One of if not the best fighting game in history. Despite being a really dificult game,I recommend this game to all fighting game fans,casual and competitive,specially on sale (3,14$ for this game is insanelly good )
Amongst the best in the series and dare I say one of the best fighting games ever. Lots of character variety, stages, palette swaps, and one of the most banging soundtracks you could ask for. Alongside unique mechanics such as enhancing moves with meter it makes for a heavily offense focused game where being aggressive is rewarded.
Anytime I play Strive I get bored of it within a few days and always find myself jumping back into this or Rev 2 without fail.

I've been ass at this game for twenty years, and if I had to choose it would still be the only game I ever play.
it's an excellent game. i could not possibly recommend it to a new FG player, but if you have some experience and haven't seriously tried +R, you really should.

Played my first ranked match and won using Heavenly Potemkin Buster, Gabriel flew in out of nowhere after 10/10 game Ive seen enough.

there should be a bar with something called sidewinder loop on the menu and it's just 10 shots of everclear

Just got mollywhopped by an insane slayer player, made me rethink my life choices. 150/10 game.
Have rollback netcode, I don't mind, but it's always good to have.
Best soundtrack and art style.
Learning curve to high for me, skill issue for sure. Has the old fighting game annoying stuff, like timing reading input.
I chose Baiken as my main, it wasn't a good choice, fun to play, but very complicated. I'll change it and see what happens...

Now this is one of the greatest fighting games of all time its not hard to get into, the online feels amazing, combos feel fun to do, and the music is good

- rollback netcode is highest quality played with 2 frame delay 300 ping without problem
- the only fighting game I would put on par is sf4ultra if it get rollback netcode update of course !
- I doubt that something better will be created in the future, the games are getting easier every year and this cannot be reversed. every part of this game is perfect, I love the effects of screaming characters with surround effect, music, dark atmosphere mk1 could learn, each match looks completely different sf5/sf6 could draw conclusions

as ALL GUILTY GEAR GAMES< really great!
People who say +R is more hard or whatever are only right in the fact that it has no tutorial, but if you came from strive most of the gameplay beats are going to hit the same, except grab is for some reason 6H and 0F startup and also you can't wiff it because it will just automatically use up your normal 6H or 5H move. all in all this game is actually easier to find a match in despite the lesser playerbase somehow, like i find newbs like me to play with in ranked match, and I don't even wait that much really.
also it has a lot of single-player content for people into that, story mode with multiple endings, arcade, M.O.M, survival, also it has a 3v3 mode if you have that many friends who want to try out the game, if you came from strive too, you'll find that the game is literally just looney tunes, even more than strive somehow, so all in all, highly reccomend
You should get this game!
The online play isn’t too bad—while it doesn’t have as many players as Strive, it doesn’t take long to find a match. I really enjoy the characters in this game, both in terms of how they play and their design.
Also, Zappa & robo ky is in it, which should automatically make you want to buy it! The maps are really cool, and tbh they probably have some of my Favourite map designs out of all the games.
this game is way better than rev2 but dont tell anyone i said that that or they'll get me.
