To move around in Roundabout, you need to time your limousine's movement with the constant rotation in order to curve around obstacles, buildings, and more.
Set in 1977, Roundabout tells the rise to fame story of Georgio Manos, arguably the world's most famous revolving chauffeur. While driving players around the town of Roundabout, players will learn about the dizzying highs, terrifying lows, and secret loves of a revolving limousine driver. You'll experience the seventies in the only authentic way possible: with full motion video set in the interior of a limousine.

The player is a lesbian who struggles to drive in a straight line. Her girlfriend ultimately says she'll accept her for who she is.
God this game is incredible. I love the goofy as heck cutscense, the main character is so awesome, she portrays so much fun and hilarity without saying a word, and the cast of goofy supporting characters are all a joy. The gameplay of driving a... Spinning taxi... Is both hilarious and absolutely unique, and makes for such a fun game. My only complaint is I wish it was longer, there was so much fun packed in this small experience. But maybe it's better as a short game, as best to not allow the charm and humor overstay its welcome (it never did).

Short Romp that Embraces "The Cheese"
Roundabout is simple, yet elegant & challenging game that embraces it's cheesy story & style. In Roundabout, you play as Georgio Manos, the world's first revolving limo chauffeur set in the 1970's. The limousine you control will be constantly rotating as you transverse the world of Roundabout. You meet up with various riders as you progress through the story, which includes Mickey the Mechanic, Elizabeth & Jeffrey the Skeleton.
While Roundabout isn't the first "rotating stick" game, it's the 70's B-movie vibes (as all the cut scenes are done in-limo) gives this open world game a lot of charm. I will admit that the game does feature a fair amount of cheap deaths as there's no i-frames when you collide into objects (excluding those "squishy" people everywhere & destructible elements), but death is only a mild inconvenience as the game pulls you back to the last checkpoint in a mission (typically just a little bit away from where you died)... UNLESS you opt in for the Permadeath setting to throw potential caution to the wind. Save system is very generous (saves almost anywhere you wish to stop... or at the nearest mechanics shop to you) & there's a LOT of optional content in the game. If you just stick to the storyline, you'll only hit about 30% game completion as there's challenges & hidden items (money & horns) to find throughout the game.
I definitive recommend embracing the cheesiness of the game as you give it a spin or two (or 360), you can way worse on Steam than this.
While the main-line plot is rather short. It was an enjoyable game. I just wish the main-plot was longer. Sure, there are lots of side missions. But after I watched the credits, I just feel like I don't want to go back in again. But, that is just me.

Pros: classy soundtrack, extras & challenges in the main menu, captions available, cheesy B-movie like videos with real life actors, goofy story & romance, WASD controls or arrow keys, left ctrl activates abilities, left shift is a speed boost, has a tutorial (it could have been better), collectibles, the limo instantly re-spawns after an explosion
Cons: only 3 save slots available, no mouse support, no graphical options, no key bindings menu, you can’t scroll through multiple maps, I experienced an audio glitch
Overall, a basic game with a ton of charm & fun, Crazy Taxi vibes, story campaign is about 3 hours long.
Roundabout has my recommendation.
