ts has as much content as lego batman 1 from 3 years earlier and has crashed multiple times.
the only reason i got this game was because i liked the movies and unless you're just trying to play every lego game i wouldnt get this

edit: after 100%ing it, it not the worst thing ever but just because it isnt ass that doesnt mean its good
also the secret level for 100%ing is so bad

I really love this game and have a lot of good memories playing it, so I decided to get it on pc. The reason I am giving it a negative review is because of the frequent crashes. There's no telling when a crash is going to happen, and no amount of changing settings or optimization seems to fix the issue. Because I have 6 hours in the game (of which around 2-3 is me replaying what I lost due to crashes) I was unable to get a refund, even though I explained the crashing issues.

Fun game. The skills are fun with a good theme of LEGO and the pirates IP. The custom characters system is too simple for it to be usefull as it grants no benefits. Good amount of LEGO comedy.

Just 100% completed it with a friend :) great with Steam Remote Play although it does crash sometimes, but it doesn't set you back super far. About 4 crashes during 20 hours of play is fine by me. Would recommend to get on sale if you have someone to play it with you !

Not even kidding, this is the best Lego game.

It takes all the great attention-to-detail the early games had and fine-tunes a lot of the sloppier aspects those games suffered from. It’s also before they started making everything open-world and fully-voiced acted, which sucks the charm out of playing Lego Marvel or DC for me.

Lego Star Wars TCS and Indiana Jones 1 are great games, but they suffer from levels that are far too long and occasionally unintuitive puzzles. Pirates streamlines all that with levels that are colorful, vibrant, and fun to explore. Based on the first 4 movies, there are a ton of fun characters in this. Moreso than any Lego game, there are a lot of different “classes,” from cursed pirates to the Davy Jones crew. Each have their own set of abilities and powers needed to 100% levels in Free Play, and the game has a fantastic sense of progression. Like Lego Star Wars 3, it has a really fun hub world that opens up as you swash and buckle through Story Mode.

What rocks about this game is that even people who have seen none of the movies could get a lot of enjoyment out of it; it’s just really fun. Especially in co-op! While most people have nostalgia-goggles strapped on tight for the early Star Wars games, I stand firmly by this game being the best one.

This game is a "pirate's life for me".

I first played this game on the Wii in the 2010's, and I absolutely loved it! (and also a lot of other Lego games, but this one's my favorite) I'm really happy to be able to play it again!

Pros:
- Great Soundtrack
- A Pirate's Life for me plays when playing as Dancing Jack Sparrow
- Very Cool Characters
- Lovely Combat
- The Ride is a great Bonus Level

Cons:
- Collecting Minikit Bottles is repetitive
- The final boss is hard

Great game. Used to play this when I was a kid. It's basically retelling the Pirates series with LEGO humour (not including the fifth movie, just remember this game released years before that one).

There's one particular problem, though. Sometimes the game just crashes randomly. A bit annoying, since this game doesn't have the checkpoint system, so if it crashed in the middle of a level, it means you gotta replay the whole level from beginning.

As good as the old classic, but it is very easy to see they just ported it and published without having at least one person playtest it for bugs first. There are two major glitches that really stand out. First, the ability to jump while carrying something is broken, and causes a major problem in one particular level (Pelagostos) that I've come across so far. Additionally there's a problem with climbing certain ladders that is easy to get around, but still very annoying. I'm glad the game got ported to PC, but I am also glad I got it on sale.

Played this game a long while ago and got it again. One thing I can say is why don't we have achievments for this game?!?!
Xbox had them, why not here?

I'm not fan of LEGO® and i never played it at all but when i played LEGO® Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game i'm shocked it's was amazing and i became fan of LEGO games even the best things it's support ultra wide screens

Lego Pirates of the Caribbean is easily the best of the Lego games that I played when I was younger and it still holds up strongly today, it has the charm and feel of any great Lego game and includes all of the best mechanics from all of these, as always the replayability is a great inbuilt feature and going back for all the minikits etc is very satisfying.

The PC port struggles occasionally but with after turning V-sync off I havent experienced any difficulties.

If you're going to buy any Lego game, buy this one. 9.5/10

This has got to be one of the BEST lego games I have ever played- sorry REplayed. Played it on the 360 way back when and now got it again and oh my god, didn't age a bit! Single-handedly the least buggy LEGO game I own and THE most fun. Sure Stranger Tides is ight but goodness 100% it was so enjoyable. I genuinely got lost in the sauce of this game. Easiest Thumbs Up I have ever given. Get this game RIGHT NOW. 10/10 For 100% and 10/10 for everything in between. Get it if its on sale, get it if its $200. What a game. Ggs all around. Yo Ho, Yo Ho the Pirates Life for Me!

Game keeps crashing - and it's not as if autosave is often. Waste of time and money!

I remember getting this game for my little brother for our PS and even before that playing it together on my aunt's laptop; those times were absolutely amazing. Funny enough, I played this game before even watching the movies. Crazy, right? I still need to finish those, but wow, the nostalgia this game brings is unmatched. It’s such a fun experience, and I’d definitely recommend it. Play it with your kids, siblings, or anyone; it’ll be worth it. Trust me.

This is one of my favourite games I played on the PS3!! Glad ti finally be able to play it again, and so easily on my PC

The game itself is good, however I would not recommend it. It’s very buggy and you will often have to restart levels due to the game straight up not working or due to the common crashes. The game also has very bad hit registration when you are trying to break objects which can get really annoying.

Best Lego game easily, loved Norrington's death on the Dutchman where Davy Jones put his decapitated head on a fish and threw him in the ocean, peak cinema.

Game crashes at random, I couldn't even get through the first level without a crash. It's probably better to get a console version.

This is the best game ever made.

This is an early style Lego game. The characters are brill, cute and funny. The stories are based on all the Pirates of the Caribbean films that you play through. The game is about smashing things, collecting items and puzzling things out. Most of the game play is in the actual levels with a small open world. It is fun to play and it is for all age groups.

I made to the beach on the first level and it crashes and now I have to fully start over thanks Traveller's Tales

The fact that you can't skip a lot of the cut scene's is honestly annoying.
I play this game with my 4yo for short periods of time and it literally takes 5mins to get back to where we were.

I don't understand why they wouldn't let you skip.
Other than that, OK for co-op.
