Much like most Lego games, Lego Pirates of the Caribbean is a fun game with solid mechanics. You can play through the first 4 Pirates movies, and play as many characters. I really love the sword fights, the puzzles, and the usual humor expected of Lego Games.

It's not perfect though. I would've loved to have some segments where you play as the ships and fight other ships. Maybe some extra levels where you play as the ships. (Such as: The Black Pearl, H.M.S Interceptor, H.M.S. Dauntless, The Flying Dutchman, H.M.S. Endeavor, Hai Peng, Empress, Queen Anne's Revenge, etc.)

It would've also been cool if there was a red pirate hat upgrade for dual-wielding, considering some of the characters dual wield swords and even pistols sometimes in the movies.

For that matter, it would also have benefit from the inventory system added in Lego Lord of the Rings. that way several characters would be able to switch between swords, pistols, hatchets, knives, and whatever each character carries.

It could've also used a few more slots for characters like Captain Teague (come on, Keith Richards, baby!), Mr. Gibbs (blue coat), Will Turner (Singapore), Will Turner (Captain), Murtogg and Mullroy (pirate versions), Captain Barbossa (Revenge), and the 3 Imaginary Jacks. It would even be cool to play as Jack the Monkey, and Cotton's parrot (considering the Guard Dog is playable). There are also some generic characters that sometimes become playable in Free Play mode levels, who aren't in the actual roster. (Scarlett, Giselle, Pintel and Regetti (lady disguises), several generic pirates, and a couple of Royal Navy soldiers.)

The custom character creator can also use some improvements with other hairstyles and body patterns, hats, and even a couple of missing weapon choices. (like knives, grapple hooks, melee axes, hammers, melee spears, whips, bombs, spades, and big guns, even tridents (melee or throwing). And Blackbeard's sword would've been nice too.)

Those would've made the game feel more finished, but I do still love to play this game every now and then, and I recommend it to Pirates of the Caribbean fans especially.

Fun, but too many crashes. Needs save states or something to allow for saving while in a level (or a fix to the constant crashes) because atp you need to play through each level three times before you're done with it.

I really like Pirates of the Caribbean movies and I really liked playing thjrough this game. Still there are few issues. For example, the final bossfight is just atrocious and very unintuitive the first time you are playing through it. As always there are bugs and softlocks, but that is nothing out of the ordinary in, especially older, lego games. Game looks nice and the sound design is amazing, as it features the tracks from the movies. The overall level design was also enjoyable and I had fun playing most of the levels. 8.5 / 10

One of the best no voice acting Lego Games.

Very poorly done port, enhanced graphics crashes game, it randomly crashes with Vsync and enhanced graphics off, unfortunate this was one of my favorite lego games.

Absolutely love this game. Played this on the Wii when I was younger, and it is still as fun now as it was back in the day.

Owned this on xbox a LONG time ago and recently I got mad I didnt 100% it so I finally got to go back and do that :)

childhood perfect

Great game but I experienced a lot of bugs and had to reply the same areas multiple times which was annoying. Also I had a few crashes here and there. Besides those faults, I really enjoyed the game!

Really enjoyed the levels, unfortunately there was a bug on Free Play London Town and the Fountain of Youth but they were fixed by restarting the game. If you like other Lego games, you'll probably enjoy this too.

By far the best Lego game.

I have fond memories playing this game with my cousin on his Xbox 360 (good old 2014 times). I recently bought this game on sale and, even 8 hours in, the feeling hasnt worn off.
It's just an overall good game. In every way. This, plus the fact it has Steam remote Play support, is just more that I could have asked for.

I’m playing it on my Steam Deck it only crashed once and needs save points in areas then the whole level. I love that this game runs perfectly smoothly on the Steam Deck and on the dock to the TV so it’s better than Switch for a 2011 game. Nice lighting and love the music

Для игры 2011 это ахуенная игра с типичным Лего сюжетом, персонажы норм,уровни топ,задания топ, единственное хаб средненький,но ничего)
