Best game ever. I can play it for hours (as my stats confirm). Why won't EA update for the latest OS and graphics cards? Smoother play and better graphics will only make it more enjoyable, and allow them to sell more licenses. I'm unable to play it from any of my macOS machines now. It works on Windows, but it is clear the graphics are dated. If EA does not have interested in support, then sell Zuma's Revenge off to someone that will.

Way too much RNG luck than actual skill to pass some of the later levels (lv50 onwards) you will feel cheated by the game, unless you get lucky with power ups and have a good start you are screwed!

Liked this game as a child, still like it now. It did at one point reset all my progress which was really annoying but it hasn't done that since. I do not know why I keep playing it, I need to ace everything though. Also a good game for when you're in a bad mood or don't want to play any of your other games.
Great game! Loved the 1st game when I was younger, and saw the sequel on sale. Super fun, and in my opinion, a huge improvement from the original game. Highly recommend picking this game up when its on sale (but honestly $5 is still a steal for this game!)
This is an old Popcap game. It runs surprising well, despite being around 20 years old. If you like popping ball puzzles, definitely get this game.
Love it, highly addictive but simple. Unfortunately can't get my progress back when installing a new system.
Zuma's Revenge is literally about a frog matching the color of balls on a tropical island all for some pussy.

Oh to be a young whipper snapper frog barrelling through the ocean once more! Why I remember a time when tigers used to smoke and I was but a humble tadpole navigating my way through the putrid sewers of a young man I used to know (and yes i do mean his bowels). This tale begins many many years before the start of this adventure... When I was born there was nothing but darkness and then I opened my eyes. I saw a massive ogre before me, he had two fangs sprouting from the bottom of his gaping maw and a terrible deformed, jagged, warty nose. Within my first moments of being alive all I felt was fear before this towering giant, this was the beginning to the rest of my life, or so i thought... The gargantuan brobdingnagian swiftly grabbed me with his deformed paw and stuffed me into his vile, odious mouth and swallowed me whole. I thought that was the end for me, curtains drawn, exit stage right. But I wanted to fight! To live! In that moment a sudden jerking motion befell me and at first I thought that I was to be digested, but alas! Salvation! Unbeknownst to me a saviour had to come to my aid and slain this monstrous pig. He fished me out from the belly of the beast and when I opened my eyes I saw a samoan man wearing a crown made of feathers, he had a welcoming smile adorning his face and a warm aura surrounding his person. Having only felt fear up until this point, I was overcome with a wave of emotion, a new emotion. Although I had not a name for this new sensation, I knew in time I would learn more about it from this mysterious figure. He took me to a remote island and told me about all the terrible evil this world has to offer, training me to become the ultimate froggy doggy doo doo killer. Once my training had elapsed he sent me off on my way to defeat the world on a rickety wooden raft. For 3 months and 2 hours I called this vessel my home, guarding it from the vicious onslaught of towering wave after wave, navigating through storms that could only be conjured by a higher power. Eventually I made it to an island and that is where the story of zuma begins. After many months of battle and hardship I conquered my first island and defeated the evil that lay there. However, in the final moments before the last boss drew his final breath he muttered to me a name "Janiel Ballan" somehow, someway, I knew in my little froggy heart that this was the savage offender that had swallowed me whole all those moons ago... I knew that I must find him and prove once and for all that I was the... ZUMA KAHONKA

I'm actually more neutral on this game, but because you have to pick either "do recommend" or "don't recommend", I figured I may as well pick "don't recommend" since I guess I'm more neutral-leaning-negative?
Anyways, I find this game has a really bad difficulty curve. The original Zuma admittedly had kind of a bad difficulty curve too, but here it's even worse. The adventure mode is quite the breeze, to the point that I only lost a life I think once in that section, with there very suddenly being a massive difficulty spike once you hit the Volcano Temple section. The original Zuma had a slightly smoother curve with a less steep difficulty spike right at stage 9.
The art style here is also not as good as the original imo. The level background design in particular is where the problem is, with backgrounds not having as well defined parts to them as the original Zuma did. Their details are muddled, and there were more than a few occasions where I couldn't actually tell where each path leads at a quick glance until I actually had enough balls flowing through the confusing areas. In a puzzle game where you have to move relatively quick, it is, in my opinion, very important for parts of the level to be very readable at just a glance.
That being said though? I like the new level types, like the ones with 2 different spots the frog can sit in, or the ones where the frog is placed on a straight rail you can move along. The boss battles too are pretty neat, though I found all of them to either be too easy or to be kind of annoying, so I think they could've done better there.

I remember watching my mom play these when I was a kid, I don't know if we ever beat it
simple and very casual game of shooting coloured balls against other coloured balls that come running down a line. You have to get three of the same in a row to make them disappear before the end of the line. Very simple but very addictive.

Like Zuma but more to do time killer, time injoyer
I have fond memories of playing this game on my dad's laptop as a kid, so I decided to buy it and see how it holds up.
Turns out it holds up INCREDIBLY well.
The gameplay is fast paced and addictive. The difficulty curve is fairer than in the original Zuma, and yet somehow the skill ceiling is higher. There's TONS of content to get through here -- after completing the adventure mode, you'll only be 1/3 or 1/4 of the way towards full completion.
This game perfectly encapsulates what was so great about the classic puzzle genre AND classic PopCap games.

This game takes concentration and it vastly improves reaction times for hand eye coordination. Improvements can be seen in two to tree weeks. The game gets faster so reaction times improve. And, it is just plain fun. If you are older this game is a must to maintain quick reflexes. Don't despair when you come to a level that appears to be too difficult to beat; just try and shoot faster and really pay attention to the pop-ups. You will need to those to win.
