It's a really lazy sequel. The same characters (+1) with the same abilities. They're dreaming now so they're in costume yet their avatars on the aimer remain unchanged. It's a few new backgrounds and some rearranged pegs.

A follow-up to the original that's just as good. Pretty much just more of the same, and I have no complaints about that! The levels in this one seemed a bit more difficult than the first, so definitely play that before this.
I fucking love this shit might as well be black tar heroine. Made classes like music technology and business ethics bareable for my adhd having ass.
This game is the peak of casual games, its ashame peggle 3 will most likely never exist, do check out peggle fevers which is an awesome mod but this game has helped me through so much, i love it dearly..

If you enjoyed the original Peggle then you'll enjoy this one as it's basically just more of the same gameplay with some slight redesigns of the characters and backgrounds and one new character.

I played the original Peggle YEARS ago on a now long-gone account, and always wanted to try the sequel but never got a chance. Time passed, completely forgot about it. Fast forward to 2023, and I just so happened to log into steam during their summer sale, and noticed HOLY CRAP both Peggles for $5?!? Sniped that immediately. Absolutely worth it.
I recommend this game, and the original if you haven't played it. Very fun, the level layouts and rng are tuned so nicely as for the player to easily pull off crazy trick shots and bounces, and every level ends in a cool slow mo shot as the ball nears the last peg, followed by a crescendo of classical music. Wish EA kept making quality games like this or Spore and not fifteen billion sims DLCs. Or the unholy spawn that is Peggle 2.

What can I say that others haven't already? Well, I have over 225 hours on the game. So i kinda have the hang of it. LOL.

It's peggle and it's fun
Peggle is like meeting God for the first time, except God is a bouncing ball and heaven is a wonderland full of pegs. Every time I play Peggle, my soul is no longer attached to our real world. It gets sucked out of my body, and transported into the universe of PopCap’s magnum opus. At this point, I don’t even know what my body is doing when I’m playing Peggle. Does it matter? Not really. What matters is that I have become one with this masterpiece. Each 'doing!' that plays when the ball colides with a peg, each Jimmy Lightning guitar riff, every Ode to Joy at the end is a moment that should be documented and passed down for generations. Imagine Leonardo da Vinci painting the Mona Lisa, but instead, he was launching a ball at a group of pegs. Same energy. The way the pegs are delicately placed, it’s like the universe itself has conspired to align them perfectly for maximum satisfaction. Every shot you take, every ricochet off the bucket's rim, feels like humanities' newest, greatest achievement. If there was a single flaw in Peggle, it would be that the game eventually ends, and I have to return to the real world. It's a cruel consequence one must take to enjoy pegging. But, how could one appreciate the brilliance of Peggle if we were allowed to play forever? It’s a reminder that we are forever human and that no matter how hard we may try, the world of Peggle is forever out of reach. The modern era could never recreate Peggle. Nothing today will ever compare to the joy of watching a ball bounce unpredictably across a board of pegs. Peggle is eternal. It is pure. It is the closest thing humanity has come to recreating heaven.

Still fun as hell, minor compatibility issues with resolution and fullscreen/windowed toggle - easily fixed with fiddling with display settings. Have fun!

Withstands the test of time; a Classic.
If you buy this game, treat it like a DLC; it's literally just more levels and one new character. Although it is still a very fun game and it has great level design, it has some flaws. Some of the objects in the levels appear to be a part of the background, until you fire a ball and it bounces off seemingly nothing. A small gripe, but a real one. It is incredibly similar to the first game, with the amount of differences being countable on one or maybe two hands. It's still fun, but nothing beats the original.
It is a good sequel to Peggle. More of the same, in a good way; more difficult, also, a way better soundtrack. Peggle Nights is a worthy sequel to Peggle, in my opinion.
I may only have 15 minutes on my steam playtime, but this and the original peggle were my first PC games of all time. Such good memories. Get it on sale if you want a relaxing puzzle game.
