommendation just for that.

Picked up this game on a friend’s recommendation, we all shared some silly moments in this game ‘you and i, team coop or die.’ Get pranked or prank the others by trashing cooked dishes, being troll when blaming on the other one.

this game is amazing for people who want to bond their friendship or relationship together. pretty fun to playwith friends or family , but kind of difficult and tough if youre playing it alone on your own. really is challenging! (on pc)

Rlly fun. It is a multi-player game, but I have been playing it on my own, and still obsessed with it. Definitely more fun if you play with someone else, but also fun and challenging for single player!

This game is really fun and stressful at times. If you don't have friends, it will be less fun and WAY more stressful. This game is so much better with friends but even if you don't have any, it's still very enjoyable.

I think the game is fun to play with friends and really funny, yet, I think the whole balancing falls flat the more you progress and tasks get more complicated to where it's frustrating than fun to manage. If you only have one person to play it with, I'd say consider a different game.

Bottomline: A fun couch game. If you are into the cooking theme, then the various cuisine style gameplay will give you hours of fun. But I do recommend playing with a friend, otherwise, the campaign can get very annoying as most stages are created to be played with minimum 2 players in mind. The DLCs are also a great addition and would recommend.

i really enjoy this game because it has allowed to to express my feelings deep inside and i still have more to come. Thereofre i do suggest.... no i dont suggest I DEMAND???? bad things will happen if you dont alg kid. but im so serious this game is swag i got so many huzzes with this game and it really helped me evolve... just as a person in the future i could probably recreate a game similiar to this for others to enjoy for FREE i'd be doing a service as a good person and musli\m subhanallah

A very classic two-player game that is very enjoyable.
But I think some of the map designs do make the game difficult, and that does take some of the joy out of it if you're very much looking for the win.
