Muse Dash

My fav gooner game, I like the way that it plays a lot. I also like the song list especially since they put all the dlc into once purchase makes, it makes it very worth it. I always come back to this game every so often I could never leave it. The art style is also very beautiful, the bright color r amazing. Also miku dlc so 10/10

Muse Dash is a great rhythm game I love playing it and it's so good some people make spin-off versions like sweet sins 2, i like that game too, but point is it's worth every penny!!!

Now, if there's one thing i've learned over my time on the intranet, it's that i absolutely suck at rhythm games, but i absolutely love them. Or at least, i used to suck at them. i could never get the hang of games with 4 lanes of notes or weird aiming mechanics like Osu, so finding a game with only 2 lanes is an absolute blessing. i love this game, it feels so wonderful to finally find a rhythm game i don't completely suck at. XD
now all i have to do is work on getting faster. i've struggled my way up from lvl 6 songs to lvl 7. From lvl 7 to lvl 8. From lvl 8 to lvl 9. And now i find myself doing and passing lvl 10 songs missing only a few notes or in some cases, full comboing them. :D
i remember starting this game, loading into a lvl 6 song, getting my ass kicked, and thinking to myself "How could anyone's fingers move so fast?" and now here i am taking on some of the hardest songs and i'm actually doing well. My advice for anyone trying to get better at this game: don't be afraid to try something hard. Sometimes you might surprise yourself and do better than you thought. At the same time, work your way up one difficulty at a time. Master each one at your own pace. You can do it! <3

Muse Dash is a good rythm game. I really like the aesthetics, and the theme of the songs. I am still trying to reach level 9 though!

Awesome art style, very diverse challenge curve, and huge library.

As a rhythm game perspective, it is very fun and colorful! Tho the charting is difficult it's still fun! For the characters, I like to play as the more appropriately dressed characters such as Sailor Buro. I've never seen this game this game or wanted it for it's fan service. I'm just a rhythm addict!

i totally love this game because of the cute girls and the catchy music, but it's a bit confusing on most levels, where the notes (which can change throughout the song from things like bullets, ghosts, cowboys etc) blend into the background, making me unable to tell where they are. nonetheless, it's a great game and actually quite easy on full brightness, just wish they had an option to dim the background further. (maybe even to black)

I've seen people see this game and dismiss it as "horny game" which I think isn't fair at all. It's a genuinely great game. It has everything you would want from a rhythm game (I think? I don't know you lol):

- It's easy to learn
- I't has higher difficulties if you want something more challenging (and believe me, it WILL get challenging)
- A lot, and I mean A LOT of great music (some songs you might even recognize if you've played other rhythm games) and they keep adding more with very frequent updates.
- It's incredibly satistying (punching those enemies to the beat feels so damn good)
- As a bonus, really good art style!

What more could you possibly want?

The only rhythm game I have found that has playable levels that doesn't play at lightspeed or have flashing lights (cough cough Adofai and Geometry Dash cough cough)

Tonnes of songs, tonnes of challenge, even though its only a combination of two possible buttons. This is my first rhythm game, but so far, its been super enjoyable.

Plays great on SteamDeck, also plays pretty well via Moonlight to my phone.

Haven't played rhythm games in a long time besides Cytus! However, this particular game brought my passion back for rhythm games when I was around middle school/early high school! It's highly addicting and I could spend at least a few hours playing it! At first, I was honestly hesitant to purchase Muse Plus. Although, through progressing in the game I just bit the bullet and purchased it while it's on sale! Additionally, there are a few songs that were also on Cytus when purchasing Muse Plus. It genuinely surprised me stumbling upon them by happenstance! Overall, I would recommend trying out this game if you're into rhythm games!

Love the art style and the game-play is fun enough, but i dislike how the game is very catering to gooners with its characters + the majority of the games content is locked behind a 2nd paywall which is absurd. solid 6/10 game id say.

The game is definitely worth it's price (which was around 1 dollar for me on a discount), but it's quite limited without the DLC. To the point that more than half of the songs, characters, elfins and pretty much anything that looks or sounds cool requires dlc.

There are in fact different packs from just muse plus, but it doesn't seem like you can even unlock most of them without it.

Don't be surprised by the amount of fan service and don't let the gang see you playing this. There's are some.. questionable things.

Overall it's a good purchase if you like rhytm games, but expect to be pushed to waste money on additional stuff.
And if you're not a weirdo, you most likely won't like some of the characters' outfits.

Muse Dash stood out to me when looking at rhythm games because of the art and music choices so it quickly became a game I come back to time after time.

The game is very approachable for people who just want a chill rhythm game and the difficulty is also there for people who like the challenge. I do have the DLC for the game and I must admit to fully enjoy the game it's kinda needed so you have access to all the songs and characters. The things the DLC does right is that i enjoy the collab songs and characters they add. I know the DLC price is a big ask for people to buy so i recommend to buy the DLC when it's on sale.

Perfect mix between fun and challenging! My only big gripe is that I wish it was easier to unlock more illustrations, I'm getting tired of seeing the same ones over and over.

There *is* a focus on Muse Plus (additional paid songs/characters). But it's not too obtrusive and I feel the base game has a lot of content, so I don't mind it too much.

Been playing it a lot on my steamdeck and I feel like the controls work well and are comfortable. However, I do have to use the touch screen to get to settings. Other than that it works well on the steamdeck and doesn't use too much battery life.

Muse Dash is a vibrant rhythm game with easy-to-learn controls and charming anime-style visuals. Its broad selection of songs and multiple difficulty levels keep things exciting, while the cute characters and bright art style add to the fun.

However, unlocking additional tracks via DLC can be a bit pricey, so it’s worth keeping in mind.

I'd have to buy the overpriced dlc just to get my favourite cute and funny music from Blue Archive.

I can't remember exactly how it worked before but they replaced the dlc (I think it's maybe more expensive now) and changed some things that made it worse, but I can't really remember what besides the community disliking it.

It's an okay game but has an annoying unlock system for characters with abilities.

they got blue archive collab and nanahira honestly one of the best games you could ever ask for. Im waiting for another nanahira collab where we get nanahira character and this will be the best game

Ok rhythm game with absolute garbage and predatory monetization comparable to gacha games (Limited Time DLC packs). I have no idea why Muse Dash isn't even free to play, especially after all the crap they've done with their monetization. Don't waste your time or money on this doomed-to-fail game

When I bought the game a good selection of the songs they had were behind a paywall. What free songs I could play of this game was fun originally, but since then they have taken my favorite (free) songs to play and put them behind that paywall too. I don't understand having a paywall in a game that I've already spent money and bought, I understand even less why you would offer free aspects of the game and then later on put those behind the paywall as well. I can't even make an account through their own game to buy/save the songs I like. I'm annoyed to say the least, 2/10.. at best.

Really fun rhythm game but you also definitely need to get DLC

This is a very approachable rhythm game that is easy to learn but at the higher levels it really picks up. The songs are a lot of fun and the art design is bright and popping. The Muse Plus DLC adds a ton of songs and is a great value if you are enjoying the game.

Banger soundtrack and hitting the notes is SO satisfying. A bit simpler of a rhythm game with only 2 lines of notes but can still be quite difficult at times. Also includes many levels with unique and fun twists as well as well as tons of playable characters with different effects.

Muse Dash a rhythm game that came out in 2019 honestly i have a bit to say about this one and it isn't all good but lets get to my normal review

Pros

Lets first talk about the pros of Muse dash

First is the music yes the music is actually good and sounds great i really could just listen to the music all day if i wanted to

Second the fact that it is a Rhythm game it's simple but it works if your looking for something that will help you with reaction or just improving it this game is that

Third Character design it's ok it works for what it is while some designs that you can unlock either through gameplay or muse plus we will get to that con later it works.

Fourth is of course the direction they wanted to go in it makes sense for what it is but still may be hit or miss depending who you are

Now the many cons

First of all why in the world Make it 2.99 US then also make you pay for Muse Plus. This is absolutely a scam to make you spend money. In the End it also doesn't make sense as you only get about 62 songs through the basic plan. The Devs could of made this free with 62 songs. Then made muse plus 37 dollars or if they really wanted to make extra bank for the 500 songs added made plus 40 dollars. This also would of made people less inclined to have to feel like you have to pay to test the game.

Secondly what was the point of not making it free. I get that it takes money for the voice acting music and other stuff but why did they not make the basic plan free?

Third Not enough muses ok muses are characters i understand that but there just wasn't enough variation in my opinion that would make the game worth while.

Fourth Revealing costumes mature content suggestive voices you sure about that one. It almost feels like the devs were scamming you on this point. Looking at the costumes there wasn't alot that would suggest mature content. This point they made almost seems like a scam.

Finally Development it seems like it's still in active development but seriously in my opinion i just don't see how they will gain more of a audience if you are forced to pay twice. Once just to try out the game second to buy muse plus.


Anyway this game has potential and it could be a great game but honestly. It falls short besides what i mentioned i think that this game is as much of a lets cash in on money as we can. Which is why i don't recommend it maybe if the devs did what was expected from their outline it would be worth the time. Also making the basic free to play while maybe making muse plus a bit more expensive would considerably make it worth trying out before spending money in it

I absolutely love this game. I never felt so attached and so happy playing this, it feels so intense but feels great after succeeding.
I own this game first on my switch and my phone.It's also great to own it on steam.
But since I purchased it a third time now.
I am going to absolutely put so many hours onto this title and try my best to get perfect achievements!

You will instantly feel that this game was made for mobile devices. The anime style looks bad sometimes. The controls are oversimplified. The music is annoying often times. You really have to like K-pop and stuff.
I give this a positive rating because a few songs are actually good and those are the ones that are fun to play, and because the core gameplay is actually decent. And also because I got my sweet 100% achievements, which I'm grateful for.

okay so i didn't know muse dash existed until maybe a month ago when a friend recommended it to me. The first time i played i didn't really get it and just thought maybe the game wasn't for me but then i ended up going back and giving it another go. so now i'm in love with this game i'm like a level 400 or 500 in the game not too sure because i haven't kept track but yeah i def recommend this game to anyone who's in to rhythm games, its kind of like geometry dash but dare i say BETTER. listen just try it out for yourself.

A horizontal music rhythm scrolling game, Muse Dash has certainly the cutest and loveliest artwork and design of them all.

Control different cute avatars - which give you different game bonuses - and smash enemies along the way. Enemies and obstacles can harm you, and dying will result in a failed level, certainly an interesting mechanic, especially on the harder difficulty levels.

Commands are simple, only two basic controls, up or down, each of which can have up to 4 buttons assigned to it for faster smashing, which certainly helps in higher difficulty levels with enemies very close to each other.

The base game includes over 5 dozen songs that are all great to listen. Music levels are easy at first hand, and become progressively harder. Each level also has multiple difficulty levels, the highest difficulty levels are quite hard, and so there is certainly something for everyone.

There is also hundreds of additional songs, plus additional ingame avatars and artwork, that can be purchased apart in the Muse Dash Plus DLC, certainly well worth the price for those that love the genre and the base game. For those that are not interested, at least one DLC song is made available for free per week.

It is certainly hard to find something wrong with the game itself, even more so given its price is dirt cheap for the content it offers. 10/10

This game will probably be my gateway into rhythm games.

The gameplay isn't lewd if you're worried about that, just the character menu, loading screens and end of level screens. Everything else is just an eye candy vibrant color fest

Music in the base game and especially the dlc simply fantastic. Mainly covering happy hardcore, future funk, denpa-kei, touhou, kawaii future bass/ edm and plenty more sub genres

I really hope they add more tracks in the future, even from albums they've already picked from like moeshop, nizikawa, redalice and look into other artists like starjunk95, cosmicosmo and more

If you see this game on sale and the dlc, get it.

A pretty good rhythm game. Probably not the best I've played (the menu interface leaves something to be desired, the sprites for notes you have to hit can be quite large and start to overlap with each other considerably on the highest difficulties (but neither you nor I are good enough to be playing those difficulties regardless, probably), some kinda ugly decisions made by management (you can read more about that under the Off Topic Review Activity Detected zone if you want, I'm not getting into it here), etc.), but the base game was still plenty good enough to convince me to shell out for the DLC (it may be worth mentioning here that this was the now-discontinued Old DLC. which is slightly different from the somewhat-controversial New DLC), so it gets a thumbs-up. Even if you don't touch the DLC, $3 is pretty good for what you're getting in the base game.

Since it's a rhythm game without any bizarre gimmicks, you can get a good idea of what the experience is like by watching any two-minute clip of gameplay out there on the internet, which i think more-or-less absolves me of the need to get into any more details in the reveiw, here, so I won't.
