Добиться от противника ценных ресурсов можно разными способами: вовремя отступить, уклониться от атаки, обмануть, очаровать или напугать. Порой смекалка и быстрая реакция важнее грубой силы.
Зелья — волшебное подспорье, но многим чудовищам они нипочем. Не стоит сразу изводить свои запасы. Грамотно используйте в бою окружение и других монстров, иначе очень скоро вы окажетесь один на один с разъяренным чудищем без единого эликсира в сумке.
Ремесло зельевара — дело непростое. И прежде чем приготовить первый эликсир, Луне потребуется собрать ингредиенты. Благо, бабушка и добрые друзья помогут юной колдунье на трудном пути: обучат ее полезным навыкам и новым рецептам. А благодаря любви к экспериментам и открытиям коллекция бутыльков вскоре пополнится чудесными зельями.
Уникальная система крафтинга построена на комбинации различных ингредиентов, которые можно отыскать в 7 природных зонах. Экспериментируя с сочетаниями стихий, вы сможете приготовить более 100 уникальных зелий с особыми свойствами.
Местные земли полны загадок и головоломок. В их решении вам пригодятся смекалка и целый арсенал волшебных зелий. А бабушка (опытная ведьма и потомственный зельевар) и кот Гелиос (ваш верный фамильяр) всегда придут на помощь в трудную минуту.
Взрослеть сложно. И далеко не все подростковые проблемы можно решить волшебством. На пути становления настоящим зельеваром Луна не раз попадет в историю и повстречает множество героев, знакомых вам по мифам и сказкам. В компании саркастичного фамильяра она наберется опыта и усвоит важные жизненные уроки: уважение нужно заслужить, не всем советам стоит верить, а взрослые порой тоже ошибаются.

A cozy little puzzle game that gives you the chance to be a potions master and have adventures.
Really relaxing and fun! I'm new to gaming so not really sure what else to put, I'm not very good but I think the mechanics are easy and the look is super cute. Can't believe one person made this so crazy. Pop off queen <3

Quite nice simple adventure game with a bit of Simon the sorcerer vibe.
Luna is a cute character, but the game is painfully slow, painfully simple and poor Luna is painfully vulnerable to creatures such as hostile mushrooms (or mushdooms?). There are a host of different potions to be made by using a various material discovered - the game strongly focuses here - but even this becomes a little too "routine" after an hour or so game play. I did however like the element of mythology creeping into the picture as more cards were found. Sorry, but I feel the game is unfortunately disappointing and would not recommend.

A fun, cute game! The combinations were fun to work out and not always resorting to combat made for some clever parts of the game.
Enjoyable, relaxing fantasy adventure game. Core potion crafting mechanic reminded me of good old days with alchemy on mobile phones. Gameplay tends to get repetitive and the level design is sometimes lacking towards the end, but the story is enjoyable enough to justify reaching the end credits.
A map could be useful though, to navigate around locations when planning on doing 100% completion.

Cute game to play if you're looking for something chill to pass the time. Controls are unfortunately clunky and it comes out a lot more when you're in an area with a lot of enemies that you need to react quickly to. Could use some QoL changes like easier navigation between menus and eliminating the need to constantly reactivate the broom after picking up an item. Overall lacks some polish but given this was produced by a small indie studio it's forgivable. Main story doesn't overstay its welcome and I enjoyed messing around in potion crafting to see what I could make. A fun little experience if you enjoy witchy games
TLDR: While young kids might enjoy this game, I felt many of the mechanics and aspects of the world failed to keep me engaged.

Content (Game world/Narrative/Length) – [3/10]
Game World: Potions: A Curious Tale (PACT) takes place in what seems to be a sort of medieval fantasy setting. The game world takes place on smallish maze-like maps where you control your 2D sprite. There is also an overhead map where I found it incredibly convenient to travel to the exact zone I wanted to…when I actually knew where I was supposed to be going.
The world itself is not great looking. PACT feels very much like a Flash game, and this extends to all parts of it - controls, UI, and of course the world. There are many elements like water and lava that just look like a PS1 game.
Narrative: The narrative is pretty lighthearted, almost to the point where I’d call the protagonist naive. You play as Luna, an apprentice alchemist who has come to visit her grandmother and learn more of the craft. As you progress through the story, you meet many classic fairy tale tropes such as Snow White and Baba Yaga.
I felt the story was just too boring and juvenile for my tastes. I am definitely not the target demographic for this game.
Length: I made it almost to the end of the game after 3.5 hours. Therefore, I would assume the main story and some side quests to be around 5-7 hours.
Gameplay (Mechanics/Difficulty) – [3/10]
Mechanics: The general mechanics of PACT consist of gathering ingredients to make potions while doing your quests. There are 4 main ingredient types - fire, earth, wind, and water. You collect materials that supply a small amount of a specific type. Three ingredients then make a single potion. There must be something like 30+ potions to make. Most of the ones I made were just slightly different forms of damage or CC with some major interactions with the environment. For example, needing a fire potion to burn ice/trees, or a water potion to grow vines to climb.
You use the various potions for simplistic combat - you just throw a potion and it does something. I found the combat to be awful. Many times I would be out of the animation for the hit, but still take damage. Also just to even engage in combat, you must use potions which cost ingredients. Adding in the fact that you must constantly make more potions and monsters respawn on zone change means that I tried to actively avoid combat. The more combat I did, the more potions I needed and more ingredients I had to have. I did not find the paltry enemy drops to be sustainable at all, so it's best to just run away from everything possible on your broom.
I don’t like how due to some annoyances with ingredients and enemy respawns that it's better to avoid mechanics in the game. Avoiding mechanics due to the limitations of core mechanics is bad game design to me.
Difficulty: I found the game ridiculously easy. Like the kind of challenge that Lebron James would have if he was playing high school basketball. Again, I am not the demographic for this game.
Graphics (Quality/Performance) – [2/10]
Quality: The graphics in PACT are not the best. Kind of like a flash game. I wonder if the game has engine limitations due to things like graphical issues (lack of v-sync), bad animations, and bad backgrounds. I tried to google and see if it was a Unity game, but couldn’t find any info. Regardless, PACT does not have any graphical prowess or options to improve the game, only limit it. I also had a big issue with the UI. This screenshot says more than I can about the look and feel of PACT:

My one redeeming comment for this section is the artwork is just decent enough, but does appear as though its a bit simplistic and out of a children’s book.
Performance: Aside from screen tearing issues, I had no problems running this game.

Audio (Sound Effects/Music) – [2/10]
Sound Effects: Nothing of real note. Very simplistic.
Music: Most of the music is forgettable. The town song did stick in my head a bit, but that might be because you’re there so often for zone swapping.
Replay Factor (Longevity) – [2/10]
While I didn’t finish the game, I wouldn’t give this a high mark. As far as I understand, after finishing the short ~7 hour game, the only thing left is achievements, potion combinations, and card collection puzzles.
Final Verdict – [3/10]
I decided to give this a 3 instead of a 2 solely for the kind developer helping people in the forums with bugs and issues. Look, I’m NOT the target demographic for this game, but I felt I should review it anyway for others that are curious (pun not intended) on what this game provides. What PACT gives you is a whimsical and simple adventure that I would have adored if I was much younger. I would recommend this to be a great game for children or even parents to play with their kids.
It’s almost like the Hungry Caterpillar or Clifford the Big Red Dog type of storybook. Kids might love this game. Not me.
