Took me a decade to post a review of this simple card game.
I enjoyed my in-between sessions with this game after a long single player game or competitive game.
Its too bad this game didn't go any further.
Thank you David for making this game.
I think I snagged this title for $.50 - at that price point the game is quite fun. It's essentially a card game based around managing a video game project. The player competes to finish their product before competitors by collecting a team who move production tasks toward completion.
It's a quick play with cute art.
A 1-on-1 card game where you have to develop a video game and stop your opponent to do his... The game would have been more interesting if you could play with 4 players (alliances, cards that affect all the others...) and of course if you could play multi with friends! In that state, it's nice, but quickly repetitive and not really surprinsing.
Felt like a half-baked card game design. No ability to trash cards in your hand is a real annoyance and drags games out unneccessarily.
I played two games (which took about half an hour) and pretty much exhausted everything there is to do. Every game is exactly the same. You play all cards that you're able to every turn, regardless of usefulness, so you can get more cards (that might actually be useful) next turn. Nearly no strategy. Completely boring.
I find this game really fun! It's a good turn based game against AI though I haven't won a game yet, the AI is too OP. It is quite fun when you use a blackout or server crash on the AI as you really stop them in their tracks. I have been getting about 3 more tasks than the AI which does make it harder. But never the less it is a good game!
The game is cheeky with a lot of game development references. If you are a game developer in a large company, this game will surely make you smile. The gameplay is pretty simple, you have 5 cards, you can play as many as you want per turn as soon as they have a valid target. You play against the AI and the first player to complete all of his game tasks wins. There is no deck customization of any kind which I could see. The main issue with the game is that it's extremely based on luck (if you don't draw the right card, you will never win), but at least you can get a laugh out of it. Recommended at a very low price point.
This game is a fun and relaxing way to spend time. If you just wanna chill this is the game for you.
The idea of this game is awesome! Also the art is good and cards are well designed in every way.
However the game suffers from bad core mechanics. The draw mechanic makes the game very luck based. You often end up with your hand full of cards which you can't play. Currently there is no way to discard cards from your hand, although this seems to be in development for the next version.
There no multiplayer, deck building, tutorial or even main menu currently.
It seems like a demo or a prototype of a good game.
I was very sceptical of this game at first "A card game for developing games?" But i started playing and it was fun i didnt wanna stop playing i was hook i just finished my first game and i just won its a hard game but you can still enjoy it. 9/10 (it would be 10 but i didnt see a save button)
There is no depth in this game. The most optimal play is almost always to play all you can.
This game is fairly mediocre in all regards.
The game itself is very straightforward and offers no real challenge. With a lack of any different mode or difficult, you're stuck with the same game and level for every game.
Surprisingly insightful card game. Based on some of the action cards you can deal, it smells like the guy behind it has worked in a studio before (or even currently) and I kinda dig this.
I don't typically play card games, and bought the game out of curiousity but was pleasantly surprised.
Incredibly imbalanced, purely based on random number generator. Barely any skill involved.
UI/UX design is terrible.
Graphics are weak at best.
A lot of the cards just have copy-pasted descriptions, and even then some of them are missing words or have typos.
Sound is like something from the 80s and randomly changes moods.
Devs need to go read up on their game design books(if they even have any) and try again.
Also, Steam needs to add a refund option.
1.5/10 because some of the card descriptions actually made me chuckle
This is a cheap, simple card game. The greatest flaw is the draw mechanic (always draw up to 5 cards), which means that you'll be sitting on useless cards, while the opponent pulls of combo after combo.
Pros:
- Good idea for a card game
- Great production value, highly polished
- Nice art style
- Very cheap - Play it for two hours and you'll get your money's worth.
Cons:
- One big design flaw (draw mechanic) makes this game highly dependent on luck
- Very low replay value

It's a trading card game without people to trade cards with. There is no deck creation and there is no ability to choose anything in your deck. Everything in the game is a matter of pure randomness of what you get. Maybe you get 20 action cards for 20 rounds in a row and you lose by default. Maybe that happens to the computer. At the end of the day in a strategy game you should feel like you deserved to win it, not that randomness handed it over to you.
The game is very limited in what it can do and has no menues. No menues means on multiplayer, no game modes, no challenges, no achievements, and no real room for expansion. If you're thinking that this is a risky buy, don't buy it. It's really just a one time playthrough until you realize how loaded the literal cards are.
If you go to their website they announced that instead of implementing features people want into this game they're just going to make a new one with them. This game will never be worth your time.
The game is fun. It pokes fun at what making a game is like and I enjoy it. The card play is simple and easy to understand. The only issue I have with the game is that you have no option to discard cards, so if you end up with a card in your hand you cannot use, you cannot get rid of it either, it turns all situations into, "do I play this card or hold it", for every card, except developers where you have to choose which department. Without the ability to discard there is no way to mitigate the RNG in the game so if you get unlucky, you just lose, no matter what.
Still overall for a few bucks, not bad, worth a few hours ot time.
I like this game. Fair number of dynamics at play. That being said, you can figure out how to win every time fairly quickly, so not a ton of hours of game play here. But still, pretty fun.
This is a cool little casual card game for when you have a few minutes to kill and dont feel like getting into anything too heavy. You and the AI have identical decks of cards, and try to prevent each other from achieving your objectives.. pretty simplisitic on the surface, but is deceptively strategic once you get into it.
The quotes on the cards are awesome, especially if you've had any exposure to the game dev industry, the art is cool too, music is ok, but gets a little repetitive.
It's not multiplayer (yet?), and not a trading card game or deck building game, so dont expect anything along those lines.. but still worth it for the couple of bucks that it costs.
Here's the first thing you need to know about this game: there's no menu and no modes, which means no multiplayer, a core requirement for any card game.
Here's the second thing you need to know: everything is completely luck based; no skilled is involved whatsoever. It's such a simplistic concept with the only real game mechanics being playing the random cards you get and waiting. The requirements to win are also randomly generated, but not balanced, so sometimes you'll just have a way lower or higher requirement than your opponent.
It's a nice concept, but it needs a lot more work, or at least some work in order to be enjoyable. Do NOT buy this game.
