Quell Memento is a wonderful puzzle experience. The puzzles are challenging but never frustrating, and I love the relaxing soundtrack and minimalist visuals. What surprised me most is the subtle story woven throughout—it gives the game an emotional layer that adds real depth. The game strikes a perfect balance between relaxation and mental challenge, making it a great choice for fans of thoughtful puzzle games.
Similar to Quell: Reflect, I didn't play Memento until years after I played the original. The third installment adds plenty of new mechanics for players to challenge, making even those familiar with prior installments look deeper into potential solutions and secrets.
That said, while I expected favorable gameplay, I didn't expect the underlying story. I could tell that there was something going on within Quell and Reflect, but as everything finally came together in Memento, I couldn't help but feel sad as things finally made sense. With a man looking back on his life over the years and getting closure on his time, it helped me reflect on my own life and consider where I cam now. I certainly have many more years in my own life, but I sincerely do hope I can make the most of my time with my loved ones. I'm sure you'll have a chance to do the same, dear reader... just give yourself some time and don't forget to look back at how far you've come so far, okay?
