The game requires to login into UBISOFT CONNECT upon launching, but I am unable to login with my existing UBISOFT CONNECT account for some reason (it keep saying Connection lost whenever I tried to login). I've also attempted to create new UBISOFT CONNECT account from multiple platforms (using the PC app/android/website etc) but still unable to create a new account for some reason.... its very upset that such a fun game having with the issue above.... big dissapoinment to UBISOFT.....
another game rotten away by shitsoft i can not even play the game i waste hours of fixing the dam game and still ups with butts, go FUK UR SELF WITH UR SHITSOFT CONNECT
It's the second-best Assasin's Creed game, just behind AC Brotherhood. It's a shame the optimisation was poor at launch (It still is if you don't have a decent PC) The story is good, but the gameplay is fantastic, and the parkour mechanics are top-notch. I recommend checking out a few yt guides, as the game doesn't provide enough information to fully understand and master the movement. This game features coop missions, and it's a fantastic experience to synchronize assassinations with your friends. I strongly encourage to give this game a chance, as it offers a great Assassin's Creed experience.
I am so frustrated. I played this game on Xbox One and loved it. I was actually looking foward to trying this buggy mess again. Despite it's flaws, I still think it's amazing.
So tell me why I can't play my ******* game. I keep trying to make a UConnect account, but the servers are down so I can't login. There's an offline launch option- but it only works if you've logged in once before. What happens once Ubisoft goes out of business an their servers are shut down? It's only a matter of time at this point. They can't even sell a star wars game.
Great game- not sure how it is on PC cause I can't play it. May refund because I could potentially lose this game forever to some server issue.
EDIT: Finally got logged in, and played a bit. Just tried to launch it again, and now it says this game is linked to another Uconnect account. I'm done, I really want to play it, but I can't.
THE BEST ASSASSIN'S CREED.
*This game feels like the natural progression and culmination of all the games before it.
*The gameplay, customization, parkour, story and graphics are all peak for the series.
*Ubisoft finally added achievements.
Unity has FINALLY gotten steam achievements! Hopefully this is Ubisoft waking up, I'm just waiting for them to add achievements to ghost recon and older ac games now...
I definitely would reccomend this game! the map is MASSIVE and the ground is so LOW, and the map FADING after starting a new sequence or memory is really cool! anyway i need some TAPER.
This is just a kind reminder that Ubisoft Launcher is a piece of shit software that leechs the fun out of any game.
Good game, but be aware although you're able to game share this title via family sharing, Ubisoft Connect will make you purchase your own copy regardless. Fuck Ubisoft and fuck Ubisoft Connect
Adding achievements while still keeping the bullshit launcher mandatory, get your shit together Ubisoft! You either get bought by Microsoft of Tencent so just remove the launcher right away because they will for sure!
The game is the most fun AC game I have played .I am really having fun playing this game. This game is a forgotten gem.
Everyone knows that Assassin's Creed Series is one of the best game series ever so i will say it has the most diverse graphics and story line . Yes, there're many issues also like crowd glitch, rendering issue but still it's a full enjoyable game .
French crowds. A French revolution. A French plot. 10/10. The only shame it did not take one step further with multiplayer - aka never introduced a truly multiplayer-with-friends open-world exp, not just missions.
i bought this damn game went to sign in wouldn't work for over a week, finally update came out on Ubisoft side and now its asking me for a freaking activation code as if i bought a physical edition!
IM DONE REFUNDING!
PC crowd told me this game is fixed.
It really is not. Texture pop-in, NPC popping in, changing models. Buildings popping out/in if you're 20M away.
This game was released in 2014, like who tf would believe this shi-?
The Graphics are so jaw-dropping, you’d swear it was made in 2024..
Even after 10 years, it still looks better than many modern titles... (Better than CONCORD)
And Paris? It’s unreal.. The city is so beautifully detailed, i am pretty sure you'll be on a tour of this city rather than doing the missions... Every street, every building, every corner feels alive.
Despite its rocky launch, this game’s visuals remain some of the best you’ll see....
A real Assassin creed
Btw, Idk if it's just me but i fricking hate in the story when we go out of the Animus. I think it's just useless to the story and so boring.
巴黎奥运会动作指导
豪玩,但是有时候不知道该干什么…
I played this game all the way back when the xbox one came out. Ever since haven't really touched the game and just now bought it again, this time on steam however. Still, the game truly delivers. It is just a phenomenal experience. Truly recommend it for someone looking to play AC with their friends or for someone that just wants a really solid AC game.
It no fun. Missions are boring, game big price. Items in game beeeeeeg price. Micro transactions. I no like.
Pigeon rating 4oz / 10oz of crack
First of all, you need to register, there is a launcher that asks your password every time you want to play, the Windows focus shifts from steam to the launcher and turns my steamlink crazy, For some reason you have to change your password from time to time, because it doesn't recognize it although when you try to put the same password you're not allowed because, you know, it's your actual password.
The game. First four AC had a terrible combat, parkhour and a basic story, but somehow managed to keep you invested. The story forced you to visit cool places and was clear enough to push you forward. There was even the connection between present and past that add another layer to the story and a background conspiration theme that was used to add variety levels and visual twists.
In this game, controls and combat are still terrible but the gameplay is pure bloat, everything seems half baked and you can guess sometimes what they were trying to do and how if failed terribly. The story is a mess, it isn't clear why anybody is doing anything, everybody wants to kill you while walking on the street, and they do it easily because everybody has a gun and aims perfectly to your back and instakill you most of times. I never knew which was my side in the story if there was one, and it's funny how in the DLC Arno becames a disappointed patriot when I can't tell ffs what his politycal ideas, agenda or opinion about revolution or monarchy were in the full game.
Graphics are technically impressive, with a lot of detail and nterior areas, but boring and repetitive, even the temple/mistery areas. All Paris seem the same muddy brown mass of houses overburnt by sunlight. NotreDame could have give more in terms of gameplay and exploration and the catacombs were terribly boring and missused. Climbing puzzles are practically inexistent, Arno can climb flat walls like a rat. The amount of people in the streets doesn't give a feeling of life but annoyance and bloating, and guards can see you while rounded of people if they want to, who cares. The Nostradamus enigmas, boring and confusing, it was funnier in previous games. A lot of effort in the historic part of the side missions, but the main game was so overwhelming that you wanted to finish it ASAP. A giant waste of time an resources.
Only Syndicate to go and I'll kill my Ubisoft account, uninstall the launcher and forget they ever existed.
YOU HAVE TO PAY REAL MONEY TO BUY GEAR, if you dont want to spent 100 hour grinding THIS IS RIDICULOUS.
Online connection and ubisoft launcher required or the game wont start.
Lots of glitches like falling through roofs and being stuck out of the map until the games force-kills you to reset. Texture not loading properly.
The stats on gear make this game a major pain compared to the previous assassin's creed, i like this franchise because that lets me go right into good gameplay immediatly, this is the opposite of that. You start "crippled" and sloooowly grind up skills point to unlocks basic features of the previous games.
Also, enemies snipers have eagle vision and they are everywhere, the moment they sees you every enemy around also sees you instantly and you get swarmed. it makes stealth a major pain. 6 hours of play and i were forced to fight like a damn barbarian 1v6 in 50% of situations; the combat system is pretty basic and gets boring really quickly.
Skills points and gear is locked behind COOP MISSIONS, that you have to REPLAY SEVERAL TIMES and since no one plays this game in 2024 good luck soloing missions meant for 4 players.
If you want to play Assassin's Creed, go with any other, i played AC 1, 2 and its sequels, 3 and Origins. Every one of those were more fun.
This is one of my favorite games but Ubisoft connect absolutely ruins the experience. Why do i have to login every time i want to boot the game? just let me play the game
This game is good for many reasons, but there are two main reasons I think could convince nearly anyone to buy this game.
1. You get to kill french people
2. You get to look cool whilst killing french people
W game with high graphics and good storys but the game sometimes reaches 20-30 fps when in a crowd but its good for those who play in a good pc. Thank you
beautiful game 10/10 from what i experienced so far the difficulty is a bit harder than most ac games but i personally like it.
Loved the gameplay, combat was challenging, so have to rely on stealth. Wish there wasn't this stupid language restriction!
i forgot how shit ubisoft is i forgot my password for uplay and when i tried to reset it i got my account suspended im sick of having to play games with twelve different fucking launchers. if i bought the game on STEAM i shouldn't have to sign into uplay every single damn time i launch the game. now i remember why i pirate games, so i dont have to deal with this launcher BULLSHIT and get locked out of my own account because i forgot the password and cant even fucking RESET THE PASSWORD because of "suspicious activity" as if i haven't logged in on this same computer for this same game a dozen times.
ubiSHIT can take their shitty customer service and even shittier game launcher and shove it up their fucking assholes. i'm done purchasing there dog shit and going back to piracy they will never get another penny from me again.
Now aside from how shit there service is and launcher AC unity was a great game if you get past all the glitches and what not but the experience is ruined by having to deal with there shit launcher and also the microtransactions in the game.
FUCK UBISHIT!
this game is still unfinished.
I'm experiencing so many technical problems that to fix them I missed my refund window, and they're not even fixed. I have no idea how to fix the pop ins and the character models straight up swapping in crowds.
This game looks really cool when others play it but I seem to be the only one that has problems.
not all of the bugs were fix, this game was very annoying at times and the story was ok, parkour was very realistic.
In some ways, this is one of my favorite assassin's creed (having played them in order, and playing this most recently). I love Paris, it manages to feel like a full city and has great architecture for all of the free running and lots of verticality compared to say AC3 where the cities often felt very short and small (which, while accurate, doesn't make for the most fun urban environments imo).
When the running works, it's fantastic. I love it when Arno can leap off a building and swing through a window. And then it just doesn't work sometimes, which sucks and is deeply frustrating.
I feel like at this point, people generally know how they feel about Unity, and whether or not they'll give it a chance. But assuming you haven't decided, it's worth picking up in a sale and checking it out.
its a good game but my frame rate is too low cuz i have a trash pc so i just uninstalled it
I would have initially recommended this game as it is my favourite assassin's creed game, until i realised that you cannot start a new game. You can only play through this title once unless you go into your steam files and delete specific save data which i am not willing to do as i dont know what i am doing. If you are looking for a gaming experience that feels somewhat modern along with more modern graphics that you can only play once... then this game is for you. otherwise do not waste your money cause you can only experience it once.
Immerses players in revolutionary Paris with gorgeous visuals and rich details,
marred only by its launch technical issues.
I miss the ,,old'' Assassin's Creed games, where parkour and stealth were the preferred options for completing missions, unlike in the newer games.
Great Assassin game. The performance is great although there is a visual bug where objects and buildings won't render. The easiest way to fix this problem is to cap your fps to 120 or below. The game doesn't have an fps cap option so you'll have to use either the AMD Adrenaline Software or the NVidia Geforce App.Since I play on an RX 7900 XTX the Radeon Chill option was the one I used and capped the fps to 120.
I should start this with I do enjoy the game and personally the last good AC game before ubisoft fell off. I just don't like how I can no longer play the game even tho I paid for it all because according to ubisoft I'm not connected to my account even though I've checked and I am still connected (yes I also contacted support) so in conclusion the game is worth it for a single story run but expect to lose access sometime afterwords.
The game is amazing.
After you've gained some higher aids you can do well, eventually you can beat anything using a wide variety of methods. Check your map often, perhaps.
Gaming was text when I started so I'm forgiving of any small bugs. The graphics are excellent.
The Parkour is quite fanciful. . . and then there's the signing in and the disclaimers etc that shouldn't need to be shown everytime I start the game without s SKIP option...
This is honestly a terrible gaming experience.
The rework of movement is awful. I appreciate that there is more control over ascending and descending, but wow the controls are god awful. The game can't identify what you want to do no matter how few enemies are around, it can't follow your controls and acts like a "smart" controls and its awful, god awful. Whoever decided this was a good switch and pushed it through managerial wise really needs to be fired.
This is by far the worst assassins creed I ever played and I love the hell out of this series, even if its just a cash grab these days. Still going to finish it but I cannot just sit and play it like the others, I have to stop from the frustration after less than half an hour at a time it is just that bad.
Despite its rocky start, Assassin's Creed Unity has matured into a remarkable game. The city of Paris is beautifully rendered, and the parkour system allows for fluid and exciting traversal. The game's focus on co-op missions also adds a new dimension to the Assassin's Creed formula.
Hard to track mission and wht to do its feel like all scattered and small mission dont seems to end
> Boot up Steam
> Download and install AC: Unity
> Launch
> "Login to Ubisoft Connect"
> Fatfinger password typo
> "Too many login attempts, come back later"
> Go to register a ticket with Ubisoft
> Can't, because you need to login
Let me play the game I bought from you. Why do I need to authenticate with the developer who I am when I already authenticated who I am with the distributor when I bought the f**king game?
In what way is this even remotely acceptable as the standard way of doing things for PAYING customers when the guys you're TRYING to target (i.e. pirates) will just circumvent all of this crap anyway?
The game is ok but single player items are locked behind bullshit hard co-op missions
It's fun listening to the mentally unstable french people audibly FROTH at the mouth while failing to be held down by yet three other french people.
I also swear my french friend said that he was there... and that he remembers some of the structures from his past life... HOW TF!?
Great addition to the franchise and an absolute peak in regard to parkour fluidity. All motion is great to watch and satisfying to perform. Otherwise, it is a standard Assassin's Creed, game similar to many previous entries.
Random freezing of all characters and if I'm in a fight or chase I can't fast travel out of it
Get the game on sale for under $20 bucks it's not worth $20 or more the story is very very short and the open world is lacking luster but the game isn't bad and quite fun because you play as the assassin Arno
I've owned Assassins Creed Unity for years and never started or beat it til now. the games graphics are very beautiful for a game from 2014 and the parkour is really good that's pretty much it. The combat is pretty cool at first but the enemies get special animations that one shot you no matter what health you're at.
The Story is a 6/10 it's very slow and is all over the place til you get half way through the game unfortunately but ARNO IS A VERY UNIQUE ASSASSIN and his funny and bold personality makes the game bearable and actually quite fun.
over 1000 hrs, safe to say i like it. get acu fixes mod and front flip mod and physics patch and you're set
fun game, ahead of it's time graphically, awesome atmosphere of France, still buggy af lost progress a few times and had NPCs not spawn that were needed for quests / objectives.
Rec if you get it for $20 or less
This game feels poorly designed—movement is clunky, missions are unclear, enemies are too easy to defeat, and the repetitive, uninteresting missions make it boring.
