This isn't a flight simulator, my ears are in pain from the soundtrack, please save me.
Not much to do and boring. Constant bugs.
MME. GUSTA
*plane crashes*
It is not a simulator but a nice little game.
I bought this as a fucking joke, jesus christ HOLY HELL IT IS FUCKING SHIT
I was actually looking for this kind of game, to fly and make deliveries so that I could zone out and relax sort of like Solo Flight from the olden days. But this was disappointing. The controls are rudimentary and there's no HUD or cockpit other than something bizarre, and I didn't see a way to remap keys or even view the keys other than mash everything on the keyboard until something happened. I landed at an airport to pick up a package, and didn't really see an acknowledgement that I got the package. I assume I did. All you can do at the airport is click on gas or click on the plane area. Why bother implementing the walking to do these things? The flight itself was a bit wonky, it seemed to sometimes want to level off other times I was perpetually trying to adjust. I presume that if I connected up my flight stick it just wouldn't work because this game doesn't look like it would support anything like that.
I really like the flying simulator, but multiple problems on the game. At times, the game only offers you $200 flight while your fuel will cost you $300 or more and you must accept losing money on the flight or you can not proceed. I have spent a lot of hours trying to advance in the game doing the right thing, but it offers an illegal action. I usually don't try and use the illegal action, but it makes the pay always seem a lot more than the normal fee of flying. However, each time you try it, you are usually fined or you are not payed for the illegal action. I don't understand this aspect of the game other than just do the right thing, (it could be removed). Finally, sometimes I need to pause or save the game, but you might be in a 5 minute flight and you always have to go back to the last stop. After you return to the game it doesn't leave you with enough fuel to complete the tasks. But After all my bad reviews, I still enjoy the game.
Im glad i didnt pay full price. not what i expected. 1/10
Definetly a game to be played occasionally. Very limited as a flight simulator on the PC. I was bored quickly and frustrated at the limiations both as a sim and a game.
hi this game is fun I don't know why more people don't play it I guess that's there loss.
The game has the elevators inverted and i cant change it WHA HAPPENE.
This game is bad... SHITE!
this game sucks a big aist of 10 buck graphics suck cant use anythng but mouse n keyboard cant even use a xbox controller wish i didnt buy it
Game is really trivial and boring.
The flight simulation is child-like simplistic. The controls are rather annoying; yoke "self-centres" so to keep a steady descent, you have to continually move the mouse forward, i.e. keeping moving it forward, not just keep in a fixed position.
Once you learn to fly, missions are to fly from one place to another and report in. Nothing of any interest. There is nothing risky about the missions, that I can see. Each one seems identical to the others. No complexity, nothing of interest.
Even if free, the half hour of time to see how little there is to the game is a half hour of your life you won't get back.
Feel a bit scammed on this one. No content whatsoever. No Career feel, lame plane upgrades, bugs and more. Stay away from this unless you like arcade feel and simple missions of pick up, fly to and deliver. Maybe worth 3$ because their are aps on my phone better then this.
I figured out the controls by hitting all the keys on my keyboard.
I took off. Island disappeared.
I flew back. Island reappeared.
I landed. No brakes.
Clipped through hangar..
Hit a bush.
Exploded.
Exited to see how much I paid for the game.
I knew it was bad, but I try anyway. Yes is bad. Very Bad.
This is a fun game, but it is plagued by several bugs and is lacking in features.
What I Like
- Easy to play - This is a good thing and a bad thing. It is a good thing because the controls are not overwhelming like DCS World and it is very forgiving if one were to make a mistake, which promotes the mellow feel to the game.
- Fun arcade feel - This game is by no means a Flight Simulator, X-Plane, or DCS World, and it clearly plays like a casual game. I do enjoy the realistic flight simulation games, but it is nice to play a mellow flying game.
- Relaxing atmosphere - Do you remember Microsoft Flight? If not, it was a based in Hawaii and had a relaxing atmosphere. This game has a similar feel, in that it is more tropical and worry free.
- Walk around - You can actually get out of your plane and walk around the airfields in this game, which is a nice addition. It is not much, but it certainly alleviates the cramped feeling as if you can never leave the plane.
- A lot of missions - The game has many missions, but they all have the same premise: go to this island, pick up a product, and deliver it to this island. This game spices it up with the ability to transport legal and illegal products; for the latter, you could risk getting caught by the police or getting cheated by the seller and not getting paid.
- The fart sound - I seriously think that the player's character walks around naked (or maybe flies naked) because when you get in and out of the plane, there is a sound of a flight suit being zipped which sounds strangely like a fart.
What I Do Not Like
- Easy to play - This is a good thing and a bad thing. It is a bad thing because the game feels too easy when flying. For example, you can hit the runway pretty hard and not suffer the consequences.
- Bugs - In the version that I am reviewing this game for, which is likely 1.0, there are many bugs. The bugs are not very game breaking (or at least I have not come across any), but they are noticeable and could be annoying to some players.
- No joystick ability - When I first bought this game, I immediately took out my flight joystick (Logitech Extreme 3D Pro), but I was severly disappointed to find that there is only keyboard and mouse controls. You cannot use game controllers or flight joysticks in this version. I hope they add it later.
[*]Lack of controls Similar to the first point, this game is too easy. There are very little controls, so do not expect to have flap adjustments, air drag compensation, or anything like that. There is a landing gear button, however.
Overall, the game is certainly fun, but it has several bugs and lacks features. (No joystick support!) You can probably squeeze a good ten hours out of this game before shelving it, so it is somewhat justifiable at $20. I do admire the team's ambition in creating this game, and I wish them the best of luck in this game and their future titles. I love the first mention in the "special thanks" ;)
