STORY
The Tonrar, a demonic trickster, has awoken in the Arctic. The mythical powers that are still very active in this part of the world are under severe threat. The Tonrar is spreading his darkness that is taking over both the physical aspects (ice, snow and caves) but also the mythological. The Inuit gods, giant mythical creatures; the Ice Bear, the Raven and the Narwhal are all under threat by the Tonrar. They are slowly losing their power, health and sanity - infected by this darkness. Hiko and Ataataq are the only hope, yet Hiko is physically and will need to rely on the brute strength of his powerhouse father, Ataataq.
Guiding Hiko, his physically weak but gifted son along this epic journey, Ataataq will need to rely on his brute strength to overcome many obstacles. Hiko, although more fragile than his father, carries with him supernatural abilities and magical skills that exceed the physical powers of his father.
Together, Ataataq and Hiko must traverse the arctic landscape and visit The Trinity of the Mythical Creatures to help defeat the malevolent Tonrar. Physically weak and fragile, Hiko will need the help of his father to reach the end of this wondrous tale.

The controls in this game are... terrible but the story is nice and cute? Also doing 100% in this game will definitely end you, just fyi
[Fully played on SteamDeck LCD]
I beat this game only for writing this review. And only 5% of players saw the ending.
Sometimes, one button with multiple functionalities is very good such as "interact" and "pick up item" thingy.
And this game took it very opposite way. You do not know what those characters will do. It could be jumping, punching, pounding or pushing. The other one could be teleporting to random location or just floating. IDK
The control... very VERY clunky. A simple turn takes 1 second, you can't control anything when one of them is doing roll landing, You cannot let go when the old man is stuck at the ceiling or little one is doing teleportation.
The game design is... everywhere as bad way.
Mostly play as local coop platformer without devided screen. that's fine.
Psych! The little one can teleport all of a sudden!
And then suddenly, BAM! You gotta play the...flappy bird? Okay but why?
Why would the devs thought that mixing those things is good idea?
Don't you love when the screen just flash dark environment to super bright white screen without any warning of "FLASHING SCREEN"?
Story is WTF.
The god is like "Yo, your son is special. But you gotta meet 3 other gods to gain their soul(?)."
Then the father is like "Cool. I'll let my son die to defeat the... evil blue mask thingy without being sad for my son what so ever."
And then the kid is like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
And the very first god is like "Oh yeah, I'll help your son. F*** you, father."
I had a a good time with this game. Not too many games dive into the Inuit culture so I appreciated that as well. Movement was stiff at times, but nothing crazy. A short, but satisfying experience
