It's Bejeweled 2. If you don't know what it's about, it suffices to say that it's probably the PEAK of the Bejeweled series. The AXIS MUNDI. The APEX PREDATOR. The T-Rex to Bejeweled 3's allosaurus and Bejeweled Twist's velociraptor. God I fucking love Bejeweled.

Still an enjoyable game despite it's minor annoyances such as timed hints, various needless background processes, and the distracting warning sound in time mode.

You can overwrite the warning sound with silence to disable it - it's /sound/warning1.ogg, Though just removing the file might also work.

If you remember the big chunky home computers of the 90s and 2000's and the few games it had, then get this one, I remember playing this with my family when i was six and we kept scores of our high scores in the fun competitive nature it brought to the fam, the nostalgia though will be a big factor for there's a subtle lag that the og had as well but if you can ignore it then it is truly worth the time and money.

This game gives me PTSD of being a college kid with a huge crappy laptop and playing this game when I knew full well that a paper was due in just a couple days. Every time I beat a level and warped to the next level, it would be a tiny hit of dopamine that would stave off my growing levels of panic -- I would feel, very briefly, like I had accomplished something, with the full crushing weight of deadlines bearing down on me.

Yes, just playing this game once again makes me quake in fear.

But aside from that, it's a great game. One of the original 'match the gem' games from forever and ever ago. Beautiful graphics, multiple game modes (including a wonderful 'infinite' mode), engaging music, high score lists... what's not to love?

This is an epic classic from a long time ago that is EASILY worth the five dollar full price. I would recommend to anyone.

Especially those who can play this and won't have the nightmare of putting off college assignments re-visit them from days gone by.

This is one of my favourite games of all time. I have been playing Bejeweled 2 Deluxe since I was a child, ever since my mother introduced me with it. You can play the Classical section and create a high score so you can keep beating it and see how big you can get your high score or, if you want a relaxing session, choose Endless. No time limit, no level limit and you can play till your hearts content. With beautiful backgrounds and background music it truly is one of the best relaxing games after a hard day's work. I could not recommend this game more and it is one of my all-time favourites.

My god, this game is breathtakingly beautiful and it has no reason to be but it IS. The space backgrounds are downright mystical and the music makes you feel like you've transcended. Combine that with the sleek, futuristic gameplay grid and the opulent shine of the gemstones and it's straight up magical to look at. This game is extremely relaxing and inspires a lot of thinking, especially for the Puzzle mode and the bonus modes like Twilight. Definitely one of PopCap's best.

The sequel of the original 3-match game where other titles like Candy Crush got their inspiration from.

I remember this franchise from the time that you could play it for free as an official flash game (although with limited features to promote the full paid version), and that you could also play it for free against others when chatting them via MSN-Messenger.

The gameplay is both relaxing and challenging and the other game modes can either be more tense or zen.
More game modes can be unlocked the more you progress in each mode that are already available (you can look up its Wikipedia page if you want to know which prerequisites must be met if you want to unlock a certain new game mode).

Furthermore, the soundtrack of this game combined with its space theme is amazing.
Although, the graphics may look a bit outdated.

The best of all, since this is from a previous era: no microtransactions and no barriers (like limited lives that recover slowly with time) that push you to pull out your wallet and hamper your experience when your'e not willing or able to pay to continue.

This may be an old game, but I recommend it for anyone who want to play a 3-match game without any nonsense the other more modern free-to-play titles in this genre might have.
