As a member of the Aquadelic GT league you will fight to win cash prizes and the support of fans around the world, from the rivers of Russia and the ports of Greece to luxurious Caribbean islands. You'll have to beat rival racers to the finish, and it won't be easy as you're all armed to the teeth with shark torpedos, dragnets, balloon bombs and exploding frogs!
As your fame grows, you can land bigger and bigger sponsors – who will pay you even more money! You may be starting in a ramshackle old tub of a boat, but in no time at all you'll be able to buy a fancy speedboat, or a classy catamaran. Turn your newfound fame into money, and spend it to buy lavish new homes. Why live in an apartment in Russia when you could buy your own Caribbean mansion? Between races, you can move around the world looking for sponsors, giving taxi rides, helping out people in need, or even going for joyrides in seaplanes.

Just my childhood memory. 10/10 will play again
Way back in the day I remember playing this game and thought it was good. I also remember not knowing that to do next to go on to another map. Well I eventually did and I gotta say this game is pretty repetitive and fairly simple. Once you're done this game you'll never want to go back. I will say the graphics were pretty okay. The water had nice effects while scenery and boats looks dated. Not much to say here...
You'd expect a 15 year old racing game to be pretty meh but I was pleasantly surprised by this game. The racing is pretty fun and the career mode is built out to the point where you have to gain sponsors.
Definitely worth the $5!
This game is close to my heart because it marks the year I got my very first PC when I got into highschool in 2008. It was big deal because I live far into Eastern Europe. Things were different back then.
Played on GeForce8500GT, AMD Athlon X2, 512RAM memory, 80GB HDD. Never finished the game back then.
I bought it for the memories, finished the game and made peace with past. Now my heart has one more reason to be fulfilled. ^_^
About game:
-Water looks amazing even today considering the time when this game was made
-Progress to the next level feels quite nice due to multiple ways to make money for better boats : boat taxi for clients, races, seaplane missions ^^
-Soundtrack is amazing. Has a wide variety of songs and type of music and can be easily selected (or disabled) from in-game. From punk style, to old house from 2000's, to vibes from Brazil beaches. My favorite song is this one : https://youtu.be/KUgiURTlks8 Reminds me so much of the early 2000's house music.
-Boat physics is a bit floaty when jumping into air, but they drive nicely on water. And the difference in steering, control, speed, handling between better boats is noticeable.
Fun to play through once or twice. Give it a try at least.
put in a few hours so far and overall i like it. havent tried changing controller settings for 360 controller yet but left stick for throttle and steering is annoying when trying to get away from a bank and would feel better if right stick was throttle left stick left and right steering with triggers for trim...or triggers for throttle(more arcade feel) then right stick for trim. that being said i was having so much fun i didnt even try to change the settings yet i just upgraded rudder in game itd still a pain by the bank with current boat but im still on the 1st boat. the taxi missions are fun but locations are repetative(at least so far). race weapons are a bit op but i love it that way lol

The physics of game are maybe the best of all boat games I ever play
The graphics is like freezing on many pc's until you find the best options
for you
old time fav , simple and amazing just one of those games that can come back any year and still find enjoyment
This is honestly an amazing game,
I first played this game many years ago, under the name "Powerboat GT"
Over the years I had forgotten about this game until very recently finding it on here.
The game has an excellent price, and is surprisingly more HD than I can remember.
The Soundtrack is lovely, so many songs which I love to listen to.
Too bad many of the Songs are near impossible to find on their own,
and some have been credited to pseudonyms.
The Campaign is a lot of fun to do,
It's great fun being able to pick liveries and horns for your ship, giving them their own identity in your Story.
Racing is really good but,
If you don't manage to be first at the start of the race you have very slim chances to Win, unless using "Missiles" and "Frogs"
overall it does give you quite a challenge which I do embrace.
Overall this is easily my favourite game,
The nostalgia, The fun, The challenge.
It all racks up to a very nice and fun game to play,

I cannot stress enough how much i like this game, i got into it when it was still known as Powerboat GT, and i simply loved everything, the different boats, the weapons, the physics, the masterfully crafted and beautiful maps, the very chill soundtrack, the sense of speed. To this day i haven't found a game similar to this and the company behind it created something truly wonderful, wish it had more recognition though. One of the only times where i wished i gave the devs more money.
Overall 10/10 genuinely. Would recommend.

What's good about Aquadelic GT?

- graphics are ok for a game like that - except humans
- a handful of boats to buy
The negative aspects:
- more items would have been nice
- lousy music
- only a few upgrades to improve the boats, but like 10 million customization options for the horn - a button that has no use, I repeat: no use at all in this game
Result (and summary for those who have no time reading):
Aquadelic GT is quite an entertaining alternative when it comes to fun racing, as it has boats to race with. Unfortunately, the pleasure turns out to be short, as the campaign is over quickly. Also, the game lacks content, which keeps replayabilty generally low.
On balance I still recommend it if you're interested in fun racing and speedboats.
Better than GTA, Forza, CS:GO,... Just the best game in the world. :D

Aquadelic GT is a decent boat racing game with weapons. Boat, weapon and track variety are good enough for a few hours of game time. It has a basic progression system that consists of getting money or popularity to imporove your boat or get sponsors. Most maps have about 3 races to complete and upon winning most of the races in a map you will unlock the next map. Boat shops are located on specific maps which will open up new boat options as well as upgrading the opponents boats to maintain difficulty. Sponsors will unlock as you gain popularity and will apply bonuses to you cash and popularity income. The biggest shortcoming of the game are the controls on an Xbox 360 Controller, with the Left Stick controlling both forward/reverse as well as steering. On top of the poor control scheme control rebinding is not an option. Some boats are also to nimble for their own good as a slight adjustment to direction will result in a complete loss of stability, losing you time or in worst case scenarios putting you in a position requiring a reset and potentially losing you the race. The AI is also very lacking, while their fixed racing lines that vary from one another is an okay solution, their inability to avoid obsticles such as land results in some races becoming very easy if you can identify where the AI will have issues. The AI also uses weapons the instant they think they have a valid target which means as soon as they pick up a weapon, they will generally fire at that exact moment. This can get frustrating with EMP's as the 1st boat to hit a weapon can drop an EMP causing all racers including itself to travel in a straight line for quite some time.

Really awesome casual racing game. Reminds me about NFS Underground 2. Beautiful locations, ambient ost and good(for me at least) physics. Completely worth its price.
Oh my! I used to have a CD of this lying around ages ago and I picked it up immediately when it came up on Steam, because it was just a fiver.
It's a pleasant boat racing / freeroam cruising game with a lot of unlocks, a handful of pretty, visually distinct locations and a great chilled-out soundtrack. Don't expect anything amazing with that price tag. The game is a competent, pleasant little package nonetheless.
It's not too bad. No way to configure controller though, which IS bad. Perhaps someone can make a mod to do so, if the company refuses or can't. (just a thought.)
For the price this is totally Worth A Buy!
But do not expect many game modes or a long campaign/story (multiplayer i have not played)
instead expect a grind through the singleplayer with nice water details and boat feeling combined with weapons/boost + you can upgrade all boats (but beware some of them do not need better sterring)
ps. would easy had paid twice as much or more ^^
all i can say is that russian game developers need more confident and believe more in them self (you got the skillz)

I bought this game on impulse, because of the low pricetag and the inability to resist. I have to say, I'm positively surprised by what I got. Note that this game was originally released in 2008 (according to the official website) It made it's way through Greenlight and was released on Steam this week.
It's an open world boat racing game, wich takes place in 3 area's. You start in Russia and move on to Greece and the Caribbean later. You can also quicktravel between the various locations in the game, once you unlocked them. You navigate to various point on the map to start races, taxi jobs, upgrade and reskin your boat or buy a new one, acquiring sponsors etc. You start your career with a crappy, slow and ugly boat. Races can be a bit dull in the beginning but with the various ways to make money in this game, you can quickly upgrade your boat or buy a new one. The upgrading ability is limited to just a button press for a better engine, to give an example. You can't choose between various parts. At least not where I am now in the game. While racing you can pickup powerups, like nitro or weapons to use against your opponents: rockets, torpedo's, shockwaves, mines, EMP's, oh and off course, bouncing, exploding frogs :) So if you are looking for a realistic boat racing game, this isn't really your thing. Then there's a mode were you collect golden coins that are spread out over the map. So another way to make money.
Graphics and sound are decent. Again, considering the pricetag, I'm just satisfied with it. Just don't expect super high resolution textures or cool lighting and particle effects. For some strange reason, the screen ratio in the menu's is 4:3. At least, on my system. However, ingame it all works with the proper resolution and screen ratio that you can configure in the game's launcher. You can set more graphics and sound options there.
I like the game's physics too. They are not hardcore offcourse but certainly not too arcady. The boats really have some weight to them.
The game has 'experimental' controller support but at this moment, you are better of with just the keyboard, wich actually works fine. The 360 controller does work. However, you can't remap the buttons and the layout is a bit odd and unusual. Gas, brake and steering is all done with the left thumb stick. The triggers don't do anything with the boats. I hope the dev will add the ability to remap the buttons in a future update. It's not a huge letdown. Like I said, the keyboard works fine too.
All in all, I'm very satisfied with this game, which costs the same as a cup of coffee and a snack. You really can't go wrong with that.
This game has my seal of approval.
I love how much effort they put into all the details, even if the whole game was clearly made on a budget, you can tell they tried hard to make it feel as feature inclusive and fun as possible.
$4 game has:
- Very good boat physics
- Fun, challenging racing
- Boat upgrades (paint, speed, sponsors, etc)
- Open world to navigate
- Non-racing ways to earn money (taxi people, look for treasure, etc)
- LAN multiplayer!
- Arcade and career modes
- Radio station with generic but interesting music loaded into it
- Very nice water graphics, including the boat "wake" looks pretty slick
I've only just started to play, but I've got a good sense of what this game has to offer. For the price, I am blown away, I expected it to be a stinker but it is actually fun to play. You start off your career with a rusty slow boat and no money and have many ways to earn it. Racing was too hard right off the bat so I did some taxi runs, then discovered this pirate treasure mode where they just literally scatter the world with money and you just have to collect it all. Well since there was only a couple of upgrades on the rusty boat I maxed it out and now need to figure out how to get a better one.
Some negative aspects I would say is the limited selection of upgrades on the boat classes. Maybe things get deep down the road but if the later boats have just one speed and one rudder upgrade I would be disapointed. Time will tell though as I venture through this title.
As far as graphics options and settings, this game is fully loaded. All resolution, texture, effects, sound (including # of voice channels), controls, AA, etc is all here in the launcher. Everything worked on the first try as well, no crashing or hiccups. In the game, it looks beautiful but the textures are a bit too low-resolution to be a game from 2015 however, they should work on that as the whole experience would be improved with textures many times larger.
360 controller works out of the box, but there is a chance it needs to be turned on before launching the game and selected in the launcher as the input device, but I can say that you can use both the keyboard and controller for at least navigating menus at the same time, which is nice.
