personally I love this game, well kinda. It's a charming game from my childhood and it's very enjoyable, yet simple fish arcade-y game where you eat fish and get bigger, there are some cool power ups that assist and a "frenzy" bar that shows up the more efficient you are at eating quickly effectively rewarding you for going fast. that being said I don't like the later levels all that much, I kind of found them getting a little bit annoying in terms of their level design, like the Puffer Fish feel as if it directly counters that previously made bar to help you go fast and every time I ran into them It tended to slow me down, making the level feel very un-fun to do. now I didn't mind the squids(and Octos) or poisoned fish that much since they kind of made think ahh just avoid/dodge that. but when you get a level that ONLY has those obstacles it kind of gets annoying and counters it's own mechanics now this isn't so bad I'd say it's just unrecoverable it's just a small detail I think I personally would change. My other issue is the hit boxes on the earlier on stages it's not actually that bad, however the bigger you are due to hit box being "so big" you easily can get sucked into your enemies and man do the drag you, I found myself getting a little annoyed at the fact that I wouldn't be even close to running into them and just being dragged, now that could've been a skill issue on my part. I mean even I acknowledge after awhile of playing I probably wouldn't have an issue with it. other than that I do recommend this game, it's rather short I beat it in 5 hours I'm certain you could do it way faster. and it has some replay-ability if you enjoy going back and getting better scores.

(one last detail old game so aspect ratios gonna be weird I left it in windowed mode just cause I don't want to deal with all that)

man what a blast!, although i only played the first game but its almost identical to this one, man this would make a man cry, the nostalgia hit me hard when we were playing the game on the family computer in 2006 maybe ....19 years ago, man have i aged and life changed so much, honestly i miss the cozy and lovely days instead of the stress and insomnia and work that im having now

After taking the nostalgia goggles off, this game is sadly a mixed bag.

On one hand, early levels are cool, the game introduces gimmicks every few levels that keep things interesting.

On the other hand, later levels are just painfully slow and frustrating, they have too much dangers and growing in size takes a long time. Boss battles use a single enemy and are repetetive, they have a different hazard every time when the method of beating the boss is the same. The plot is uninteresting, especially since it's mostly given in text boxes at the start of every level.

I think the early levels are good enough to be worth the price, just don't force yourself to play more once it starts being unfun. The ending reward is not worth it.

Perfect...iconic...addicting...encapsulates childhood memories & the 2000's. Only real complaint is the camera can be a little frustrating.

Still better than most Triple A games released this year

This game is one of my absolute favorite Childhood games out there, it's so simple yet so incredibly fun to play, Now all I have to wait for is for the first game to be brought over :P. I can't recommend this game enough.

Bring back a lot of good memories from childhood.

Remember playing this back when I was a kid and getting stuck- I think this was back when Popcap or some 3rd party charged to play their games I think monthly? It was on my Dads old PC. So between this and insaniquarium to finally be able to play them to my own leisure and see how things end its nice. A nice little Nostalgic for those who remember it and a bit of a silly little time eater if you don't.
