Take on the role of ARID, the artificial intelligence onboard a high-tech combat suit. ARID's program activates after crashing on an unknown planet. The human pilot within the combat suit is unconscious, and it is ARID's duty to protect him at all costs! As she progresses into her twisted and hostile surroundings, driven to find medical aid before it is too late, the realities of what transpired on this planet force ARID to reflect upon her own protocols. ARID's journey to save her pilot ultimately challenges the very rules that are driving her.

Returning to The Fall reminds me of how games can challenge us in ways beyond just reflexes by forcing us to confront and question our own perspectives.
A classic story about the boundaries and personhood of AI. The puzzles are a little obtuse, the controls a little stiff and awkward, but the narrative still hits its mark after eleven years.
Really entertaining point-and-click adventure. It has a unique gameplay that differentiates it from any other game of its genre. The narrative was the best part. The mystery and intrigue are managed with seemingly expert hands. I love Sci-fi, so I'm biased, but the setting was super cool. Even though the premise seems generic, the story ends up being as distinctive as its gameplay. The difficulty of the puzzles might be my only problem. In general, it's pretty satisfactory, but there are some spikes in some puzzles that become insurmountable. I had to use a guide to get through. The thing is, the story had me so interested that I didn't really care. There are some surprisingly funny bits too. Check this one out!
A short game with an interesting premise. I would argue its only good for one play-through and advise you use guides if stuck as the puzzles can have exceedingly bizarre solutions. Despite some glaring flaws (Combat is also tedious) I do like the game but am hesitant to recommend it for everyone. If you are going to get it, get it on sale.
Really Neat puzzle Side Scroller!
This game is one of the coolest side scroller games that I have played to this day and really enjoyed the time that I was in the game and playing. I liked this first one so much that I went out and bought the second one, only to realize that they have been out for a very long time and didn't realize or give them a chance and I'm glad that I did. I did find some of the missions and the puzzles a bit tidious in the fact that I had to go back and forth a lot especially through the entire segment of the part of the mission to grab an item or for the charector that you are playing to get a new dialogue so you are able to progress in the story mission.
In my opinion this game is worth the play if you like puzzle games especially, the action in the game only took a second to get used to and was an enjoyable time during the game play. I would also recommend this game for a sale for the fact that it has been out for quiet some time now. And shouldn't be an issue when steam puts theyre sales out.

Nice little adventure with some action elements. I liked the turn of events several times.
Quick and to the point. Decent story in a semi-point&click style. Some light puzzling and fetching to progress. Overall enjoyed it.

Great atmosphere. Engaging story/suspense. Controls are clunky but useable with a gamepad. The action part of this game leaves much to be desired. But at least it's rather minimal given the controls being rather poor. The puzzles are good. The ending of this game was a real disappointment as the game more or less just stops and leaves the player required to buy the next part. The game should be more honestly advertised as a first chapter. Despite my complaints, I made it to the end - which says alot as I rarely make it thru much of any game these days. I'll buy the second part when it's around $5.00.
