This game is super fun and challenging
Really cool
this is one of those games that will last through the ages, I hope to see a Vagante 2 at some point in time, definitely get this game and give it a play :)
My All-time favourite Rogue-like.
Extremly frustrating and punishing game, yet it rewards experienced players like no other games in this genre.
Get a friend to play with it, it's one hell of a ride, especially on hard mode.

It's a really good game def worth being played in 2024. It gets even better if you have friends (4player local or online co op) to play with.
It's like spelunky but with RPG elements. It has that great mix of being difficult but makes you feel incredible once you start a good run and progress beyond where you've previously reach
This is a brutal dungeon crawler with a pretty high skill floor, but quite rewarding for those that stick with it. There's almost always something you can learn to do better, and even 60 hours, in, I'm still learning fun new builds, even on characters I thought I wouldn't like. Giving this one a conditional recommend, if you've got a co-op group that can take a few beatings and get back up for more, you'll love Vagante.
This is likely my favorite game, the game is atmospheric, its engaging, its fast paced, it has so many builds and play-styles, and most of all its just really fun, its hard don't get me wrong and you sure as hell will die but you'll get up and go strait back into the dungeon. 10/10

A very underated roguelike in my opinion. It has everything i want from this genre. Lot of loots, class build, and fun!
Challenging little roguelike that's been converted into a charming 2D platformer. Shades of Nethack in this one.

Great little roguelite that has similarities to Splunky but also includes an rpg class and progression system as well as equipment and weapons with randomises stats and abilities
Great coop game
Rarely are games this good and fairly unknown. Once you have yourself at least one person to play this with, you will most likely have the best dungeon crawling experience you could wish for.
The levels get progressively harder and it's unlikely you will have a successful run without experiencing a lot of game overs to get a hang of the character builds, equipments and most importantly your actions. Vagante will immediately punish you for overextending, being clumsy and also experimenting, but it also rewards you with enough coherent mechanics that you can exploit with knowledge gained before.
The soundtrack and overall artworks will give you a beautiful and distinctively different atmosphere for each stage. Vagante has a lot to offer for the sophisticated rogue like dungeon lovers! Pick it up and get a friend to join - this is what couch coop should feel like!

Awesome game, and its been great to see how it developed and how well its been polished. Like it good book, finishing it only makes me wish there was more.
Hard and fun random generated dungeon crawler!
Multiplayer stopped working for some reason. Not sure why but this game pretty much requires friends to play and you can't play with friends.
Keep coming back to this when I have the emotional energy. Not outstanding, but good enough to stick in my brain, apparently
I keep coming back to this game despite being trash at it. Just when I decide that I'm going to stop playing, I'll have a good run and ALLLLLLLLLMOst beat it. After getting so far, I'll begin a new run with a newfound sense of confidence only to be crushed by a boulder in 1-1.
