It's too bad that the devs seem to be nickle-and-diming people when it comes to new content, because the base game is amazing.

Pros:

UI kinda sucks - still some Chinese lettering when authenticating email etc
The progression is VERY slow- I'm still beating these rlly easy boring stages because you have to level up to try the harder ones (ive never played rhythm games so yes im not biased they are super easy a toddler could do it)
The songs are basically all the same
Limited selection of enemies
muse plus is $28 WHAT IS THIS - the game feels like a demo for muse plus because you have to buy plus to access all the better music, actual skins/characters and everything else. I would buy for $10 but 28 is insane. I would prefer if they just made this game cost 5 and plus cost 10.

conclusion:
basically no reason to not try it out. The cons list is long but its still definitely a fun game.

This is a really great game! I've been playing it for a month and the experience has been wonderful. The art style is very unique. The female anime characters are really cute, and there is also a lot of great music. It's a bit challenging, but it's definitely worth practicing!

fun and simple rhythm game. imo it's worth buying muse plus since you get access to all past and future dlc song packs (excluding some hatsune miku collab i think)

side note: you'd think i would've developed some semblance of skill at this game after 85 hours, but unfortunately that hasn't happened yet

definitely one of my favourite music rhythm games! the art and animation and music are super great too!!

Very fun though a bit too easy and needs plenty of grind to get to the hard songs if you don't buy plus

Good as baby's first rythm game. Too easy for anyone who has played one before. Can't justify paying 40$ for something that offers little challenge. Its still fun.

Just make the game more expensive instead of charging for hidden DLC.

this game is i would say like a beginner-friendly for people who are starting to play rhythm games, this game only let's you play with 2 notes, which is F, which goes upwards, And J, which goes downwards, i wouldn't recommend this game to somebody who is 12 and below without an adult view because it contains some kind of nudity, but other than that THIS GAME IS GOATED

I love this game but it is a tough one to recommend. First off, if you get put off by 'anime weirdness', you should avoid this game. I'm also not sure how monetization is now, I bought the no longer available Just as Planned DLC that gave me all DLCs current and future. I am not sure how much content is in the base game and how expensive DLC can be so you should look into that before purchasing.
But I love the game. Gameplay is pure rhythm game, only 2 lanes, simple but satisfying. While there is some questionable artistic content (that you can disable on a case by case basis), overall I like the art direction. It is colorful and energetic. I absolutely LOVE the cat versions of the characters, the 'sloppy' animation is so nice. Music is also what you can expect from an anime rhythm game: very anime sounding songs, EDM, meme songs, songs purposefully made for rhythm games.
Overall I recommend the game because if you ended up on this page, you probably are looking for a rhythm game and are ok with anime visuals. If that is you, this is a great game.

Muse Dash is such a unique rhythm game from the play-style to the art, everything about it is absolutely AMAZING!! There's a wide variety on songs and a bunch of different varying genres especially if you buy the packs (which I HIGHLY recommend), and the mapping on most of the songs is genuinely amazing, with a few exceptions of course. Muse Dash has to be one of the only rhythm games I'm able to consistently play without getting bored of, so if anyone is into rhythm games I'd HIGHLY recommend checking this game out :^] One other thing I absolutely love is there's a toggle in the setting which removes copyrighted audio that can get you in trouble on streams and videos, so for any content creators out there that is extremely helpful! :^D
My one complaint though has to be the fact there are a lot of suggestive art pieces in this game which I get it, it's not a kids game, but I still would have to say that I wish there was a toggle to turn that option off.

Muse Dash has lots of charm, and great tunes. The best part? You really only have two buttons, one to hit the high notes and one to hit the low notes... That's it! It's one of the most relaxing music games I've played.

Very cool game! Some Characters are explicit, though most of them aren't. i recommend this game if you like rhythm games and fun songs. The game is very cheap, but in store purchases i skim away from. you can unlock free characters with items by playing songs. Very fun while i'm bored or want to relax.

recently purchased when it was on sale and this game is an absolute blast! def a rec for those who enjoy rhythm. has a nice flow and a gorgeous art style, with awesome characters too and a nice selection of music, i love muse dash!!

game is fun but the mechanics are very weird for a rhythm game (e.g. characters having more HP than other characters, the ability to just spam both keys and not get penalized for misses), so i think this game falls under the category of rhythm platformer. im also not really a fan of the prevalent fanservice in the game (loading screens, character designs, etc) but it is what it is. the game also has a $45 paywall to access the full song library which i find really stupid considering the somewhat low quality of the game (even minecraft is cheaper than this) so you are basically forced to use a mod loader to access more songs for free. overall the game is fun but i wont recommend it for serious rhythm game enthusiasts

i LOVE everything, but there's one thing that dissaponts me. PLEASE BRING BACK HATSUNE MIKU. I bought this game JUST to see hatsune miku, but there was none of that, I checked the news to see the collab being discontinued starting from September. I know that this is my fault, but the news should've been shown clearly to show if there's something or not. But still, I love this game.

very fun if you like rhythm games but want something easy. the art is pretty too.

i love this game. the game itself is amazingly designed. you make an account and then all your progress saves. i enjoy the art style, its very futuristic and cyberpunky, and the game play is fantastic. its easy on the surface, but later on, the game gets extremely difficult.
However, one of the most important aspects of a rhythm games is the varieties of songs you can play. Even tho this game includes a wide range of mostly japanese songs, you CANNOT request or add your own songs. for someone like me who has played osu, where you CAN add custom maps and song, this is really annoying, as you kinda get bored after all of the available songs.
i understand how adding custom songs might cause legal issues and all, but it is really disappointing to see that this amazing game doesnt include custom songs feature.

Really good game. I always come play this whenever I'm having any suicidal thoughts, It helps a lot.
10/10 Recommended.

I got it for the Miku Dlc, it's enjoyable enough, but when there's that little joke that goes something like :"how old are the girls? you're asking too many questions" and the characters in this game are hyper sexualised it throws me off completely. I'm uncomfortable, not for me.

This game is good if you have the Add ons. But i dont reccomend buying.

This game is so lovely i did not expect it to be so nice. I also love the character and background/enemies and projectiles designs

It's good game and dlc is worth to buy when compare to value that it provided

+ good collab songs (I like song from touhou, arknights, blue archive)
+ It casual enough to make me learning instead of getting overwhelming (before I stuck at song lv.6, now I stuck lv.9)
+ good art and character design (except some costume that have good skill but art is nsfw imo)

- it torture when trying to get 100% accuracy

Great Rythm game with cute visuals and fun songs, I always play when I'm bored or waiting for my friends untill we can play something together. But it quickly gets old when you keep playing for hours on end ^^'

Can't really complain considering I got the game for $0.81

It has a really nice style that's just pleasing to look at, and the character designs are cute. Content wise it feels a little lacklustre, with some stages having challenges such as "get an A rank 2 times" which just feel like padding. Leveling up to get characters at random is kinda annoying. Again, I got it for $0.81 so some issues can be ignored. Unsure if I'll buy the DLC but considering majority of content is locked behind it I might consider it.

This game is addicting and fun BUT its up to you, if you like Rythm games. 👌ᗜˬᗜ

This is one of those games I really wish there was a middle option for. On one hand the game has a catchy groove when you lock in and start hitting perfect combos, on the other hand the game freezes and dies every other level. Fix the game so it stops crashing and I'll flip the rating!

Cool game, simple to understand, but imo a bit too sexualized for whats essentially a rhythm game, i bought it bc of rhythm doctor but was disapointed abt the fact it locks most cool songs behind a paywall and doesnt let the community make custom songs (i think, even if it is possible, not really accessible i believe)
if it wasnt too sexualized and didnt block cool songs behind a paywall i would have kept the game
