Bounce your way to victory!
Elastrix is a puzzle game that will stretch your brain to the max! The rules are simple: stretch elastics onto pegs, bounce little Trix creatures on them, and hit the targets.
But easier said than done! Throw in challenge gems to collect, new zany kinds of elastics, moving obstacles, anti-gravity, and a quest to make the Perfect Shot - and suddenly it's an hour later and you've forgotten to make supper.
Oh yes, it's that kind of game.

The main game is fun and mildly inventive for as long as it lasts. The extra mode Trixball is RNG hell. If you're going for all of the achievements, this is where most of your time will be spent.
Wonderful physics game for perfect relaxation.
Oof, I forgot to write a review for this game a few years ago when I beat it so my memory is a little hazy on it.
It's very short. The levels end up hardish but not really hard enough to make you have to rake your brain for solutions. If you can't tell what type of gameplay this game offers by looking at 10 seconds of the trailer, well the game might be a bit to difficult for you.
I think it's worth the $3 asking price for sure.
Good way to waste an afternoon or two. Fun but its more of a mobile game, don't spend more than 2$ on it
This is not what I expected. The video and screenshots make it seem much better than it is. 4/10
It's a really cute game, especially for killing time.
This is a fun little game, if you have a few mins to spare and dont want to start up a long game this is perfect. It has a series of well designed levels and some acheivements to make it a bit harder trying to get some levels without collecting any gems at all etc.
Also there is a 'free play' mode where you can play a kind of arcade style version so once you have completed all the levels it can still give you a few mins of fun before you go offline.
It's an entertaining little puzzler. Not the best interface or graphics, but it works just fine. It's a quick and easy play and fairly cheap so if you like pick-up-and-play puzzlers, this is worth grabbing on sale.
Simple and fun game. It is exactly what the description says, "place bands to guide the character". It's a very recommendable time sink, especially for puzzle lovers. Although it is a little boring for me, it is in fact great with the kids!
I can see how some might think this too simple. But it's a fun, relaxing kind of game with a few surprises. And if I get bored with it, my almost 7 year old son was really getting into it. It's making him think about trajectories and physics and where the trix is likely to go next.
Nice short game.
It's a good little game, easy and short. But it could be improved. It's too simple, and the ball disappearing too fast in trixball mode is a bit boring.
Another sweet game by Hyper Hippo Productions, Elastrix is a fun little puzzle game. The gameplay is pretty simple, but that doesn't mean Elastrix is not good. This game tests your physics skills. Throughout the levels, there are some weird gravitational forces while trying to reach the goal. Additionally, there's a mode in Elastrix called Trixball. In it, you try to aim for the highest score and earn as many points as you can.
I have to say though, I finished all the levels pretty quickly so adding additional (and harder) levels would make the game even better!
Decent casual puzzler, 60 levels, took me 2 hours for perfect (less to just complete), sandbox-ey physics with often different ways to reach a solution.
On top of that there's a highscore mode that works somewhat like a cross between pinball and pachinko, with 3 more achievements to get.
Fun.
It's a very simple game. From the trailer, you should know if this is the type of game for you or not. Personally it isn't for me, but I can see the charm and I think there's potential fun to be had. I think with a few changes it could be significantly improved:
1) The cannon shoots in a fixed position meaning the levels are straight forward and simple trial and error. If you could choose where to fire, such as in an obvious inspiration for this game Peggle, it would make the game more involved than simply dragging lines, clicking a button and hoping for the best.
2) A back button. As it is if you make a mistake you have to reset the level or precisely click on an individual band which is a little tedious. Furthermore, it would be nice if you could hold and drag left mouse to connect multiple points, rather than having to click each time.
3) More levels would be nice as you can finish the game within 2 hours. There's only 60; 30 standard and 30 anti-gravity levels. There's also a "Trixball" mode which is very much so like Peggle but as it is always played on exactly the same level it gets old very quick.
While it is cheap, there's plenty of other games that are also just as cheap or even free that offer more involvement and replayability than this game, such as (you guessed it!) Peggle. As a result it's tough to recommend. But it's not bad, and it's still probably good for kids or to waste time at work but just don't expect to get much out of it.
This is a pretty fun game. It reminds me a lot of the iOS games like "Cut the Rope" and "Where's my Water". It's fun to kill time with.
Here are my (current) opinions with the game.
Is the game fun?
Yes (I enjoy puzzle games)
Does the game have a "mobile app" feel?
Yes
Are the levels challenging?
It took me a half hour to beat classic mode (50% of the game) but the other half, "gravity mode," the levels are quite tricky (Those levels remind me of the Mario Galaxy gravity stages.)
Is it worth the price currently?
Yes and No. No, considering there is already a free Android, browser, and iOS version, with all 30 levels of classic mode. The only difference in this version is that there is gravity levels which makes it worth it.
Would DLC make the game worth it?
If it is for free, yes.
Is it worth it then?
The game is currently 4.49 CAD (3.36 CAD if you got it on sale) and the game contains 60 levels with a hint of DLC on the way. If you are into puzzle games and want something to play, I say yes. But if you would rather have this on the go, get the iOS or Android version for free, only difference is no Gravity Levels.
