This is one of those games that would be amazing for 5 bucks but a complete let down at full price.
Ultimately very fun, but it isn't as well fleshed out as, say the Tide games (Vermintide/Darktide) or Back4Blood. But it's fun, just set your expectations as a high-end indie rather than a triple A game.
Bought it on a huge sale, worth every penny.
Recommend to have at least one friend to play it with.

When you just start the game — you immediately get carried away in the game from easy to hard (or extreme). And despite how much you have already managed to play from the beginning to the end, taking into account the collection of various things, such as urns, cats and relics, in the end there will still be a f'ing dullness (that is, you will have to sweat over some difficult achievements, especially if you are playing alone) in the last unobtained achievements.
The game itself is almost like CS:2. That is, you run and shoot at enemies, such as zombies, skeletons, and then bosses, who after the current level can also become regular enemies, almost remaining the same bosses. And with each level, the bosses will increase in size. Oh yeah, and don't forget to loot heals and ammo, because the ammo is not infinite.
In addition, I will add that you will have to purchase several DLCs to get all the achievements.
I love this game, it was really fun to play through with my wife and the narrator is really funny, I wouldn't say it's worth it at full price but it can get discounted for like £2 so definitely good value for that!!
Fun gameplay and story, with lots of humour. Single player is not that good and kind of defeats the purpose of the story. There are also several dynamics in co-op that are strange. You don't get to split the money or gems, making it more difficult to work together. Also, truly a shame that there are no bots.

Minimum bugs basicly none. Only took me 3 hours to get a perfect game, so the game is really short so if you consider buying for a regular price its not worth it. Achievements poped like they should.

Simplistic short looter with easy to solve puzzles, which makes this a easy going game to enjoy at your leisure. Nothing will blow you away in terms of depth, combat, level design or story, but playing with friends adds to the enjoyment.

Gorgeous graphics and smooth gameplay!
Good solo but better with friends!
I was not expecting this to essentially be Gauntlet Legends as a third person shooter, but was pleasantly surprised. It is jank though, so your mileage may vary.

I absolutely despise the narrator at first I found him funny but suddenly it went downhill the moment we started to hunt for the cat statues , not sure who the writer for the narrator was but they are revolting , seems to be a cat hater and says unhinged stuff , keeps talking crap about cats and the last straw for me was when we shot a cat statue and he said too bad it wasn't a real thing , wtf? who wrote the dialogues? its not funny
Fun co op arcade style 3rd person shoot em up. Little puzzles and brigade is def strange.
Repetitive, boring combat which gets jarringly interrupted by mini cutscenes. Gameplay feels unsatisfying and controls weird on mouse and keyboard. Narrator dialogue is annoying.
Get on sale if bored.

Actually,i has been played other Rebellion games when i was childhood,such as the sniper elite 1 2 ＆ 4,its the biggest characteristic is the slowly rhythm and has the unique killing camera.
Firstly,when i entered the game,i obviously realized the rebellion game's charming，the game's setting is about exploration and beat monster,then found out the treasures. in the ancient ruins

i don't know how to call their names，i will attempt to describe their characteristics.
The basically creature is the respawn corpses,the danger is lowest.the damage is lowest.
and mummy,killer,skeletons,skeleton with the secondly respawn,private captain,and the other monster associated with the ancient egypt and the private.
My shortly review is not completely reflected the whole game's content,the comprehensive content is must to experience by youself. :D

A cool Co-op shooter that does not take its self too seriously, you could play the game by your self but its not as fun as it is in co-op maybe they should add co-op with bots, and make a sequel.
It doesn't take itself too seriously. Combat is engaging and fun. Interesting but relatively easy puzzles. It should add co-op with bots.

This is a great game. Sorry to see that there aren't any followups in the works. Very fun to play with friends. Environment design and witty storytelling set it apart. Lots of good weapons as well.

what even is this game
Beware. I'm leaving a positive review because I payed 4,00€ for the deluxe edition on a sale and bought a few copies for my friends. For 49,99€ I wouldn't even consider buying this.
If you want to play solo, then I wouldn't get it even for the 4,00€ on a sale, but in co-op it's a fun arena shooter for at least a few evenings. You have the campaign, consisting of 9 missions + 3 missions as DLC and a horde mode. If you've played any of the Zombie Army games, the best way to describe this is "Zombie Army in Egypt". It's a dumbed down version of it, basically just a reskin with fewer weapons. You're always doing the same thing, going from one area to the other, killing mummies, skeletons, zombies, solving a few easy puzzles, fight a horde, finish the level, repeat.
Full price, 49,99€ for the standard edition? No way, not worth it at all. Not even for co-op.
4,00€ for the deluxe edition on sale? Hell yeah, but only if you have someone to play with.
I love this game, especially since I got it on what I assume was an accidental sale of $2. It's easily worth double that.
In a world where every shooter is laden with gross zombies, it's refreshing to finally shoot some that are desiccated. Strange Brigade also takes on a golden-age-of-cinema storytelling theme with a bombastic narrator, black-and-white cut scenes, and colorful cast of adventurers plumbing ancient Egyptian themed catacombs in search of buried treasure.
It's a refreshing setting to be sure, but what of the gameplay itself? It's a fairly standard 3rd-person shooter that seems designed for 4-player co-op but functions just as well as a botless single-player experience. You've got guns with different stats and hordes of enemies to mow down. There's right-click to aim down the sights, and linear level progression with somewhat straightforward "puzzles" and secret rooms to keep things from becoming too rote. The boss battles, although not revolutionary, are noteworthy and interesting. There's nothing to specifically dislike except for the auto-sprint function that can't be disabled or toggled.
If not for the unique setting and framing device, it wouldn't offer anything new. However, it's a solid shooter that doesn't take itself too seriously, which, somehow despite the glut of games out there, is a novel enough reason to dump a few hours into it without regret.
Left 4 Dead meets Indiana Jones.
A fun romp with friends. The game has a good sense of humor. The puzzles are a nice addition to straight combat. Worth getting if it's on sale, but full price would be a stretch.

not bad, the gunplay is fun. but the only turnoff about this game is its not beginner friendly. like there's no map or any indicator. you just have to figure out everything by yourself. if you're not a genius or puzzle expert this game is gonna be a problem for you lmao. the only thing i like is how amazing the horde is, cool mummies and also the cinematography of the game. story is not that bad but the only downfall is its not beginner friendly lol

Thought this is a cool shooter, while fighting together with a team, Bit of magic, fun puzzles and nice shooting.
Team only appears in cutscenes. Magic is just a character ability. puzzles with no difficulty. They just keep stopping you every few meters. Mostly you just keep shooting. Hitting enemies without any impact feels bad. Also this is some kind of a horde shooter. You keep on killing a lot of similar enemies and clear one wave and move on. There are a few traps useful to get down a bunch of them. And you can get access to more gear after missions.

Not exactly awful but far from fun. Map design and guidance is VERY counterintuitive. The puzzles are way too easy to solve (once you actually spot the clues). Gameplay is repetitive, and the new monsters with their superhero landings are still the same thing with different looks and abilities--nothing game-changing that would make players adapt new strategies and actually collaborate instead of just point and shoot. Another major part I dislike is that I cannot tell the cultural reference of these sites. While the whole thing is themed around mummies and Egyptian crypts, I'm also seeing clear Greek mythology references like Medusa and Minotaur, and there are probably stuff from other cultures that I don't recognize, all of which is giving off a strong sense of cultural appropriation.
