Very fun, Some levels can be a little tiresome because there aren't enough ways of hiding bodies or from prying eyes.

It is legit fun for about the first dozen levels but by the midway point the difficulty just becomes so artificially inflated that whatever early enjoyment you find in the gameplay just turn's into nothing but tedious frustration.
This game has a unique concept, and while at times I do find the game enjoyable, the issues that the game has are too big to ignore. Some of the things that I find annoying about the game include:
-When killing inside the area of a smoke bomb, sometimes you will still be chased by the police when the smoke wears off. this might be an intentional game mechanic, maybe I just don't understand how they work.
-Killing multiple cops in a level will cause FBI agents to appear, making the level a little more challenging, but sometimes, seemingly at random, one of the agents decides to just go back to the FBI car, making it trivial to avoid the now alone FBI agent looking for you.
Every level has one song that just plays on repeat, This gets annoying fast.
-The game rewards patience instead of skill/cleverness. You often have to wait for civilians to be alone in order to kill them, since if they see you, you have basically no chance of catching up to them. They are faster than you, by a lot. This makes the combo feature seem kind of meaningless, and serves more as a distraction. I don't know if it's because I have ADD, but if there is a combo feature in a game, I can't just ignore it, and in this game it often causes me to get beat up and arrested because I try to murder a huge crowd to build my combo.
Now as I said at the start of the review, I do find this game enjoyable at times and I will probably finish it, and when I do, I might edit this review.
I don't think anyone reads steam reviews longer than 4 sentences so nobody will probably read this review anyways. Just wanted to use this as a diary I guess.
i'm hard until i party
Kinda late to the party (pun intended)
This is a great coop game, I love playing this with my friends. The game is hilarious and the npcs are perfect, they walk around, they panic, cops are taking innocent people under arrest, FBI knocks people over, shit's always going on.
Mechanics are awesome, simple, very tight and intuitive. E to stab, Space to interact, R to pickup bodies. The wide variety of interactable objects make it so much fun to kill party goers in various ways. My favorite must be the horse.
I'm sure you'll enjoy playing this master piece, just make sure to avoid other games in the series, from what I understand this is the peak of it.
Cons:
- some achievments are ridiculus (opening the game 100 times, really?)
- castle DLC isn't great. It's free though.
really fun game with pixel art style, and there are so many option to approach a level. but its a tad bit repetitive.

It gets repetitive really quick. It's like a 5/10 movie. I am having fun I suppose, it's not bad, but it's definitely not great either. It's satisfying enough to keep playing but at no point am I like "Oh I could really go for some party hard rn"
I really hoped i would like it, and i guess i did with the first levels, but after being stuck on miami party its just clear that this isnt really a good game. I like the premise and the first levels somewhat, but theres just too many problems
-The most efficient way of beating a map is just repeatedly using one spot to camp your victims in
-AI is just straight up bullshit sometimes, literally suspecting you even tho another mf is standing right next to the corpse
-Levels take really long, and just get boring after you've died a few times. It also makes most levels extremely
-Theres too little actual gameplay in sabotaging stuff, and not a lot of shit to sabotage, wich just promotes the first problem i had more
-A lot of maps are way too open, and a lot are just really simply positioned (one map is literally just a circle) wich i personally just think is incredibly unfun for a stealth game
Genuinly, theres such a good base here, i just wished these things weren't this way else i would've genuinly loved this game.
Still, i've got some friends that do like it, so i guess you can also just try for yourself. Its genuinly almost no money.
I don't think these issues are ever gonna get fixed, but im just pointing them out regardless for if they ever want to try something like this again

really fun game, and personally i dont have a single complaint on it. its just not a super amazing game, just good. but does it have to be more?
After owning this game for many years (I purchased it after watching TotalBiscuits video, RIP to the legend TB) I finally completed it. Ironic that as I completed it, I too was struggling to sleep but I wasn't about to go on a literal knife murdering rampage.
Party Hard is a really fun pixel art style game where the premise is simple, it is 3am, your neighbours are partying hard and you're a bit of a madman and want to kill them all.
What I like about Party Hard is that you can if you wanted, go all London on each party goer and shank 'em up good. But there are also many other options thrown into each level to help you kill your victims! For example you can poison the drink bowl, set a speaker to blow up, throw people off of the roof and many other ways for these poor souls to meet their end. All the while you must be sneaky with each stab, because if someone spots a dead body, Officer Dibble is called to the scene to bag and tag 'em. If you're spotted, he is after you.
Dibble gives up rather quickly on the first arrest attempt and then each time will pursue you for longer until the inevitable arrest and imprisonment of you. You have a sprint meter but it doesn't last long and there are a few escape routes which are a one time use, once used a familiar looking chap comes and boards them up.
For me, it is the challenge of working out how to kill X amount of people without being seen, arrested or beaten up by the bouncers or party goers. It becomes a fun puzzle with some rather hilarious outcomes.
The art style is simple but effective and makes for all the more entertainment.
Gameplay is smooth and runs well on any PC and the Steam Deck.
Music is nice, there is a repetitive track that runs in the background of each attempt and it isn't really noticeable that it is the same repeated music, unless you're really listening out for it. Although a way to skip to another track would have been nice.
There is also a lot of replayability in the game with different 'heroes' to choose from, each with a unique way to stabby stabby.
Overall, a fun game, something you can just relax and not take too seriously.

How come there was never any news stories about the game where you murder people at partied.

It is really well made, and goofy & fun!
Party Hard Is a fun Stealth-ish game where your objective is to kill every single person in the party. Although the objective is simple, the way you achieve this is where the challenge presents itself.
The game has about 11 levels, all in different cities and some with their own unique way of killing people. I think my favorite thing about the game is the different environmental traps that you are able to set up around the map so the unsuspected bystanders fall for them. Besides traps however, the other method of killing is with a simple back stab that you can perform with just the push of a button. If you do manage to kill someone however, make sure you dump the body in the nearest dumping spot (usually a dumpster) so the other npcs don't spot it because if they see you close to a body, they will call the police. You cant really kill the police when they're chasing you, but I was successful in outrunning them and you can also use the traps around the map to kill them and stop them from persecuting you which helps a lot as it gives you a window for you to go on a killing spree with nothing able to stop you, even if someone does see you do it. You can also pick up a suitcase that is in the level which will provide you with a random item that can aid you in either killing people or escaping the police.
Sadly the flaws of the game falter in the same core mechanics that creates the enjoyment. In most maps, there are not many traps you can set up to kill multiple targets and all of the traps are a one and done type of deal. The levels also randomly generate the traps that spawn so sometimes a map might not give you a lot of them, which will ultimately lead you into having to kill every single individual person by yourself with no traps, which makes this a very hard task as almost everyone is always in groups and as I said before, if you get spotted you're basically screwed. If this does happen as well, it makes you take twice as long to complete a single level because of how careful you have to be with killing people without being seen. This makes the game less enjoyable as the most entertainment you get is from setting up traps and doing different things across the level. If there were ways to set up the same trap multiple times, or at least put your own and have reusable traps, then the game would shine much brighter, but as it stands you cannot do those things, thus making levels tedious to complete towards the end when you exhaust all of your options.
I still enjoyed my time with the game however, I love the pixel art as each level is just a big wallpaper that you can run around in and interact with. The game might not be perfect but the first few levels and some later levels were pretty fun to complete as when the game does generate a lot of traps, you tend to have a lot of fun setting them up and seeing people get killed while you press the dance button. I would say give this game a shot, get it on sale if you're curious.

A Commandos game with a twist, a sick but fun twist.
Despite having relatively small levels that fit completely on the screen, the game manages to pack them with objects to interact with, events to trigger, and references. The difficulty progression is excellent, and although the later levels turn into giant complex puzzles, the game still offers multiple ways to clear them while maintaining a challenge. Worth at full price.
Interesting concept but terrible execution. The AI is way too unpredictable and arbitrary to be enjoyable. The maps are too restrictive and movement and overall gameplay is too slow
People had too much party while you just wanted to live in peace. The won´t stop partying. So join the party... Make them silent... But don´t let the cops get you while you murder your neighbors.

I LOVE THIS GAMEE!
I've played Party Hard Go (the android version) twice before, but I got this one after i found out that there's DLC that continues the story. First and foremost, THE MUSIC IS SENSATIONAL! It really carries this game on it's back. I swear once you listen to the music, it'll get stuck in your head. It's memorable and a great one. I do mean both the original and remastered and DLC tracks, every single one of them are bangers and I'm seriously addicted to it. Special mention to the protagonist, pretty iconic ngl.
Now about the gameplay, This ain't no Hitman, but it's good enough. It's fun and the unique premise for which you commit these heinous acts is reason enough to keep you going. We've all wanted to shut that noisy neighbour up for good at some point in our lives. The traps and mechanics are pretty well made and the levels are well made. It's brimming with personality in it's presentation. This game uses it's pixel style very well with vibrant colours and enough detail to grab your attention. There's easter eggs, funny moments and crazy over the top wackiness that's bound to make you chuckle. Although, it can get repetitive. I didn't feel it, but I understand that a lot may. The DLC missions get special credit. It really spiced up the formula from the main game, providing new mechanics to pay attention to and an added sense of difficulty. You can really feel that the devs really gained experience and it shows. I enjoyed them. ALTHOUGH F*** THEM DOGS.
Now about the story, it's alright. It's not really gripping stuff, but I found myself engaged. The ending is sure to be a mind-f***. It recontextualizes a lot of plot points and gives it many more layers of darkness and f***edupness. I enjoyed it. The DLC levels don't really add much to the plot. Although I do not like the voice acting in the DLC. The main game has good enough voice acting, but honestly coulda been better.
Party Hard is a game I'd urge you to play just for it's music alone, but those who like games in the style of Hitman will stay longer and enjoy it more. That soundtrack tho.

That one game the Youtubers got for free when i was growing up lol. The game is a large amount of fun and very simple as well as stylisitc. Kill everyone and dont get caught by the police. The game has a very arcade-esk feel and is alot of fun to jump back into at any point. Story is, lackluster

This is a peculiar little stealth game. You are a psycho killer and your mission is to kill everyone in the room without being caught. Hide bodies, sneak around, do crimes. The sneaking around is harder than other stealth games, because there aren't clear indicators that you've been spotted, or they're too quick. But it's fun to pretent to be Michael Myers.

Game is good. Game is fun. Music was decent. HITBOXES SUCK.
AI sucks. Its impressive the "AI that attacks you" hasn't been reworked. It seems all i need is to be seen half a second by a bodyguard in a normal area next to other people for them to immediately run towards me and insta-kill me making me restart the game. I'd get it if there was any kind of pattern or logic behind it, but it seems pretty much random if they want to attack me or not. This behavior is turned up with the dark castle update demons or the DLC hounds which are the same but WAY faster and the same problem is turned up to 12 with that enemy.
Voice acting is so-so, but it was decent for its time. The game is 2D and it shows, any level where there's any degree of attempt at an elevation change or 3-dimensional design immediately fails as it ends up being just a diagonal path towards another 2D area. Frankly i'd rather the game just stuck to being entirely flat in the levels and avoided making them feel weird for the sake of pretending to be 3D.
The hitboxes are frankly atrocious and your character is not only slow but runs out of stamina very quickly when sprinting, not that its very useful because its still slow as hell and you have pretty much no chance of killing someone before they reach the phone and call the police on you, albeit this doesn't apply with all characters, some are better than others in this regard.
I get that part of the game is trial and error even when you fail at the very end with 1 guy left to kill, but i cant lie and pretend its fun to fail at the very last 1 or 2 guys left. Specially with the difficulty WALL that is the miami beach party mission.
There's workshop support, a bunch of free update scenarios, and that on top of the epilogue 4-scenario-long paid DLC of high crimes. It took me about 6 or 7 hours to finish the whole campaign, didn't bother much with the rest due to the previous issue with the enemy AI and speed being too much of an annoyance.
Still a very fun game for its pricetag.
