CHECK OUT THE HORROR GAME FROM CLOCK WIZARD GAMES
About the Game
My grandmother, Aras and I were living in an old house when I was a kid. This weird house which we lived with our grandmother for long years was located in a narrow street and it has all of our memories. Some nights, there was just pure silence in the house. Happenings that we couldn't explain would occur in those nights, objects would change places frequently, and sometimes we would feel something passing by the door. One day, when I was passing by my grandmother's room, I noticed a small chest.
I reached for it but my grandmother got angry and hit my hand.
I had never seen my grandmother that angry before. And I never saw that chest again.

This is very decent, I'm surprised at the low rating. It takes just over 90 minutes to complete but most of that is of commendable quality.
Now to start with the negatives, I found the story a bit of a yawn. The notes you find are overwritten, and poorly translated at that. The spoken word pieces in the cutscenes are generally briefer, more coherent, and with altogether pretty good voice acting. It's just a shame the overall story is a bit pants. The main thing you need to know is there are 3 doors to another dimension you need to close, the game should have just established that and left it at that.
And the quality is a bit uneven. The starting area in a house is the most disappointing. It's very dark, not really that scary, and you're just going around collecting items to unlock the next area. I can see why this would put people off. But then it opens as you enter the next main area which has a mixture of indoor and outdoor pieces, which is where you'll spend the majority of your time. It features an upping of the dread and creep factor, combined with altogether more interesting exploring and more light to see by.
The final area back indoors keeps that quality up, although it's very short, but also with the most and effective jumpscares which got me pretty good for the most part.
Also props must be given to the sound design which was pretty good throughout.
So all in all, it won't change your world, but if you see it on sale it's certainly worth a look-in if you're a horror aficionado.
No70: Eye of Basir
This game actually gave me a few good scares, and i loved it!
Now tbh it doesn't require much to get me with a jumpscare but still.
Story was well put together, it had me interested along the way.
The whole game had a correct feel to it.
It's a really small game studio. So I support that kind of jobs. Graphics are really good, atmosphere, sounds, effects are good. Turkish dub is a bit odd but English dub is good. Story... meh kind of relatively We can count it as a good one. Game designs are bad. I mean It is always asking for something really far away for open the doors. Scenario is good but sometimes It's not comes you scary because There is no shooting action in it. Always throwing jump scares. With shooting actions this scenario might be much much better.
Generally you can try at least...
When you look at the screenshots to the game you will think it looks great but what you get is anything but it is very dark and the flashlight is like a candle you will not be able to go into settings to change the gamma or brightness as there is no settings.
A solid NO. Tried to play this game 3 times over the past couple of years: 1st it would crash at startup, 2nd the brightness was off (had to mess with the gamma settings), 3rd and last strike - it took a large dump on all my progress on chapter 1 (since there's no saving system in place) since I probably exited without getting to chapter 2...
No70: Eye of Basir Made in Turkey
I bought this one year ago. So sad about it when i finished, because No: 70 can stand proudly as a unique and terrifying horror game. The horror is really atmospheric, because you never know when you're going to be chased by something or something is gonna pop up.Unlike many modern horror games, it remembers that the most frightening unseen things are those that you can't fight. Game Development is hard in our country. But after this game, I'm so proud of you guys. This is valuable production for us. I'm in love with soundtracks. Turn off the lights, wear your headset and turn up the volume for the best experience. If you like horror games, you won't regret it.I hope to see games like No70 in Turkey again. I really wanna know more about Somnia.:))
That was a magneficent experience guys!
Thank you.
N070:Eye Of Basir
Is a first person horror/adventure base game with some puzzles involved in it.The game play is okay but involves a lot of back tracking with the puzzles so it can get pretty repetitive really fast which for some people equals BORING GAME. The visuals are decent, the game optmization is decent but has a fps cap of 63 which is fine by me. The achievements are easy and pretty striaght forward except for one of them.
I personally thought the game wasn't scary at all, and I've played a fare share of horror games in the past. The game is farely short 2 hours or so in length to complete the whole game. In all the price of $6.69 CAD isn't that expensive for this game and the game isn't that bad and it's worth a playthrough. But if you have other games to play and aren't in a big rush to play this game I would say wait for a sale to buy this title as I was able to get it for $3.00 not bad CAD.
Pro:
Steam Trading Cards
Steam Achivements
Decent Visuals
Puzzels
$Price$ not expensive
Con:
game lacks more scare
A lot of back tracking
Good looking walking simulator with some easy item based puzzles. I enjoyed it for the most part, only the backtracking sucked.
Scared the shit out of me. I just closed it, until spring when it's sunny and horror games aren't that scary. Indie guys made it good.
Rough around the edges.
Terrible default graphics settings. It was foggy and unclear (inside). I experimented until I got it to a decent place. By doing so I nearly made the world black and white and while I preferred it over the fogginess I was bummed to not have much color. It did grow on me because of the old-timey feel.
The other place it falls short is storytelling. The plot can be difficult to follow.
I liked finding needed items, backtracking, and progressing. This game also does jump scares right. It might have the best I've experienced so far. They're not too frequent, they're not obnoxious, they hit all the right checkboxes to be creepy and no matter what they always managed to catch me off guard.
Overall, I enjoyed it despite the imperfections.
Pretty nice walking simulator with good adventure mechanics, hope to see more interactive content and actual puzzles soon.
It's a nice eerie 'walk simulator'. I like the atmosphere, the leveldesign, the sounds.
The Basir (a little lense that allows to detect hidden things) is an interesting gameplay element.
But there are also things i would like to criticize:
-The game seems not to save changed settings like the resolution.
-Some level parts have a to intense graphical gray filter in my opinion.
-There should be more save points.
-Some objects can easily overseen. This provokes a lot of backtracking and detail search.
-Cutscenes can't be skipped.
-The story feels a bit random and chaotic.
-There are only a few mediocre jumpscares who not really fits the story.
-A bit to short for this price.
Frustrating!! There is a lot of backtracking and you need a good eye to see 'puzzle' objects. Spoiler alert: Sometimes the puzzle objects don't spawn so you will spend a lot of time looking for things that don't exist.
In order to complete this game you have to REALLY want to play it so much that you are able to stay motivated through all the BS to make it to the end. I respect the good reviews of this game that others have left. They must be living saints. <3
I picked this up for 60% off($4) and while the price isn't terrible, I was unable to garner any enjoyment from this title. I still feel like I overpaid. :(
This game has a ton of potential and I see it as a missed opportunity to make something really spooky and fun. At first, I didn't mind all the backtracking because I was in a small house. Translations were good and the voice acting was amazing. The atmosphere was perfect in the first chapter but then quickly fades once you move on to the next and have to spend an inordinate amount of time scouring every inch of certain areas to find often tiny objects to move on. And here is the crappy part: sometimes they don't even spawn. So you could be like me and spend over an hour searching an area only to find out that the object was never even there to begin with and you can't continue the game because it is literally impossible to move on without that item. WTF.
I have a weird nitpick about the controls. It felt like there were too many ways to interact with things? You could use 'E' to activate the lights, and left mouse click to pick things up or examine them.... and you also had to use the letter 'F' to pick things up too? Flabbergasting. Keep it simple.
I found that running was also painfully slow. With the amount of backtracking you have to do, it would be really nice to be able to do it quickly. Forcing your players to move slowly doesn't add horror, it just artificially pads the play time which only serves to frustrate people even more.
At some point in the second chapter I became really short. Like 3 feet tall and I couldn't really interact with anything or see much. Not sure if that is supposed to be normal or not.
The save system is kind of a nightmare when you consider all the back tracking and bugs. You can't save manually so you are forced to repeat the same backtracking without being able to move very quickly. For people like me who sometimes only have about 30 minutes to play, this is a disaster. But I digress.
I feel like this game could have been really great if it didn't feel like a chore to play. I would be interested in trying other games by these Devs becuase I feel like there is a lot of potential here. It was just poorly delivered.
I can't really review the game play in this game for the simple reason is that I can't play it. The mouse repeatedly stops working even in just trying to adjust the game settings. One would think this kind of problem would have been discovered and fixed pretty quickly. The mouse works fine for all other Steam games
So I liked the game. It had good graphics, decent game play and mechanics. Ran smoothly. My only complaints on the game are this.. The story line was off a bit. I wasn't exactly sure who I was playing and what was really going on. I think you change characters in the chapters but it does not really say that is what is going on. It does not fully make you aware of what is going on in this realm and what you are doing here. It could be more immersive with more story filled in. Just my opinion. You can watch my playthrough on my youtube channel at the link below. I am not trying to be too critical with the game because I liked it. But I just feel like I lost the story.

A beautiful puzzle game with a story about the occult, mind you that the puzzles include walking back and foward and thats most of it, theyre not hard you just have to explore a lot and its always interesting to see what new sections open up after you solve them.
7/10- Some extra sounds when walking and background noise would make it more atmospheric, a bit more of voice acting also wouldnt hurt it and few tweaks are also in need for some flickering textures when theyre far away from the player (especially the glass textures).
End Game Edit: The game is really long (wich is not very common for these types of games) and the story is interesting. My suggestions remain the same but now after seeing the end of the main story i would give it a score of 8/10 with a possible 9/10 after the above mentioned tweaks and after some loose ends get tied in the promised free DLC.
Actually game is not bad but just need to be improved.Story was short but more dlc will come soon so we can see the all story when it is released for free. For now my point is 7/10
I first knew of this game in the no longer existed Greenlight, and since then I had been expecting it to come out, not only because I'm a sucker for this type of games, but more importantly, the look of it somehow gave me an impression that it could potentially be the next "Vanishing of Ethan Carter", or at least a small-budget one (don't even know why I came up with this thought). However, as it turned out, my expectation had been terribly unrealistic, the acutal game was a big let down for me.
In my opinion, No70: Eye of Basir is a mediocre, atmospheric first personal exploration game, by mediocre, I mean nothing of it is either unique or impressive. It has a "puzzle" tag, but most of the puzzles in this game (honestly, all of them) are just fetch quest involving tons of backtracking - you go find an item, bring it somewhere, use it to trigger something, go find another item, continue the loop till you get to watch a final cutscene and that's all the gameplay for a chapter. It also has a "horror" tag, but this is even more inaccurate - there are about 3 or 4 jumpscares in the whole game and that's all the "horror" you will get from it, the rest of the game you will be walking in a slow speed (running is just slightly faster than walking) with nothing exciting happen. There's no tension, there's no any threat or danger, only jumpscares, this is not enough if you really want to create a horror atmosphere. To be honest, playing this game for 2 hours made me sleepy and irritated just like watching the first Friday the 13th movie. I know the horror genre is probably the hardest one to handle, so it's acceptable that the game failed to deliver such thing, but I hope the devs could learn from the good examples and get the right ideas, since this is their first game, I suppose.
One thing that annoyed me the most were the cutscenes in this game. I mean, the opening one was pretty good, but the others were just so slow! You'll have to wait for like 15 seconds after the voiceover ends with nothing happen untill the screen slowly fade to black, and guess what, you can't skip any of them. I think the devs wanted to make their game appear to be more cinematic, but they still need to have more experiences with that. The game has a story to tell, and I can certainly appreciate the attempt, but all the backtracking and slow walking just worn me out, as a result, I don't think I get the whole story, all those notes just went right through my mind and gone.
Although I've been criticizing this game from the beginning, it still has some redeeming features. The soundtrack is alright, which makes the game to be kind of immersive (before you get tired of the game, apparently). The voice acting is acutally quite good, probably the best part of the game I think. The graphic could be better, considering this is made with UE4, but at least it seems that the devs made most of the assets by themselves, which should be encouraged.
I only got to realize that this is a Turkish game after I first saw the menu all in Turkish, although I had already set the language to English before launching the game, so I had to change the language based on my gaming instinct and it was a bit counterintuitive to say the least. I also noticed that lots of positive reviews were already posted less than half a day after the game was released, and honestly, I found quite a few of them to be insincere, which always happens, I know. I just wish people could stop making misleading positive comments for a game solely because it is made by their friends or some people from their country and bashing those who say anything "bad" about it. I don't care who makes the game, I just care about the quality that's all. If you've played enough games, any type of games in general, you'll know which is good and which is not. Only by accpecting reasonable criticisms may you be improved.
Overall, my experience with No70: Eye of Basir was disappointing and frustrating, not enjoyable as excepted, but I still hope the devs would keep on working and learning, so that they can bring us better games sometime in the future.
This game has potential. Good graphics, acceptable sounds but insufficient storytelling. I can say that the previous sentence is the current brief summary of the game. We will see how future DLC's will affect the game.
For now my score for this game 7/10
