Started in the age of the Amiga 500, this game was featured in Amiga format and Commodore User - two of the largest gaming magazines of the time. A series of unfortunate events prevented this space shooter to get finished. We plan to do that now!

Game story:
"Towards the end of the interstellar wars, chaos spread and one band of elite mercenaries acted more like pirates and looters than actual soldiers. The leader of this group was the notorious and infamous Colonel Nestor.
Without a doubt the biggest prize of their looting campaigns was the Spacemachine: a device designed to terraform barren planets and making them habitable. With this device, and the rest of their treasure, Nestor and his men started to build an army that now poses a great threat to the known star systems.
Mission: Bring back the Space Machine."

I really wanted this to be good but unfortunately it’s far from it. From the lack of proper settings and questionable game design options like having the dialogue window overlapping the gameplay and repeating at every restart/replay or not properly displaying your or enemies’ stats to broken achievements, almost no currency (basically you need to play the same segment forever in order to get some money to try new weapons) and ridiculous final boss (artificial difficulty just to pretend it’s a difficult game), this game it’s a hard pill to shallow.
It starts relatively OK but it gets worse and worse. Save your time and money, it’s not worth it.
Can`t give this a positive review as the achievements do no longer work from the date of my purchase and have held on for over a year in the hope the development team fix this issue..
The game it self is a great throw back from the 90s and plays as you expect.
However i buy theses title's with replay value witch for me is achievements or online leader board.
The store page has information saying this has achievements but they are all broken.
Fun little throwback to Genesis-era shmups.
Achievements are bugged, though :(
A fun shootemup game that has a lot of challenge to it and some puzzle elements too. A little tricky with a keyboard and I am sure even better with a controller.

Bought for that old school R-Type itch.
I simply HATE to vote down a (otherwise good) game for that, but is has no volumecontrol / mute-function at all.
• retro style scroll shooting
• no key binding, arrow keys , space and esc
• achievement seem broken;
• 2 hidden stages? read forum
• game ended on "Nestor" but there another stage "Omega" which is so hard!!!. Din't finish the Omega as my weapon are not fully upgraded, just too lazy to farm for coins, not worth the time
