This was one of the first Lego games I played as a kid even though I didn't watch the clone wars TV show, after watching the clone wars I realised how massive the character roster for this game is even minor character are in the game (e.g: R3-S6, that one general Gervious astromech droid ). I like the new game modes they introduce, for example there is a mode where you can 1 v 1 and i know this isn't new but in this one you have destroy each others base in order to win ,There's also time trial for destroying AI enemy bases with limited vehicles at your disposal. Another thing I like is the fact that it has the original Lego comedy where instead of saying what they are doing they act it out. Pretty solid game.

Fun Lego game with very good levels

So while I will say this was my childhood game back on the Wii and I 100% it out of a personal obligation, I will say a few things that I think hold this game back despite being an old favorite of mine.

For starters, the Ground Assaults and Space Missions. While they are nice at first, they tend to get annoying after a while since in flight the ships control weird and the aim assist isn't very reliable, not to mention the Ground Assault missions are UNGODLY tedious if chasing full completion.

Also another thing that I think held this game back was the fact that the show wasn't fully completed by the time this was released so the story feels fragmented and cluttered because of it, with only two parts of the game making sense since they all connect back to back in a chronology, (i.e Ryloth Missions or the Malevolence)

But I will say that the roster of characters is pretty good and the main missions themselves are still fun as well as this game having that old LEGO humor and charm that feels lost in newer installments

All in all, this game is still good and even to this day actually runs pretty well on PC (Only issue was V-Sync being turned off bugged Artoo's hover ability :/) so I can recommend it for someone looking for more of a Star Wars or LEGO fix

It's a great game! They actually took a few risks by bringing new ideas to their formula. The gameplay is sometimes a bit repetitive, especially in the ground battle levels (the ones where you take out enemy buildings and build your own). But it still has its lovely LEGO aesthetic and signature humor.

this game is quite underrated i think, i miss playing this game for the first time and exploring every single new area in the hub world, i love the concept of the ground assault portions as it's so fitting for what the clone wars really is; although the game mechanic itself could use tweaking. if they somehow made another clone wars game like this i would be sooo happy but that is delusion

it is kind of good

I cant begin to say anything about this game without prefacing that i had to play it twice because a gold brick glitched on me at 99% the first time. This game is not bug free and you have to be willing to start over if you decide to 100% this game. Its a lot of fun when its not glitching out but the game does feel drawn out being about a series that was incomplete at the time of production. I can recommend this but i cant say ill touch it again.

Star Wars in Lego. Puzzles, some of the stages are a bit weird but mostly complete-able. Kinda moot since you can get the saga now.

I recently dove back into "LEGO Star Wars 3: The Clone Wars," and I have to say, it was a blast! From the moment I started playing, I was drawn into the mix of LEGO charm and the iconic Star Wars universe. The graphics have a fun, playful style that really brings those classic characters to life.

The game allows you to explore various planets and engage in fun missions, which are not only entertaining but also filled with humor that is very much in line with the spirit of Star Wars. I loved the variety of characters to choose from; each had their own unique abilities that added layers to the gameplay. Whether you’re darting around as Anakin or shooting blasters with Ahsoka, each playthrough feels fresh.

What really impressed me was the co-op mode. Playing with a friend made the experience even more enjoyable. We teamed up to solve puzzles and take on battles together, which created some hilarious moments. It’s perfect for families or anyone who wants to relive the nostalgia of both LEGO and Star Wars together.

The levels are crafted in a way that makes them engaging without feeling frustrating. I appreciated the balance between action and puzzle-solving, keeping me on my toes but never overwhelming me. Plus, the ability to build and create your own vehicles and structures was an exciting addition. It felt satisfying to see my own designs come to life during the gameplay.

Overall, "LEGO Star Wars 3" is a fantastic game that captures the essence of both LEGOs and Star Wars. Whether you’re a longtime fan or new to the franchise, there’s so much fun to be had here. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a lighthearted gaming experience!

best lego star wars out there would buy ten times over

I looked at this game with some rose-tinted nostalgia goggles when I started playing it, but the more and more I played and went through the motions, I found that it is still fun, but just very strange. The parts that they would omit from the actual Clone Wars episodes were very sporadic and questionable at times. Sure they don't want the violence in a kids game, buy Indiana Jones and the Complete Saga told the same stories as their respective franchises without compromising for the LEGO humor. The humor is more of an upfront thing in this game, for better or worse. Ground battles was clearly the thing that they hyped this game up for, and it's novel the first few times you play it, but 100%ing the ground battles for each faction gets BORING. There are space levels, but why not have Air Assaults in place of some of the Ground Assaults for some of these planets, the gameplay gets really repetitive. I can still appreciate the old schoolesque feel this game brings, and it does have a charm of being an older game. The LEGO charm is not yet lost here; 8/10

Peak fiction

The best LEGO Star Wars game hands down, it gives you an actual feeling of galactic warfare and participating in it, which is also contributed by the RTS game mode and space missions.
It is basically "This is where the fun begins" if it is a LEGO game.

Never played this game back when it originally released but as a die-hard Clone Wars and Star Wars fan, I can say this is a thoroughly enjoyable experience and a great way to revisit one of my favorite shows.

It's so much fun to play levels that outline different episodes of the animated series. Every level is a different episode.

Played it as a kid! still fun to me but i had to turn on v sync to make some parts of the game work

I remember playing this all the time as a kid and was hyped to see it on sale so I can relive the game I once loved. Although I cannot say it was all peaches and cream. I can only kinda recommend this game to see what one of the better LEGO Star Wars games looks like.

There are way to many bugs with the astromech droids not flying properly, some characters you need to purchase just dont spawn, several crashes, some audio issues that almost messed up my speakers, and minor here and there bugs that mostly annoyed me than anything else.

I 100%'d my save file, and immediately uninstalled the game. As of writing this review, I am reminded of the fun conquest-like battles and fun characters. I'd buy it on sale, and have some fun, then leave it in the past.

Complete Saga is better in several ways and much more polished than this game.

Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars is a game pretty underrated. This is of course a Lego Star Wars game set in the Clone Wars, and in this, the player must play 3 different campaigns: Assajj Ventress', Count Dooku's, and General Grievous', which once all complete, lead to the ending with the Zillo Beast (This isn't even a spoiler since it literally says this in the About This Game section), of which is a really confusing boss fight. This Lego game, whilst having traditional Lego game mechanics, also has these large-scale war levels, which are fun at first but quickly get repetitive over time due to the amount of them there is. I wouldn't consider this to be better than LSWTCS, however there is some occasional improvements here and there shown in things such as the graphics, split-screen, and that one purple orb mechanic that was extremely stressful back in LSWTCS, which now is easier to use. All in all I definitely recommend giving this game a go, my favourite level has to be the Assajj Ventress boss level that happens early on.

Amazing lego game. One of the best. Minimum pc requirements: is a pc. The game is really smooth. I played it on a laptop connected to my tv. The laptop had 8gb ram and the game ran smoothly.
