It's Telltale - 'nuff said.
If you know TellTale games then you know what you are up to.
The Story this one covers is set in the Game Of Thrones universe and is very well written.
It is a lot of fun and very exciting to follow the characters of House Forrester in their challanging times during the war. You have to make tough decisions and try to maintain a posible future for the House.
The actual gameplay is again more minimalistic. It is about he discussions with other characters, the responses you give and the choices you make. While the 6 Episodes last you will meet a lot of characters from the big tv series with their original voices. The add a lot of atmosphere and make for a lot of exciting moments.
If you are a fan of the brand of Game Of Thrones then this one is a no brainer for you.
Unfortunately it is very difficult to get this game nowadays.
I guess there are sources out there....

So if you read the reviews you'd probably come away thinking there's issues with the storytelling, because a lot of them are vague "this was where Telltale started to fall off" and an odd number of people saying "your choices don't actually matter" (welcome to Telltale). Since I was curious how it only had mostly positive when I was enjoying it a great deal, I checked out some of the negative reviews, but none of the top level negative reviews I saw at a glance mentioned the actual issue with the game; it was obviously supposed to have a sequel. The issue with this game is nothing to do with the story itself. The story and characters are great, and the events are well interwoven with some iconic moments and characters from the high points of the TV series without feeling like those overshadow the new POV characters and their plights; it feels exactly the way you'd think a mix of Telltale and Game of Thrones would, thematically and narratively. If that sounds good to you, I'd still urge you to consider if you're willing to play through a story that ends halfway through as it finishes with the overall plot unresolved.
I still think it's generally worth experiencing if you enjoy Telltale games or want more Game of Thrones story since the show went downhill, but know the ending will leave you only to speculation because after 10 years it's unlikely it's getting a continuation.

This is where you will see the obvious decline for Telltale. It is alright but compared to The Walking Dead this is weak. Additionally it was never continued.
It's ok and all. However, the game pushes you to make bad choices that end up killing the characters, no matter what you do. So, what's the point? The maker of this game wanted us to suffer?
Good for its time when it came out around S3-4, the story was quite good and it was interesting to see Game of Thrones as an interactive visual novel.
no real choices at all, some situations are really stupid, but it's still interesting to think which path is more/less moral, even you know everything is already predetermined
Great voice acting. Good soundtrack. Very faithful to the show in terms of atmosphere and vibes. Solid writing, for the most part. Decent illusion of choice at first, but one that's quickly destroyed as soon as you replay a section or chapter.
I hate to give this game a thumbs down, but I have to. The choices are the bread & butter of this Telltale game, and yet, they are by far the weakest part. The more I played, the more impotent I felt. I didn't get the impression that I was given any agency as a player, or any opportunity to meaningfully impact the story. Once you realise this, choices become annoying slaps in the face as you're railroaded down the same paths regardless.
Ultimately, I came away frustrated and disappointed.
It's absolutely worth a try if you're interested (if Steam ratings weren't binary, I'd give this a 6.5/10), and especially if you like Game of Thrones/ASoIaF... but don't expect meaningful interactivity. This series makes Telltale's other work - Walking Dead, Borderlands, and Wolf Among us, to name a few - look like Planescape Torment or Alpha Protocol.
Branching and reactivity were obviously afterthoughts here. I even get the feeling that the game is hostile to me as a player; that it sees me as a hindrance.
Nice offbeat story about other lower houses
All of the decisions you made in the game, basically do not change anything in the overall. It is even for than the series. The good always sucks, Bad always win. And at the end of the game, you wont be happy whatever you choose:D Have fun.
