Banger soundtrack and hitting the notes is SO satisfying. A bit simpler of a rhythm game with only 2 lines of notes but can still be quite difficult at times. Also includes many levels with unique and fun twists as well as well as tons of playable characters with different effects.
Very fun game!! im a fan of rythm games and this one is amazing, only thing i wish it had was something to keep me playing, like to level up characters or something like that, but i do like the art unlocking method
Muse Dash a rhythm game that came out in 2019 honestly i have a bit to say about this one and it isn't all good but lets get to my normal review
Pros
Lets first talk about the pros of Muse dash
First is the music yes the music is actually good and sounds great i really could just listen to the music all day if i wanted to
Second the fact that it is a Rhythm game it's simple but it works if your looking for something that will help you with reaction or just improving it this game is that
Third Character design it's ok it works for what it is while some designs that you can unlock either through gameplay or muse plus we will get to that con later it works.
Fourth is of course the direction they wanted to go in it makes sense for what it is but still may be hit or miss depending who you are
Now the many cons
First of all why in the world Make it 2.99 US then also make you pay for Muse Plus. This is absolutely a scam to make you spend money. In the End it also doesn't make sense as you only get about 62 songs through the basic plan. The Devs could of made this free with 62 songs. Then made muse plus 37 dollars or if they really wanted to make extra bank for the 500 songs added made plus 40 dollars. This also would of made people less inclined to have to feel like you have to pay to test the game.
Secondly what was the point of not making it free. I get that it takes money for the voice acting music and other stuff but why did they not make the basic plan free?
Third Not enough muses ok muses are characters i understand that but there just wasn't enough variation in my opinion that would make the game worth while.
Fourth Revealing costumes mature content suggestive voices you sure about that one. It almost feels like the devs were scamming you on this point. Looking at the costumes there wasn't alot that would suggest mature content. This point they made almost seems like a scam.
Finally Development it seems like it's still in active development but seriously in my opinion i just don't see how they will gain more of a audience if you are forced to pay twice. Once just to try out the game second to buy muse plus.
Anyway this game has potential and it could be a great game but honestly. It falls short besides what i mentioned i think that this game is as much of a lets cash in on money as we can. Which is why i don't recommend it maybe if the devs did what was expected from their outline it would be worth the time. Also making the basic free to play while maybe making muse plus a bit more expensive would considerably make it worth trying out before spending money in it
Muse Dash is a delightful rhythm game that truly shines with its vibrant music and stunning visuals. As a player, I found the combination of catchy tunes and anime-inspired art to be incredibly engaging and enjoyable.
The gameplay is straightforward and easy to pick up, making it accessible for newcomers. The simple mechanics of jumping and attacking in sync with the music create an addictive experience. For those who are more experienced, the game offers challenging modes that provide a satisfying level of difficulty.
The art in Muse Dash is amazing. Each stage is beautifully designed to match the theme of the song, creating an immersive and visually appealing experience. The anime-inspired graphics are colorful and energetic, adding to the overall charm of the game.
It's worth noting that Muse Dash includes fan service, which might not appeal to everyone. However, if you can look past it or if it doesn't bother you, the game offers a fantastic rhythm gaming experience.
The soundtrack is one of the highlights of Muse Dash. The game features a variety of energetic and catchy songs that keep you hooked. The music is perfectly synced with the gameplay, making each level a joy to play.
A rhythm game that combines music and action gameplay with a vibrant, anime-like artstyle. You tap or press just two buttons to match the beat of the music, while defeating enemies and dodging obstacles. The simple controls make it accessible for newcomers, while the varied difficulty levels cater to more experienced rhythm game fans.
The visuals are colorful and lively, creating a fun and engaging atmosphere, and the soundtrack offers a great selection of energetic songs that enhance the experience. However, most of the music library is locked behind paywall(s), which can be disappointing for players looking for a full experience without additional costs.
Unlocking new characters and costumes can also be a grind, as it requires a significant time investment. While these elements add variety and replay value, the progression system might feel slow for those who want to try different characters and abilities quickly.
Overall, it's a charming and entertaining rhythm game, but its heavy reliance on paid content and grindy mechanics might not appeal to everyone.
I absolutely love this game. I never felt so attached and so happy playing this, it feels so intense but feels great after succeeding.
I own this game first on my switch and my phone. It's also great to own it on steam.
But since I purchased it a third time now.
I am going to absolutely put so many hours onto this title and try my best to get perfect achievements!
Wish me luck! :))
Very fun and suprisingly acsesibel. I have problems with my hands and with a controller i can play this on bad days.
highly recommend, great game with great rhythm with some cool soundtracks, some of the avatars a a bit questionable but overall an amazing game
Game is amazing and has a ton of content to offer, especially for the low price.
Okay rhythm game. 7/10
You will instantly feel that this game was made for mobile devices. The anime style looks bad sometimes. The controls are oversimplified. The music is annoying often times. You really have to like K-pop and stuff.
I give this a positive rating because a few songs are actually good and those are the ones that are fun to play, and because the core gameplay is actually decent. And also because I got my sweet 100% achievements, which I'm grateful for.
okay so i didn't know muse dash existed until maybe a month ago when a friend recommended it to me. The first time i played i didn't really get it and just thought maybe the game wasn't for me but then i ended up going back and giving it another go. so now i'm in love with this game i'm like a level 400 or 500 in the game not too sure because i haven't kept track but yeah i def recommend this game to anyone who's in to rhythm games, its kind of like geometry dash but dare i say BETTER. listen just try it out for yourself.
A horizontal music rhythm scrolling game, Muse Dash has certainly the cutest and loveliest artwork and design of them all.
Control different cute avatars - which give you different game bonuses - and smash enemies along the way. Enemies and obstacles can harm you, and dying will result in a failed level, certainly an interesting mechanic, especially on the harder difficulty levels.
Commands are simple, only two basic controls, up or down, each of which can have up to 4 buttons assigned to it for faster smashing, which certainly helps in higher difficulty levels with enemies very close to each other.
The base game includes over 5 dozen songs that are all great to listen. Music levels are easy at first hand, and become progressively harder. Each level also has multiple difficulty levels, the highest difficulty levels are quite hard, and so there is certainly something for everyone.
There is also hundreds of additional songs, plus additional ingame avatars and artwork, that can be purchased apart in the Muse Dash Plus DLC, certainly well worth the price for those that love the genre and the base game. For those that are not interested, at least one DLC song is made available for free per week.
It is certainly hard to find something wrong with the game itself, even more so given its price is dirt cheap for the content it offers. 10/10
This game will probably be my gateway into rhythm games.
The gameplay isn't lewd if you're worried about that, just the character menu, loading screens and end of level screens. Everything else is just an eye candy vibrant color fest
Music in the base game and especially the dlc simply fantastic. Mainly covering happy hardcore, future funk, denpa-kei, touhou, kawaii future bass/ edm and plenty more sub genres
I really hope they add more tracks in the future, even from albums they've already picked from like moeshop, nizikawa, redalice and look into other artists like starjunk95, cosmicosmo and more
If you see this game on sale and the dlc, get it.
since i found out brain power is in the game, i have completely gone ham wanting to play it. i want to look like the cute girls.
Muse Dash offers a delightful mix of rhythm and action that’s both visually stunning and audibly pleasing. With an soundtrack and charming art style, makes it a must-play for fans of the genre.
A pretty good rhythm game. Probably not the best I've played (the menu interface leaves something to be desired, the sprites for notes you have to hit can be quite large and start to overlap with each other considerably on the highest difficulties (but neither you nor I are good enough to be playing those difficulties regardless, probably), some kinda ugly decisions made by management (you can read more about that under the Off Topic Review Activity Detected zone if you want, I'm not getting into it here), etc.), but the base game was still plenty good enough to convince me to shell out for the DLC (it may be worth mentioning here that this was the now-discontinued Old DLC. which is slightly different from the somewhat-controversial New DLC), so it gets a thumbs-up. Even if you don't touch the DLC, $3 is pretty good for what you're getting in the base game.
Since it's a rhythm game without any bizarre gimmicks, you can get a good idea of what the experience is like by watching any two-minute clip of gameplay out there on the internet, which i think more-or-less absolves me of the need to get into any more details in the reveiw, here, so I won't.
Great game! Love the music and always adds more content without needing to pay more.
great game, great music, good feedback, huge selection of songs with something for everyone. Muse plus is a one-time purchase that unlocks almost all future songs as well as companions and characters (exceptions are tied to collaboration dlcs like vocaloids) 10/10, would buy again
Simple mechanics with a large collection of songs to play.
Muse Dash is SUPER FUN! 💕
the songs are amazing, the vibrant colors and the visuals are super fun (and you can also download all the wallpapers you get in game). The game itself even though you have just 2 buttons is very challenging!
If you enjoy Rhythm Games give it a chance to Muse Dash, you won't regret it.

I want to play this game for a long time ago, but now I have a chance to play it.
This game has so many good musics to enjoy the vibe with. The art style in this game is also unique and attracted me to stay in this game, too.
If I have more money, I would buy the dlc as well. I want to enjoy more songs and more characters in a game to play with.
Muse dash is for me one of the best rhythm games on pc, But I find it hard to recommend to others because of the artistic choices of the creators. So if you want an easy rhythm game to pick up but gets more and more challenging to master buy it, but if you have a problem with the character designs, don't buy it.
One of the best rhythm games ever made. Lots of characters and costumes, tons of playlists, unexpected twists with each song, if you only ever play 5 rhythm games in your life, this should be one of them. The only issue I have with them is their beef with Hololive, but that's between them.
Great Rhythm Game with only 2 key to play . . . but game so hard more than other rhythm game with 6 key XD
I Lovee This Gamee :DDD I Love Trying To Play According To The Music And I Love How Cute The Art Is :33 Great Gamee
Really great rythm game for both beginners and long-time players.
Controls are pretty simple but songs do get quite complicated and intense.
Music selection is quite wide with a lot of classic banger songs.
Also the characters are quite cute and varied with both abilities and esthetic styles.
Great rhythm game for those who like this type of game, not to mention the collabs that it has, which are great to have and be able to play.
Even after 500 hours still one of my go to games if I feel bored. Easy to learn but hard to master. Wide variety of songs.
Unfortunately the [Just As Planned] DLC is now retired which means new players need to pay more for all the songs but that would be the only downside imho
Easy to learn, much harder to master! Simple concept for a rhythm game but you better have fast fingers.
It's really entretaining and has a Wide variety of songs to play, with different levels of difficulty, is a good game to spend some time
Really fun rhythm game with awesome songs, and the graphic style is so nice too. It only uses two buttons but can be pretty hard on the highest difficulties. Only negative thing is the base game doesn't have a lot of songs, but I still really recommend it
game is very fun to play especially if you're new to rhythm game space as big variety in difficulties and songs can easy everyone into this type of game and besides that game offer outstanding visual style that's brimming with energy while also having cute characters (amiya my beloved)
This is a pretty good rhythm game that has been getting constant updates for a few years but the monetization is questionable.
They once had a DLC you could buy that allowed access for all future dlc for no extra cost but removed that, so now you have to buy all future dlc released, which can rack up the cost pretty fast like Payday 2.
If you bought this game and the removed dlc from a while ago, it's still a good play, but highly questionable for anyone wanting to buy into this game now.
fun and please increase the collab and also new songs, I like the design of the art work and the character, the game visuals are also good but the game sometimes still has a lot of bugs and errors, sometimes it freezes
anime boobs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! in all seriousness tho its pretty fun and i love the taiko mechanics, its pretty easy for long time rhythm game players but when you start to get higer levels it gets insane
wish there was more music and less barriers to access the music (pay-wall)
overall game is pretty fun! I still majorly suck at it though.
Amazing game with some of the best rhythm mechanics I've played!
Your enjoyment of Muse Dash is directly correlated with your enjoyment of A. K-pop, B. Cutesy anime visuals, and C. Rhythm games. If you enjoy A, B, or C, I think Muse Dash would be right up your alley, and with a simple $2.99 barrier of entry, I think it's a fair trade to give up a single coffee for a day.
First off, the music was definitely up my alley- I'm not a huge K-pop fan by any stretch of the imagination, but the music still managed to catch my attention and I still find myself coming back to listen to a track or two every now and then. It's very catchy and combos well with the gameplay so it's easy to sink song after song into playing.
The gameplay is also dumb simple to pick up and hard to master- exactly what you want from a rhythm game. Controlling your character is as simple as left and right clicking at the right times, bouncing between the upper and lower track. Most of what you'll see is notes to hit, but occasionally there will be hazards to dodge as well as pickups that you want. It's aggressively addictive, and takes next to no time to knock out run after run or restart if needed.
There are a load of different characters to unlock as well, each with a different passive or ability you benefit from. I didn't play on the hardest difficulty or anything, so I just picked whoever passed the vibe check while I played, but this is a cool mechanic to add and engage with. And of course, in true anime fashion, they had to add horny bait, which while not for me, will probably tickle some gamers' pickles.
It's cute, it's fun, it's cheap, it's easy to hop in; if you have any semblance of an interest in this, you'd be a fool not to pick it up. And if you find yourself in love with it, there's also an expansion with an absolutely criminal amount of songs, so you will never be starved for content.
A real good taiko style rhythm game. The only thing stopping me from buying it again is that dlc isn't shared between pc and mobile.
really fun and easy to learn game, a little annoying that most of the content is locked behind a DLC but that's really my only gripe. love this game and highly recommend it to any rhythm game enjoyers :)) also not sure why it's tagged as hentai or nudity lol there's sexually suggestive characters and content but there's no nudity or hentai
Incredibly fun however most of the content is locked under a DLC
i have no idea why they tagged it as hentai i can assure you its not it just has suggestive skins
its onto you if you want to spend 40 bucks for a rythm game.
I think the lite version is pretty cool, the leveling is alright.
but I keep it mainly because of the fan service.
are the 5 bucks for the lite version well spend? maybe?
do I enjoy it? yea?
One of the easiest rhythm games ever - there are only two controls! Just kidding. Muse Dash is easy to learn but hard to master. While I think I am fairly good at rhythm games, I can't beat any level over 8 stars - apparently the higher difficulties run well over a dozen.
We have to talk about the sex appeal. While there is definitely some lewdness, there is nothing very offensive nor is there outright nudity. Casual anime fans will find the level of sexualization familiar and far from extreme.
You must note that when you pay the listed price for this game, you are only purchasing a tiny portion of the game. Most of the content is locked behind a paywall called Muse Plus - but purchasing this should unlock all of the current and future DLC, so you will not need to make any additional transactions. Be prepared for content to run thin unless you are willing to shell out an additional ~$35 USD. This allows the developers to afford to continue to update the game, so it does not bother me very much. Still, users should know what they are paying to receive.
I love this game, i really do, i've played it a bunch and i highly recommend it to everyone but PLEASE for the love of god fix the bug for mouse players where if you hover over the health bar or combo count it won't register any clicks. I understand that mouse players aren't the main base but it is INFURIATING to have to focus both on the game and making sure i dont accidentally drag my mouse downward
There once was a DLC available to buy called "JustAsPlanned" which unlocks every single DLC on muse dash. unfortunately it got removed, due to increasing number of DLCs for Muse dash, JustAsPlanned's price was cheaper than the all the DLCs available that time. Now I regret that I didn't get the chance to buy it. But still, this game is highly recommended without any DLC and I love it so much.
really high effort/well mode 2 key rhythm game that tries to look like a platformer with spikes and enemies that are the notes
A really fun rhythm game! But to unlock all song you need the Muse Dash - Muse Plus. Since I'm broke right now, I'll skip for now. But for the free song it all great! Not to mention the weekly free-to-play music that only available on Muse Plus (If I remember correctly).
You literally cannot enter the game.
it wont let me start. cause unless there is a secret "any" button out there then i havnt a clue why it wont let me play anymore :)
Ignoring the lewd stuff - this is actually a really fun rhythm game with epic songs! Even tho the skins are fanservice, i am a fan getting served x3
when i played this my computer completely froze up and made sounds maybe thats what i get for getting this game why did i even buy this i could of bought robux instead
