classic xbox 360 game easy to beat
a very stupid and wonderful game that i loved when the xbox live arcade was still a thing
best game. i played it when i was little and came back to it today. i finished it in around an hour but boy was it fun. it might just be nostalgia talking but it is one of the best games i have played. :):):):):):):)

Bird Assassin is a 2D side scrolling shooter, in which you play a vengeful redneck on the hunt for the bird that killed his father. Over the course of 9 stages you'll be blasting birds, avoiding obstacles and collecting coins which can be used to upgrade your anti-avian arsenal. Boss fights and bonus levels add some variety, but most the time you'll be runnin' and gunnin'.
The gameplay is very straightforward, the graphics are simple (Flash game style), the soundtrack is fittingly goofy, and the whole thing can be completed in under an hour. I wouldn't have minded some additional challenges, like a time trial, or achievements for completing the game without getting hit, or without using certain guns for example. But at this price point, I'm not complaining. It was fun while it lasted, and it's a humorous time-waster. Not bad for 2 bucks!
Extremely fun game, with "Great audio". I found this game very worth buying (bought it on sale). Its a fun full on masacre of birds, so if you like "flash game" shooting games. THIS IS THE GAME FOR YOU. Its very short tho, it took me 40min to complete, so for 2euro you get very little entertainment. I wish they would have added some more upgrades and maybe more guns and lvls. Im gonna give this game 3 out of 5 stars.

There is no universe in which this game does not stand up to Hitman: Blood Money. It is the assassination experience par excellence.
...more seriously, it's a fun, goofy little platform shooter where you hop in your truck, progress down a path of levels and gun down hundreds of birds. Good for killing an hour or two.
Sadly, there seems to be no way to run the game in windowed mode, considering this is a port of an Xbox 360 arcade game. That's the only real problem, though, and what a problem to have! The folks over at r/pcmasterrace have no choice but to play this game fullscreen on their glorious 8k monitors.

This fox loves to eat chickens. So this game was a real treat. You get to murder millions of birds in a quest to avenge your brutally murded pa at the hands of the devil birds.

And collect the gold coins some of them drop so you can buy better guns.
A short game, but very enjoyable and hilarious redneck humor. One of those games you pickup for a buck on sale someday to have a fun evening of laughs. Recommended!
One of the more cringy games I've played. But if you're going into it just wanting to get a good laugh and dick around a little, it's a good game. Remember Angry Birds? Well, the birds are angry but it's nothing like that. Remember Nintendo's Duck Hunt. Yeah... you get to hunt ducks... but it's nothing like that.
I've thrown quarters into worse games than this. It's currently on sale. For four quarters I got some silly laughs out of it and killed a couple of hours. Once you get the chain gun there really isn't any challenge left.
I may play it a couple more times in the future just to kill some time.
Wish there was a little bit more of it though. Maybe some different modes. Maybe even a Duck Hunt mode would be fun for a bit.
Make no mistake, this game isn't longer than 1H at best. But if you feel like shooting chickens and you can get it for cheap, it's worth the 50 centes I payed for it.
It's a fun game but very short game (bought and beat everything in roughly an hour). I don't think it's something work buying though since it feels like a game you would play on some website at school. It will give you your $2 worth of entertainment and maybe a little nostalgia from school.
This game is like popcorn. There's very little substance behind it, but you enjoy it while it lasts none the less. The sort of game you play once, have fun with, and then forget about.

Not a bad game but only has 1 hours worth of content and no real replay ability although you can replay levels there is no reason to. The game was getting repetitive after only 30 mins. Over all 3.5/10
After three levels you can pretty much buy the mini gun. Plain sailing through the ten levels after that.
A fun game to start and finish on my lunch break, but really seems like this is better off as something free on one of those flash media websites.
Satisfying to blast huge endless fields of birds in the three 10s bonus levels, but too short a rush. Should be a survival mode in it.

Almost every game I have ever bought and enjoyed on Steam seems to get some bastard or other complaining that it's "too short" and/or "too easy". Well, this game is pretty much BOTH. It's also $1.99, LESS if you buy it on sale, so what the fuck are you expecting for your hard-earned pittance?
If video games were sex workers, this would be a twenty-dollar street urchin with no teeth and breath far worse than your dog's after he's finished licking himself clean. But hey...you're still satisfied afterwards, and can go home to your wife with only the faintest twinge of guilt, since it was all so fleeting and meaningless anyway.
Not quite as inspired as the similarly-themed Culling Of The Cows, and definitely not a game which is liable to please any of you hard-core "shmuppers" out there...but for the rest of us cretins with at least some semblance of a sense of humour, this is more-than-adequately amusing stuff guaranteed to keep you off the streets for at least the hour it took even ME to finish it (on "normal" mode, granted; so with a little luck, I'll get an hour-and-a-half out of "hard" mode, when I'm brave enough to chance that).

wow. from the time i bought it, downloaded it, and played it from start to finish, NOT EVEN AN HOUR WENT BY. just, wow. funny game, stupid concept, VERY short "story", and i don't really know if it was worth the $0.99 spent on it. i'll "recommend" it, but your choice based on this review..
The story is simple: Your daddy is killed by a bird. You avenge your daddy.
This game is short, but really awesome! Reach your car by shooting your way to it. Watch out for the walking/flying bird though, they can kill you too!
It's an easy game, it's almost impossible to die, but also almost impossible to finish a level without getting any damage.
After some levels, you get a mini-boss, well... mini isn't the best word, I'd prefer HUGE boss. You'll get the joke when you play it.
I would call it an AAA-game, but since that a cheap game like this one can't be AAA, I'll just call it a AA-game. It's only 2,99 euros and completely worth it.
Killing birds is the only thing you have to do. After each level, you go shopping with the money you got for selling the dead birds. You start off with a simple hunting rifle and near the end of the game, you become invincible with your hunting minigun, that's right, a freakin' minigun. It's gets even better! There is no reload and infinite ammo!
This game is great for when you got bored playing your 'daily'-game and need some relaxation. Personally I had a lot of fun in this game, too bad it will only take you around 1-1.5 hours to finish.

Yes, I recommend it. It's cheap and it makes you smile. Eventhough it's small, it's fun. Tips for the developers: Make an 'endless'-mode, just as it says: Running endlessly until you die, with maybe a leaderboard.
This game.... is silly, stupid, but fun as hell. :D
Get the minigun + some upgrades and you can clear anything without even trying.
Is worth its price.
Playing this game made my neighbour complain about the noise. Apparently she does not understand the fine art of avian slaughter.

I loved this game ever since it's release on the xbox live indie game market and I was glad to see it on steam so I instantly bought it. It took me 50 minutes to beat this game and I bought every upgrade in that time. This game isn't meant to impress it is surely made for entertainment and some laughs for a whole two dollars.
