About the Game
Act of Aggression – Reboot Edition brings the techno-thriller RTS game Act of Aggression to a higher level. Act of Aggression Reboot Edition brings new features to skirmish modes:
- Streamlined Economy: Manage two resources: oil and cash, allowing you to focus on the action. Unit expenditure is up-front, meaning no more micromanaging production lines.
- New Base Building System: Like a traditional RTS, base building units are selectable. Build directly from the builder (or destroy your opponent’s builder!)
- New Airstrikes: You no longer control the planes mid-flight. They go directly to their target and strike, much faster than previously.
- Huge balancing update and unit model improvements as well as UI tweaks and changes: for example, all units now accelerate and decelerate faster, with more streamlined, action packed RTS gameplay.

Very mediocre, unfinished RTS. Forgettable factions and units.
I like it.
No real online presence, but a good RTS none the less. Great to play with friends or just to have a game against the AI.
Having grown up with the C&C-franchise, Act of War, and playing Zero Hour to this day, I very much consider myself this game's target demographic.
The fact that I'm straight up having a bad time while playing Act of Aggression should tell you how much developer Eugen systems misses the mark. Even after they relaunched the game, the gameplay feels like an unresponsive mess.

great game if you like rts form the 90s and early 2000s
If you loved C&C Generals/(Zero Hour), You'll love the advanced features in game with an updated/modern (decade later) feel. I Continue to play this every time i want a "More in Depth" feel to the overall C&C Generals game play.
Overall: definitely want to add this to your library...

Great game. Please update this game and add more factions.
It's a game that can be played over and over without getting bored.
Fun Generals like RTS but a lot more fast paced. Pretty simple gameplay mechanic.
The factions are very different and have very unique play styles.
I love the unit designs and the POW and rescue system. However, I will say that I have a huge problem with the games speed. Everything seems way to fast and jittery and I don't remember if there was a speed setting or not. I have played over 30 RTS games, and I love the genre staples (COH, RA, C&C, Generals, Dawn of War, etc), but I constantly found myself struggling to keep of with the AI
I will say, however, that the campaign is awful. The mission setups aren't terrible, but you can get grind down very fast by the enemy AI, and the Story....... Jesus I don't even know what to say.
If you love RTS, get it. If you're casual, maybe try it.
easy to figure out
A spiritual successor to the amazing Act of War and High Treason RTS games. It takes some getting used to and lacks some of the depth of the prior games, but ultimately this is a worthy continuation and can be great fun.
I am a simpleton from the 90s. I like RTS. RTS died in 2000s. If you like RTS you have to support RTS like this one, mindlessly.
That being said, meh from me. Kinda never liked the RTS of today style. All ways liked it having some wacky flavor like Russia goes to moon, space, or swords. Problem with the lower player counts you got to follow the herd. So if you looking for PvP go to the big ones like age of empires 2 or starcraft 1.
