This is a good game, a little hard to handle at first but we must not get discouraged. This is not the game of the year but for the price and the music and the difficulty that's perfect for me. Warning the PS4 controller is not crazy.

TLDR: Does not recognize inputs correctly. Character behaves incoherently. Retro art direction unappealing.
I tried with controller and keyboard - the inputs didnt do what they were supposed to going sideways had my character fire going the other direction worked... etc
Otherwise this is just a variation on the lumberjack type game where you have to be at the right place and push a button at the right time

I don't get it. this is more like a "learn 10 finger system" training program... well with 6 keyboard keys only.
simply you use 6 keyboard keys and shoot monsters of 3 colors, they come up 2 different lines and you then shoot them with a corresponding color... its like upside down space invaders with color specific weaponry and only 2 lines of enemies.
if you want simple and bad... go for it.
Kinda fun and addictive, is kinda ruined by the fact it hasn't been patched in months, half the achievements are bugged and half the characters are locked for now. Doesn't look like any of the content missing is going to be patched in any time soon.
You know, this is actually a pretty fun game. I mean, it's not the most amazing thing in the world but it's responsive, well-paced, though a little fast. It's not the most complex game in the world, but I like how it works. It's a decent game
If you're using a controller, this game is crazy difficult; but if you use the keyboard, just spam the keys to zap both sides of the tower with full force.
I played for a few minutes doing that, got bored, then let the game run in the background for eight hours to unlock the steam trading cards.
If you can get the game for a quarter, then try it out; otherwise, just walk away.
Damn this game is sooo hard... its still enjoyable though if you have patience :)

Despite its less than stellar start, I once believed in this game. A tutorial should have been provided before the game's release, but they finally added one. When I confronted the devs, they said that they would add more customization for the controls. Well, that was months ago. Like Contagion, I'm starting to believe that these changes will never come.

Ok, so I've just played this game for 5 minutes and found 3 major flaws.
First, the instructions of this game play makes no sense, expecially if you play it with a joystick. You need to actually press the joystick on the middle, or the R1 to kill green goblins.
Second, the UI is... confusing. Instead of displaying the word 'menu' or 'continue', it uses colors and symbols. Maybe to the developer it was obvious, but for us it's not.
Finally and not the least, it is incredibly buggy as hell. It will work when it wants to.
But, BUT. The gameplay itself is not that terrible, considering those other games that actually make you feel sick in your stomach. If you get a 50% discount coupon, eh, give it a shot. Sometimes we need to play so-so mediocre games in our lives.
the game is geting better but still has some flaws it's fun for a little bit i like playing it will netfilx on so i dont get bored the game is worth the price tho
The game is great, you wanna use a controller or change the inputs(if youuse a keyboard) or else you cant play the game, it's alot of buttun smashing and fun. 1000000000/10 -totallynotIGN
Even if its only $2, you won't get much out of this game. I saw the trailer and thought "This looks like a game I can play when I'm bored or waiting." Instead, I get an experience where you can mash all the buttons for either side to get unbelievable far in the game
a small addictave game that is not that hard once you get it and really kinda cool to just keep seeing the upgrades and getting higher scores everytime but to see just a little game play check out this thing bellow :p

Terrible. The controls are so convoluted & there is not even a hint of a tutorial within the game. I had to check the "About This Game" section of this page & after that I was able to find out that the only button worth a damn were the R&L bumbers. I successfully jumped from a whopping 2 point high score to an 18 with this new found knowledge. I was then congratulated for my piss poor score. This leads me to believe the devs didn't think anyone was going to make it much further than my piddly effort.
Considering a refund.
It is a very well made game, I could play it for a long while. It is also good for making videos on.
