School Bus Fun is a time management game developed by Fancy Bytes / Reactor.
Gameplay / Story
It's about a mother who takes her daughter to school. But when her daughter's friends ask her if they can drive with her, the morning chore is suddenly no longer child's play. Invest your money in new cars and new accessories and use different cards to get the kids safely to school. Get to know the different preferences and idiosyncrasies of the little ones and try to meet their wishes. Otherwise they would miss school too.

Es handelt von einer Mutter, die ihre Tochter zur Schule bringt. Doch als die Freunde ihrer Tochter sie fragen, ob sie mit ihr fahren können, ist die all morgendliche Aufgabe plötzlich kein Kinderspiel mehr. Investiere Dein Geld in neue Autos sowie neues Zubehör und verwende unterschiedliche Karten, um die Kids sicher zur Schule zu bringen. Lerne die unterschiedlichen Vorlieben und Eigenarten der Kleinen kennen und versuche ihren Wünschen gerecht zu werden. Sonst würden sie ja die Schule verpassen auch.

Unfortunately this isn't a very fun time management game. There's very little challenge involved, and every level feels the same despite introducing new kids. The translation isn't the best either, which can be distracting. Normally I get completely into games like this, but School Bus Fun felt more like a chore than anything. The time played reflects finishing all fifty levels; I didn't bother to go back and try to get three stars, because the scoring seems very random.
It's exactly what it says it is - no less, but no more. For this, I give it a small thumbs up.
+ It's a solid timewaster-type puzzle game.
+ Entertaining and requiring mild thought.
- I think the devs could have added a bit more variety in vehicle upgrades.
- Shortcut keys would have helped some situations. In particular, there should have been a key to cancel the trip queue. There's a button to do this, but the fraction of a second required to mouseover and click the button sometimes makes a real difference.
- Some achievements don't seem to work right.
-- The theme could (and should) have been a bit edgier. The graphics and sounds are so stereotypically childish that it takes away some of the fun.
Fun game for when you ever feel a bit bored. Maybe that sounds bad.. but it isn't really.
How long did it take me to play all levels:
I played it out in about 3 hours in one day, just to test it out.. but I couldn´t stop playing and now I´m almost finished. Still have to get 3 stars for every level.
The aim of the game:
You get to pick up different kids and some kids travel alone, some don´t, all kids do not want to travel with bully´s. You really got to think which kid goes with which.. even for the sake of various bonuses. You got to upgrade your ¨bus¨ when you can, it´s fun since you will really notice each upgrade will do it´s described job. Your ¨bus¨ also needs repairs/fuel which makes it more realistic.

Not that I know of.

I´ll recommend this game anytime.

the feeling of regret just wont go away
i bought the game as i was lured in
by the look of fun right on the tin
So happy the children on the cover look
even though by school bus, their freedom took
they smile bright with their books
and i have learned to not trust their looks
but in the end it will be worth the time
as long as others heed my rhyme
school bus fun is not what it parades
unless you like compatibility escapades
