Greatest fighting game ever made
There is a very slight lag between input and start of movement, just enough to be noticeable. I personally dislike the 3d models used. Smaller roster than MvC2 on the ps2. The menu is laggy and the voice over on the menu is annoying and can't be turned off without also disabling voices in match.

I loved watching UMvC3 tournaments back in the day! Recommending it now comes with a few caveats though.
- This game was released on consoles in 2011, but did not come to PC until 2017.
- Poor netcode, no rollback or GGPO, doesn't have cross-platform multiplayer either.
[*]There's still an active playerbase on PSN, but on Steam it's completely dead unless you use Parsec (organized via Discord).
If you're cool with that or just wanna play offline, then I can recommend getting this on sale. The lowest recorded sale price is $7.49 at -70%.
PS: Worked perfectly out of the box on CachyOS (Linux) with Proton-GE.
At least Ammy is in a fighting game with ultimate in it's subheading haha...
This game is lowkey gas, I've played it since I was like 5, it's actually so much fun, whether its fighting against AI or actual people. It's so much fun.

the game is better when you have mods, without the mods, the game is just bland by itself, it is better if you went online and downloaded a lot of mods just to make this game even better to play than it is before

Finally bought the steam version and it's the exact same game (Peak)
its marvel baby you gotta play online through parsec but thats the only downside
it's pretty good
The peak of MvC series. I hope the next sequel (yes, I skipped MvC Infinite haha) have this easy controls, great artstyle and good roster like this.

Fun game, recommended 100%. Just forget about the online multiplayer if you're unskilled or live outside of America, because you're not going to find a match in the same region and you're not going to find a low level player to match against.

I got really fried and bought this, and i love it. I gotta say it is a lot funner with mods, but overall highly recommend if you like marvel,street fighter or fighting games in general. The art and design of this game also looks and feels amazing. 8/10
