Pure pain to play for any amount of time, I'm sure there's a trick to it, but when every run is under three minutes, the game hurts to play. It's like the game was created just to frustrate and irritate.

A very simple concept for a specific controller and a pure test of skill!
really frustrating game, not recommended unless you're really patient and you're dedicated enough to learn every boss pattern (which is RNG based...)
i really tried playing until the end... but it's too frustrating. RNG bosses, RNG minigames, you can't learn the gimmicks unless you spend tens of hours on it, progress is hard to see in this game.
A really challenging arcade game with creative use of the mouse exclusively. You'll lose a lot and get better and better with each new try. the levels and bosses are randomized, so it's not a matter of memorization, but of skill instead.
buy this game if you are a linux user, its great for to replace with a non-steam windows game or program you want to run in proton.
Sorry i have not played the actual game, but it works great for running other software because its a single exe, just rename it and and rename/link/copy your exe into the directory.
I have run winamp using this under proton 5.
A good, simple game that is deceptively difficult at first. Certainly tests your mousing ability.
It's basically just some dumb fun arcade nonsense, with a unique approach to gameplay. It's an absolute female dog to play, but I think it's fun and fulfilling in small bursts. Worth $5 for sure, and it goes on sale for $1 all the time which is a steal all things considered.
Pretty funny mouse precision roguelike. Be ready to get trolled a bunch of times and lose all of your progress to stupid mistakes.
Though, I would not recommend it if you aim to complete this game, it can get really annoying and the experience won't be as pleasurable.
P.S.: make sure you've got a good mouse (and hands)
Point Perfect seems like a unique concept at first, and it is.
Thing is though, this seems like a game thats worth maybe one dollar. Not five.
Only buy this on sale.
6/10
This game is loads of fun, even though it can demolish people alot, and the bosses are challenging yet memorable (sometimes for the worse) if you have the time i'd say go for it......also dont let the game know your getting mad, then the game will win
$5 for a game about clicking and dragging. Far from a fair price, but the way the game uses these mechanics and the personality in the game more than compensates. Buy if you don't mind dropping money on an anger-inducer.
When I sit down to enjoy a single player game, I want to do just that. I don't want it to take the piss out of me and dump me in the deep end right away.
You click and drag the mouse to make a box. Any enemies inside this box are destroyed. You can only make limited sized boxes. There are a few power ups and boss battles. That's all there is to it.
This game is tough from the start. No difficulty curve to get you into the game and make it accessible. It tries to throw a variety of enemies at you but in the end its just a click game that's hard to get into. Combine these factors with being berated if you play badly and the price, its not worth it.
Nice idea, poor execution.
It's hard to think of something creative or insightful to say about this game. There aren't really any hidden depths; it's a game where you click and drag to kill things while avoiding actual contact with them. What you see is what you get. Even for $5, it just doesn't seem as interesting as other free games I've played. In just 20 minutes, I feel like I've already seen all the game has to offer. Some interesting achievements might have gone a little further in expanding the concept, or maybe some more powerups and upgrades.
As it stands, it's just a little arcade game. Perhaps a good mindless game to unwind and abnegate with, but not great for extended play sessions. The frustrating difficulty (not to mention the game taunting you if you play poorly enough) and lack of depth make it get old fast.
All this game demands of you is to be on point perfectly most of the time... 99.99% will suffice.
Enjoy the workout.
it's fun, has a great idea, but the mouse curser is a lot bigger than it normally it is wich makes it harder, but not by that much
9/10 would point agian
Point perfect is a rage game where you are a mouse and you have to detroy enemies, defeat bosses, and complete minigames. In the game you begin with 3 classes: Vitality (You start with 3 lives), Utility (Your attacking square gets larger), and Greed (You get points 30 frames quicker than normal). I think it is a good way to waste time on a Saturday morning and will make your mouse skills increase. I give this game a 9/10 rating.
When this game was loading, it said
"TIP: You should do great with all that hand exercising you do."
...Let that set the tone for this game.
The game is super difficult but the bosses are well designed and fulfilling to defeat. Also it has a pretty cool perk/score system that makes it very replayable.
Point Perfect made me a better PC gamer. Now I finally have the confidence to talk to girls. Thanks Highcastle Studios!

Simple to understand, yet very difficult at times to do what you know needs to be done. The experience is frustrating as heck, yet I keep coming back for more... The element of randomness means each run is different from the last, and means you will be forced to learn from your mistakes and quickly adapt to any given scenario.
Point perfect is a really good, slightly rage inducing 8-bit game (a fantastic soundtrack by the way) with good mechanics, and great gameplay. However it is not quite a complete game yet, with a lot more options needed in the options section and only a few playable characters. However it is still a new game, and with the great reception this game has recieved I am sure it will further motivate the developers to make this game better. I am still new to this game, but my final verdect has to be 9/10.
