Notrium was originally released in 2003 when it was regarded as one of the finest examples of the budding indie game movement. It had a fan following of millions, with dozens of mods, and multiple clone games. Notrium was one of the first survival games ever made, and possibly even the first ever to be called a survival game.

Gosh, I player this game when I was 13. I tried so hard, but failed back then. It's been 12 years I've decided to complete it no matter it takes and did it in 4 hours. Seems I've done everything in this life and ready to die smiling. Thank you for the beautiful childhood, Ville Mönkkönen!
